Waking Times

It’s late twenty eighteen where everything is a messy mystery in the world of humans.

Compared to our rocky history, life has been relatively fruitful for us over the last several decades with exponential growth in human consciousness – such as how we think about our interrelationship with our environment, other cultures and even ourselves – as well as the general expansion of both individual and mutual awareness.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Our collective conscience is speaking about our past and present evils like never before, and rightfully so.

However, this sudden explosion of ancestral guilt for how we’ve killed, maimed, raped and pillaged for millennia – which was largely flamed by the spread of information across the unprecedented invention of the internet – has had its harmful effects too.

Simply put, we are divided into camps where we blame each other for society’s ills in sometimes abusive and hateful ways. A prominent example is obviously left versus right politics, extending in America and across the world as never-Trumpers versus Trump supporters. Then of course there’s plenty of moral, philosophical, practical and other disagreements too. Unfortunately however, our division goes even more extreme on the fringes, such as women versus men and alternative sexuality versus heterosexuality.

The height of this insanity is everyone else versus white, straight men.

Bringing Clarity to Our Vision

Our current stage in the cycle of western (and even human) experience involves a natural exposure of the imbalance of power across our societies, which is why the resistance against the patriarchy is one of the primary sources of this harmful behaviour. It more or less has noble roots, however it lacks the bigger picture which has resulted with an unintended but destructive consequence.

We fight with each other more than ever. Behind the anonymity of the web, plus the ideological echo chambers fuelled by social media algorithms and partisan news outlets, we commonly degrade ourselves to not just outwardly disrespect and hate against other people because of their different opinions, but inwardly maintain a taste of disdain towards them too.

It’s ironic, really. In as much as western society in general has strived for equality and dignity across all demographics over recent decades, the relationships within our own cultures have deteriorated in vile and outright dangerous behaviours. For example:

  • The extreme left and right wings of the political bird have spiralled political dialogue out of control due to their bitterly increasing hate for each other;
  • Many people have flown right into the trap of ‘being that which you hate’, such as the widespread abuse and even violence inflicted by the more extreme social justice warriors;
  • Irrational and excessive political correctness has divided many people into cages where they fight to the existential death for their right to be heard and respected; and
  • Those who have rejected mainstream culture for alternative narratives on life are widely infighting for the ‘trophy of ultimate truth’, regardless if they recognise it themselves.

It is admirable that many people in this current day and age are really trying to right our wrongs against our environment and our human family, but unfortunately we’re poorly focused and our execution is counter-productive in many ways. Whilst we’re rotting from the inside out by fighting with each other and hating on each other, the actual source of the struggle goes largely unnoticed, let alone countered.

What is this core conflict? It is simply control versus freedom.

Put slightly differently, we can also think of it as centralisation versus decentralisation. For many centuries humanity has continuously strived for emancipation from oppression and the solidification of sovereignty. Sometimes it has been two steps forward, once step back, yet we’ve still made some great inroads which are best symbolised by any man-made law which promotes individual liberty and the right to pursue one’s own health and happiness.

Yet as we move past the start of the 21st century, the freedoms earned by the blood, sweat and tears of our ancestors are being self-abusively eroded by us – the people – because we are mentally brawling amongst ourselves instead of reversing the climbing concentration of wealth and the monopolisation of not just technology and industry, but ideology too.

We’re effectively digging the grave for democracy.

Refocusing on the Instruments of Control

Examples of societal infrastructure which has been privately cartelised to either significant or complete degrees include the money supply, banks, mainstream media, pharmaceuticals, energy manufacturers, tertiary education, big tech, social media platforms and other online infrastructure, to name but a few.

However, an equally terrifying reality has emerged; private control over our managerial systems (aka governments) has been boosted to unprecedented levels, with lobbying, bribery, political puppetry, overt collusion and unelected bureaucracy really making an obvious mockery of our once thriving democratic dream.

Regardless if we call the state of our current system an aristocracy, corporatocracy, kleptocracy, oligarchy or a top-secret-tyranny, it’s more or less irrelevant. What’s important is to understand that power and wealth is so condensed in our social system that it evidentially and therefore undoubtedly influences our present and future in undemocratic, fraudulent, unethical and harmful ways.

And ‘we the people’ allow it, not just by failing to collectively call it out for what it is, but also by wasting too much of our precious time and energy by projecting our conscious (and unconscious) frustrations in misguided ways, regardless if the intention is actually honourable or not.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

And that’s exactly what people who benefit from our sick system want. As stated in my novel, ‘The Simulation’:

So that’s why they want us fighting each other. They want feminists to be angry at men. The patriarchy is the scapegoat, because it means their focus is on men, not on how the system is designed itself. They want us to be so distracted with our individual plights so that we don’t collectively put an end to our debt-enslaved society. Now of course I’m not saying that many of these issues aren’t important, but if we want to have any chance at resolving poverty, homelessness, community breakdown, psychopathological pandemics and our sick society in general, then we need to put our differences to the side and together focus on the bigger picture.

Competition AND Cooperation are the Keys to Success

Competition is healthy, in some ways. For example, competing against each other in scientific and innovative pursuits can be done respectfully and playfully, whilst still advancing us with greater efficiency. Other examples are sports, entertainment, ideas, policy and even philosophy, as well as debating the best moves forward. Yet once we begin to compete in self-defeating manners – such as the fear and hate that we project onto each other for having different opinions – then we all lose.

Instead, we need to cooperate at basic levels, even if it means just avoiding conflict. However, there really is a strong opportunity to identify our shared goals and work together to achieve them. We should take it.

Think about the simple choice we have. Do we support covert control or do we stand for a sovereign society? Do we want the power to be in the upper tiers of financial privilege or in the hands of the people?

If you chose the latter, then you support a free society where people don’t consistently fight and hate on others but instead support ‘individual rights’ and ‘do no harm unless in self-defence’. But that’s not how some people act:

  • Online gangs of political correctness minions consistently abuse and harass those who they don’t agree with, regardless if their heart is in the right place;
  • People with bigoted, dissenting or just alternative views (sometimes justifiably and unjustifiably labelled as ‘hate speech’) are being called to be censored by big tech (the modern-day public square), instead of being objectively and respectfully debated which of course is the only way to evolve the collective narrative (i.e. suppression of free speech has never and will never work and actually has a counter-productive effect);
  • Many people who ‘have chosen a side’ get pleasure from seeing the other party suffer; and
  • The self-harm that is generated by this infighting – such as anxiety, depression and fear – is strikingly ironic.

Now make no mistake, we don’t need to get along with everyone, nor do we even have to agree on anything beyond the principles we all share. There will always be views that seem ridiculous or even outright insane, regardless if our critique of them is accurate or not. But that doesn’t mean we cannot conceptualise how reality works: these are unimportant conflicts which don’t break our unspoken agreement.

After all, as long as we’re not causing harm, our right to live as we freely choose needs to be respected by ourselves and each other. So consider it now spoken: that’s our fundamental agreement. Memorise it and live it. In both the simple and complex ways it arises, it’s best we start operating with a basic love and respect for each other if we want it for ourselves.

The Role of the Independent Media

A default destiny has arisen for the independent media, which has never been so critical and influential in shaping the future of our species. The strong majority of the population have little trust in the mainstream media (as indicated by poll after poll after poll) because they feel that the corporate media sensationalise and politicalise information, as well as spread propaganda and fake news, to advance their own financial and ideological agendas.

This is why online and independent media platforms have grown exponentially over recent years, including social media platforms which honour free speech. Yet the independent media is just as divided as the populace. In as much as many platforms have collaborated with others who have similar views, this has resulted in combative echo chambers and therefore further fragmentation within the networks of people who follow them.

Simply put, the ‘truth and freedom network’ has suffered from a divide and conquer strategy because the independent media has done the same politically, geopolitically, systemically, philosophically and conspiratorially.

Therefore, the independent thinking communities at large, as well as the alternative media, have a grand opportunity to reverse this trend: we all need to encourage cooperation between those who hold truth and freedom in high regard.

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

Ultimately, it’s a simple and smart suggestion: in whatever way it makes sense, let’s have an ongoing discussion through our social and professional networks about helping each other out in the name of a free and decentralised future for humanity. As added benefits, it will largely identify infiltrated information sources, shrills and any others who don’t align with a free and just society, as well as speed up the inevitability of a true public dialogue emerging about the dark and dysfunctional realities of our social system and the best possible candidates for moving past them.

Final Thoughts

So many of us are sick, stressed and/or sad. It’s a poor state of affairs, given our technological, intellectual and philosophical progress. Our collective health is disproportionately suffering on many levels, which no doubt encourages much of this irrational and combative behaviour.

However, it is important to understand that most people’s hearts are more or less in the right place, regardless of how selfish, cowardly, traumatised, misguided or belief-controlled they might be. When we start with turning on this light bulb, it’s much easier to be more empathetic and less condemning towards those we disagree with.

However, we need to also ensure that we’re humble enough to realise we have many beliefs that are actually wrong. We are deceived and deluded in our own, unique way. This recognition is fundamentally important for advancing both our individual and collective perspective.

Put another way, we need to respect the journey we’ve always had: for our entire lives we’ve constantly exposed our opinions that were wrong and then changed our minds accordingly. This journey will always continue and we’re lying to ourselves if we believe it has come to an end, even with some of our most celebrated convictions.

In addition, when individuals express hate towards others, it’s generally because they have some level of hatred towards themselves, yet they likely fear something about the other party too. For example, they might fear their views and what their views represent, especially ones which would uproot their own dogmatic positions and therefore their sense of identity. In their perspective (regardless if it’s conscious or unconscious), it’s a threat to their sense of self.

That’s not to remove responsibility for hateful behaviour, because regardless of poor programming, traumatic life events or other factors beyond our control, we all have the power to respond in any way we so choose. But we can still be compassionate towards their confusion and self-generated suffering because we’ve all had it to one degree or another in our own past (and most likely presently too).

Furthermore, it doesn’t matter if we’re absolutely right about whatever peripheral debate we’re having with others, we still need to respect our fundamental alliance. To reiterate and reshape, this relationship is based in truth, freedom, honour, love and peace. If we do so, just imagine the decentralised and sovereign future we could potentially create.

And one more thing: people power is our ultimate weapon. Innovation, policy upgrades and systemic utilities have evolved not because of those in power, but because of the will of the people. In this light, of course it is necessary to illuminate the darkness of immorality, poor design, scamming and corrupt centralisation within our public and private institutions, however we must also remember that we are the primary co-creators of our destiny too.

A year ago, we wrote an article about nigella sativa (aka black seed) titled, ‘The Remedy For Everything But Death.’ It described the research on the many ways in which black seed (nigella sativa) is a potentially life-saving medicinal food, and is one of our most popular articles, with over 700K social media shares.

Opening with, “This humble, but immensely powerful seed, kills MRSA, heals the chemical weapon poisoned body, stimulates regeneration of the dying beta cells within the diabetic’s pancreas, and yet too few even know it exists,” the article summarized the peer-reviewed and published research on 10 of the seed’s remarkable health benefits:

  • Type 2 Diabetes: Two grams of black seed a day resulted in reduced fasting glucose, decreased insulin resistance, increased beta-cell function, and reduced glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in human subjects.[ii]
  • Helicobacter Pylori Infection: Black seeds possess clinically useful anti-H. pylori activity, comparable to triple eradication therapy.[iii]
  • Epilepsy: Black seeds were traditionally known to have anticonvulsive properties. A 2007 study with epileptic children, whose condition was refractory to conventional drug treatment, found that a water extract significantly reduced seizure activity.[iv]
  • High Blood pressure: The daily use of 100 and 200 mg of black seed extract, twice daily, for 2 months, was found to have a blood pressure-lowering effect in patients with mild hypertension.[v]
  • Asthma: Thymoquinone, one of the main active constituents within Nigella sativa, is superior to the drug fluticasone in an animal model of asthma.[vi]Another study, this time in human subjects, found that boiled water extracts of black seed have relatively potent antiasthmatic effect on asthmatic airways.[vii]
  • Acute tonsillopharyngitis: characterized by tonsil or pharyngeal inflammation (i.e. sore throat), mostly viral in origin, black seed capsules (in combination with Phyllanthus niruri) have been found to significantly alleviate throat pain, and reduce the need for pain-killers, in human subjects.[viii]
  • Chemical Weapons Injury: A randomized, placebo-controlled human study of chemical weapons injured patients found that boiled water extracts of black seed reduced respiratory symptoms, chest wheezing, and pulmonary function test values, as well as reduced the need for drug treatment.[ix]
  • Colon Cancer: Cell studies have found that black seed extract compares favorably to the chemoagent 5-fluoruracil in the suppression of colon cancer growth, but with a far higher safety profile.[x] Animal research has found that black seed oil has significant inhibitory effects against colon cancer in rats, without observable side effects.[xi]
  • MRSA: Black seed has anti-bacterial activity against clinical isolates of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus.[xii]
  • Opiate Addiction/Withdrawal: A study on 35 opiate addicts found black seed as an effective therapy in long-term treatment of opioid dependence.[xiii]

Since then, the biomedical research on black seed has continued to flourish, with another 78 studies published and cited on the National Library of Medicine’s biomedical database MEDLINE over the past 11 months.

Here are 16 additional potential health benefits to add to the growing list:
  1. Prevents Radiation Damage: Nigella sativa oil (NSO) and its active component, thymoquinone, protect brain tissue from radiation-induced nitrosative stress.[i]
  2. Protects Against Damage from Heart Attack: A thymoquinone extract from nigella sativa has a protective effect against damage associated with experimental heart attack.[ii]
  3. Prevents Morphine Dependence/Toxicity: An alcohol extract of nigella sativa reduces morphine-associated conditioned place preference, an indication of morphine intoxication, dependence and tolerance.[iii]
  4. Prevents Kidney Damage Associated with Diabetes: A thymoquinone extract from nigella sativa has protective effects on experimental diabetic nephropathy.[iv]
  5. Prevents Post-Surgical Adhesions: Covering peritoneal surfaces with Nigella sativa oil (NSO) after peritoneal trauma is effective in decreasing peritoneal adhesion formation in an experimental model.[v]
  6. Prevents Alzheimer’s Associated Neurotoxicity: A thymoquinone extract from nigella sativa has protective effects on experimental diabetic prevents neurotoxicity and Aβ1-40-induced apoptosis in the cell model.[vi]
  7. Suppresses Breast Cancer Growth: : A thymoquinone extract from nigella sativa inhibits tumor growth and induces programmed cell death (apoptosis) in a breast cancer xenograft mouse model.[vii] [viii]
  8. Exhibits Anti-Psoriasis Properties: The alcohol extract of nigella sativa seeds exhibit anti-psoriatic activity, consistent with its medicinal use in traditional medicine.[ix]
  9.  Prevents Brain Pathology Associated with Parkinson’s Disease: A thymoquinone extract from nigella sativa protects cultured neurons against αSN-induced synaptic toxicity, a pathology observed in the brains of patients with Parkinson’s disease and dementia with Lewy bodies.[x]
  10.  Kills Highly Aggressive Glioblastoma Brain Cancer Cells: A thymoquinone extract from nigella sativa exhibits glioblastoma cell killing activity. [xi]
  11.  Kills Leukemia Cells: A thymoquinone from nigella sativa induces mitochondria-mediated apoptosis in acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in vitro.[xii]
  12.  Suppresses Liver Cancer Growth: A thymoquinone extract from nigella sativa prevents chemically-induced cancer in a rat model.[xiii]
  13.  Prevents Diabetic Pathologies: A water and alcohol extract of nigella sativa at low doses has a blood-sugar lowering effect and ameliorative effect on regeneration of pancreatic islets, indicating its value as a therapeutic agent in the management of diabetes mellitus.[xiv]
  14. Suppresses Cervical Cancer Cell Growth: A thymoquinone extract from nigella sativa exhibits anti-proliferative, apoptotic and anti-invasive properties in a cervical cancer cell line.[xv]
  15.  Prevents Lead-Induced Brain Damage: A thymoquinone extract from nigella sativa ameliorates lead-induced brain damage in Sprague Dawley rats.[xvi]
  16. Kills Oral Cancer Cells: A thymoquinone extract from nigella sativa induces programmed cell death (apoptosis) in oral cancer cells.[xvii]

Why is such a powerful seed not yet on the radar of most medical and nutrition communities? We know sesame seed can beat Tylenol in reducing arthritis pain and can reduce cardiovascular disease risk factors in a manner that makes statin drugs envious, and we know flaxseeds shrink breast and prostate tumors, but black seed’s benefits are still largely under reported and underutilized.

Interestingly, despite this blind spot, and as if to confirm black seed’s immense potential as a healing agent, Nestlé, the Switzerland-based global food giant, filed a patent on patent on the use of nigella sativa to “prevent food allergies” in 2010 (Nestlé’s international patent publication WO2010133574). This obvious attempt to appropriate traditional knowledge and use claimed the plant seed or extract should be Nestlé’s intellectual property when used as a food ingredient or drug.  According to a Third World Network Briefing Paper from July, 2012:

“The Swiss giant’s claims appear invalid, as traditional uses of Nigella sativa clearly anticipate Nestlé’s patent application, and developing country scholarship has already validated these traditional uses and further described, in contemporary scientific terms, the very medicinal properties of black seed that Nestlé seeks to claim as its own “invention”.

“Nestlé claims any use of an opioid receptor-stimulating compound to treat or prevent allergies, specifically thymoquinone and, more specifically, administration of thymoquinone in the form of Nigella sativa plant material (seeds).3 The type of food allergy of greatest focus is upset stomach and diarrhea.”

The good news is that no such patent has yet to win approval, and for now, this food is still freely available. For additional research updates, simply go to Pubmed.gov, and sign up for an automatic email update for the keyword “nigella sativa,” and you’ll be one of the first to learn about the new research being done on this amazing seed as it comes directly through the biomedical research pipeline.

Freedom once meant something significant for mankind. It meant ceasing to be suppressed and imprisoned by forces that endeavour to control one. The word ‘freedom’ conjured a sense of what it means, at least to some degree, to be master of one’s destiny.

No longer, for many, the new freedom has almost exactly the opposite meaning. Now freedom seems to be associated with having someone or something doing one’s thinking for one; making decisions that one ‘can’t be bothered ‘or doesn’t want to make – and ultimately completely relieving one from responsibility for taking any form of action other than that which enriches one’s pocket and/or one’s narcissist fantasies.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

In fact this new ‘freedom’ offers – on a plate – to the oppressor of old the chance to continue his mastery of human control, but under a new guise: the tantalising deception of ‘convenience’. That which by-passes the need for mental creative effort (and often physical effort as well) and which makes one believe that there is really little or nothing to do, other than tap a keyboard and get tuned into a cyberspace virtual reality world which will do the rest for one. This is the great tempter of our age. The one that lays out the red carpet for a soft and sly take-over by nothing less than a non human artificial intelligence.

Yes, the superficial seductiveness of the pocket sized touch-button technology of passivity, the human masters of which sit in Silicon Valley and the Pentagon, monitoring every move that serves the further advancement of the totalitarian central control system.

Did slavery ever loose its grip on the great mass of humanity? Have the majority always preferred the safety of mindlessness to the dangers of consciousness? Was Shakespeare on the button when he had Hamlet pose the infamous rhetorical question “To be or not to be, that is the question”.

It’s a question that should never need to be posed, and indeed never would have been had some betrayal of the divine nature of humanity not taken place, many thousands of years ago. After all, the spirit infused natural make-up of mankind provided all the fuel needed to guide us on our way to the full expression of our potentiality as universal beings. Yet a deviation from this path was established, and has proved to be a strong opiate – a formidable obstacle to the spiritual evolution of our species.

This deviation has gone so far, that nothing less than the ability to retain the power of independent thought is now at stake.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

I believe that the social psychologist and historian Erich Fromm was right when he said that ‘fear of freedom’ was symptomatic in allowing the rise of fascism before World War Two, and that the prevailing sense of insecurity in society generally leads people to abandon hard won civil liberties, for the seeming safety and protection of ‘strong leadership’, regardless of its motives.

But this type of capitulation plays directly into the hands of those who are best at manipulating peoples’ fears; bringing about an ever greater centralisation of power in the hands of the despotic few. A deft slight of hand, that while giving the impression of providing security and leadership, is actually a calculated step towards the totalitarian take-over.

So now, in 2018/19, we find a similar sense of insecurity gripping those who have repeatedly put their faith in cardboard cut-out political figureheads who subsequently proved to be puppets of the deep state and masters of deception. Public confidence in the old way of doing politics has steadily drained away, leaving a vacuum which has not been filled. However, the deep state has long anticipated the arrival of such a vacuum, and indeed has been instrumental in creating just the right circumstances for it.

The present state of malaise, shaped as it is by a growing despair in ‘human leadership’, offers a particularly ripe moment for bringing forward a ‘non human’ technological solution to the organisation of day to day life on this planet. An increasing dependence on artificial intelligence as a ‘solution’ to human failings.

Day to day solutions to the needs of society were once dealt with on the ground, at community level, in a hands-on approach which drew on a shared pool of human skills, inventiveness and judgement. But such qualities have been all too quickly sidelined and the responsibilities that went with them are now left in the hands of those who design computer programmes, algorithms and internet control systems. Systems that side-step collective human participation altogether, in favour of the absolute predictability and complete uniformity of artificial intelligence.

It is the fear of freedom that makes this abdication of human responsibility to the machine such a temptation to large swathes of mankind. Much of humanity still remains conditioned to a parasitical

need to be led. Once it becomes apparent that political and corporate leadership is deeply corrupted and not remotely concerned with supporting the health and welfare of human beings, nor the wider environment that supports all living matter, a state of deep insecurity is provoked within society.

A society composed of those who cannot envision what it might mean to take unto themselves a level of actual responsibility for the future and the will to reset the direction of daily life away from dependence upon a figurehead. A figurehead carefully schooled in the art of deception.

People start looking around for someone or something to rely upon to relieve them of their anxiety; when what is actually needed is a robust examination of their lack of self motivation and the sort of inner responsibility that leads one to face reality square-on. To start taking control of one’s destiny.

However, such a task clearly remains a tall-order for for much of mankind. And so, led by the agenda of the top down control pyramid, people start abdicating their last human survival instincts in favour of the ‘comfort’ of a state of mindlessness. A voluntary paralysis of the power of thought that subsumes the normal activities of the neocortex to the programmed agenda of a robot. A sort of contractual abdication of all normal responsibilities, which denies the God given gift of a working brain and sentient heart in favour of ‘leadership by cyborg’.

Not so long ago, such an act would have been considered unthinkable. It would have been seen as going against the very nature of a humane value system. A state in which people freely express love, laughter, sadness and pain, as well as empathise with animal and plant kingdom surrounding them.

So, I am led to consider the likelihood that the deep state’s planned check-mate move in all this, is the role-out of 5G WiFi . 5G, with its determination to create a global satellite array designed to cover every last square inch of the planet, is designed to power this take-over by artificial intelligence. The AI take-over, in turn, is designed to power the global control system, and the global control system is to power the ‘internet of things’ which in turn is to power the ‘internet of everything’. It may not be in exactly that order, but what emerges are the preplanned moves of the final take-over. The New World Order.

Remember Dr Faustus, selling his soul to the devil? Well, the price of this 21st century contract is the end of humanity as we know it. People, unnacustomed to questioning or challenging authority and fearful of the vacuum created by its absence, want to create robots so they can be led by them; thus opening the way to perpetual slavery to a synthetic god of their own creation, while abandoning altogether any ties with the God who created them.

We stand right at the edge of such an abyss. But paradoxically, it comes at a time of rapid awakening. Mankind will either fall or be party to the creation of a beautiful new dawn. A quantum expansion in the evolution of the species. Every one of us is faced by the choice of seeking to make manifest our God given attributes or going into denial of their existence.

The present awakening has, at a critical time, provided us with a new sense of awareness. An awareness of the fact that our future lies in our hands and nobody else’s – and so does the planet’s. So let us have no hesitation in rising to the occasion, by drawing deeply upon our still accessible God given qualities of courage, dignity and perseverance. We have everything it takes to come through – and this is our ultimate test.

In a recent video commentary published in Medscape, New York University professor Arthur L. Caplan, PhD offered his views on the question of whether children have “vaccination rights.”

Dr. Caplan thinks that what he defines as the “vaccination rights” of minor children supersede the legal right of their parents to exercise informed consent to vaccination on their children’s behalf if a parent elects to decline one or more government recommended vaccines for whatever reason. He claims that vaccinating children represents a higher moral imperative than respecting the informed consent rights of parents.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

“I want to point out a moral stance that I don’t think has gotten enough attention, which is that every child has the right to be vaccinated,” said Caplan. “We keep talking about parents’ right to say yes or no, to avoid mandates or requirements, or to do what they choose to do. Someone has to speak up and say, ‘Well, what about the kids? Don’t they have any rights?’”

Caplan believes that if parents refuse to vaccinate their kids the government has the right to override the legal right of parents to make medical care decisions for their children. Caplan argues that the government has the duty to vaccinate the children without the consent of the parents and by force, if need be. “If the parents won’t do it, I think it’s the responsibility of the state or the government to do it,” said Caplan. “The presumption should be not listening to what parents who don’t want to vaccinate are saying, but starting out with a presumption that kids have a right to fight off deadly diseases, that kids who can’t be vaccinated have a right to protection. How do we move public policy forward from there?”1

Attempts to answer Caplan’s question about how to “move public policy forward” on the issue of parental rights regarding vaccination of their children are already well underway in the United States. Legislation has been introduced in states like California that would seek to give government the right to make health care decisions for children, even against the wishes of their parents, if the state deems the decisions to be in the best interests of the children.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Such legislation would also allow government authorities to take legal physical custody of children in cases where parents refuse to comply with mandates forcing or coercing them to vaccinate their children.

The thrust of Caplan’s thought process is that, at least when it comes to vaccination of children, parents should be stripped of their informed consent rights. Apparently, Caplan takes the view that the informed health care decisions that parents make for their children are just not relevant if those decisions conflict with government policy.

But it is precisely this “long held legal right to make informed, voluntary decisions about pharmaceutical products and medical procedures that carry risks for their children,” says Barbara Loe Fisher of the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC), that is “all that stands between parents and exploitation of their children by those in positions of power in society with a personal or professional vested interest in forcing every child to use pharmaceutical products that are not safe or effective for every child.”

NYU Professor Says Parents Have No Right to Refuse Vaccines for Their Children was last modified: November 5th, 2018 by WakingTimes

“There are great ideas undiscovered, breakthroughs available to those who can remove one of truth’s protective layers. There are places to go beyond belief” – Neil Armstrong (source)

Princeton physics professor and NASA astronaut, Dr. Brian O’Leary, once said that “there is abundant evidence that we are being contacted, that civilizations have been visiting us for a very long time.” Apollo 14 Astronaut, Dr. Edgar Mitchell, told the world that “yes, there have been crashed craft, and bodies recovered” and that “there is no doubt that we are being visited.” One of the original seven astronauts for Project Mercury, Gordon Cooper, has also been quite outspoken regarding extraterrestrial vehicles that are spotted and tracked, not only in space – but in our own atmosphere. Clark C. McClelland, a former technician of the Space Shuttle fleet claimed he personally observed an 8-to-9-foot tall extraterrestrial. Dr. Jacque Valle co-developed the first computerized map of Mars for NASA in 1963, and he continues to create awareness today. Buzz Aldrin has spoken multiple times regarding a UFO that followed them for the majority of their mission, as well as a monolith on the moon of Mars. Maurice Chatelain, a former NASA communications expert has also been quite outspoken.

I recently wrote an article about a high ranking Ex-USAF Colonel (ret), Ross Dedrickson, who claimed that the technical failure experienced during Apollo 13 forced extraterrestrials to assist them with their trip home. Story Musgrave, an American physician and retired NASA member, has been making his rounds at UFO conferences for years, and Eugene Cernan, commander of Apollo 17 has stated publicly that he thought “UFOs were somebody else, some other civilization.” John Brandenburg, the Deputy Director for the Clementine Mission to the Moon as spoken about the known extraterrestrial presence, publicly, many times.  He did so in a documentary called Aliens on the Moon.

These are just American astronauts and NASA personnel, and it’s not even the full list of employees who have made such comments and remarks, not to mention that there are just as many, if not more, from the space programs of other countries. This doesn’t even represent the tip of the iceberg. Retired Soviet Air Force colonel and cosmonaut trainee named Marina Popovic, for example, expressed that one of the last photographs received by the Russians from Phobos II showed “the silhouette of an odd-shaped object approaching the spacecraft.” Popovich said the picture was taken on March 25th, 1989, in deep space near Phobos (moon of Mars) shortly before contact with the craft was lost. She said the object very well may have been an alien spacecraft.” Her belief that this happened was also poorly expressed by the New York Times. You can read more about this story here.

The point is, there are uncountable amounts of people from within these space agencies, not to mention high ranking political, military and intelligence personnel who have all provided their testimony and experiences. Now that the UFO phenomenon is no longer taboo, and ‘officially’ declassified in the mainstream world, it’s time to bring attention to the extraterrestrial hypothesis.

Perhaps the biggest point I want to get across by mentioning all of the above is that the majority of astronauts and employees within multiple space programs have openly spoken up and out about this issue, yet none of them ever get or have received any mainstream air-time and attention. It seems those segments are reserved for astronauts like Chris Hadfield, who are placed on the most popular platforms only to debunk what all of the above are saying. If there are 50 astronauts saying yes, we are not alone and this is known, but one of them saying no, that’s the one that is the one who receives all of the attention.

Perhaps they are part of the “official campaign of secrecy and ridicule” that the very first CIA director, Roscoe Hiellenkoetter referred to regarding this subject.

Tall Dark Black Extraterrestrials

The video below is a clip of Project Camelot’s Kerry Cassidy interviewing Dr. Norman Bergrun about what’s really going on in space. A mechanical engineer, Dr. Bergrun has worked for Ames Research Laboratory, NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics), and Lockheed Missiles and Space Company, now known as Lockheed Martin. He then went on to found Bergrun Engineering and Research.

You can view some of his publications for NASA, where he worked for more than a decade, here.

Bergrun revealed a lot in this interview, which centered around what appear to be giant extraterrestrial spacecraft that are situated around the rings of Saturn. He called them, “The Ringmakers,” and also spoke of evidence regarding this entire subject. He spoke of (not the first to do so), extraterrestrial vehicles that appear to be even bigger than our own planet.

People have asked me about…I call them vehicles. I do not call them objects…They have all of the qualities of a vehicle, so that much we can say about them, for sure, so I’m calling them vehicles.

Norman is a scientist and doesn’t like to speculate at all. What he is saying comes from the evidence he has been privy to.

He is then asked by the interviewer, “Are you not posting the idea that they, those vehicles contain beings who are, you know, maybe like us?”

In his response, he refers to images that he’s seen:

If you want to know about people kind of thing, um, there is the ship that picked up the Voyager Capsule at Alameda Naval Shipyard. And they have a picture there of, uh, I think it’s the Apollo flight that Buz and Niel were on, uh but anyway, there’s one image there that shows Black People getting off…

He described them as very tall, stating that “7 feet would be a conservative estimate.”

You can watch the full interview below.

It’s interesting that he mentions the Buzz and Neil. According to  Ken Johnston, a Boeing engineer and a former fighter-jock and test pilot for Grumman Aerospace who was also a marine and an F-4 pilot, as well as a NASA employee, working as the chief Lunar Module test pilot at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston.

He has publicly stated, “While Neil and Buzz were on the Lunar surface, Neil switched to the medical channel, and spoke directly with the chief medical officer saying, they’re here, they’re parked on the side of the crater, they’re watching us.” You can read more about those comments in the article linked below.

Apparently, this is how it went:

Mission Control: What’s there? Mission Control calling Apollo 11.

Apollo 11:  These babies are huge, sir … enormous….Oh, God, you wouldn’t believe it! I’m telling you there are other space craft out there… lined up on the far side of the crater edge… they’re on the moon watching us. (source)

“They’re Parked on The Side of the Crater – They’re Watching Us” – When Niel Armstrong on the Moon

Why The ‘Official’ Story Behind The Moon Landing Could Be Fake & What Happened Instead

Below is a picture that comes from Corey Goode, a supposed ‘whistleblower’ from the Secret Space Program. It’s the only other source I’ve come across to mention black extraterrestrials. Bergrun is the only source with a verified, incredible, background that mentioned these beings.

The Takeaway

The takeaway here is to ask ourselves, with all of the evidence, documentation and credible witness testimony, it’s easy to see how much power and ability those who are in control of this topic have with regards to keeping it hidden from humanity. This subject is now at the forefront of many peoples minds, and that’s clear if you browse through the most popular Google searches. Interest in this subject is going to keep growing, and more people are going to continue to ask questions. As we engage, and as we continue our interest, more information will continue to leak out. The truth is, it’s all out there for any independent researcher or critical thinker to see.

The implications of this are huge, and the cover-up might not have been for humanities best interest, but to serve those who profit off of this type of secrecy, like oil companies.

The main thing to think about is the implications of this, it would leave no aspect of humanity untouched. If all of this is true, it’s quite clear that they’ve been around quite a long time, I think we can rule a real “alien invasion” out, but perhaps a fake alien invasion isn’t out of the question.

According to statistics released by the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, factories across the country produced 143,000 tons of polycrystalline silicon during the first half of this year, a year-over-year increase of 24 percent. Silicon chips manufactured soared to 50 GW during the same period, up 38.9 percent, of which, 52.7 percent were monocrystalline. Battery chips coming off production lines totaled 39 GW, up 21.9, of which, 41 percent were monocrystalline. Output of battery components reached 42 GW, up 23.5 percent.

As the Internet serves to democratize the world and enable strangers to share everything from their spare bedrooms to their personal cars through apps and websites, the trend has made its way to renewable energy startups. Specifically, crowdfunding websites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo allow innovators to break outside of the traditional model of seeking out venture capital or applying for government grants. Instead, these ambitious renewable energy projects are increasingly gathering needed startup capital by splitting the risk up among many backers willing to offer up bite-sized chunks of funding.

The way Measles is discussed in today’s world, you’d think it was similar to the black plague. We tout vaccinations for saving millions of people’s lives when it comes to the measles, and it’s likely if you were born after the measles vaccine came into the picture, you might assume the measles commonly killed people.

But are the measles truly as diseases like Ebola for example? Could we view this more as a routine childhood illness?

You’ve heard of it, a news report comes out terrifying the public about new measles outbreak that has affected 17 children in an area populated in the millions. For weeks, reporters go on about how this could spread across the entire country, affecting millions, all because someone didn’t vaccinate. Yet, that’s not the cause for the spread. It was actually the vaccinated that caused the spread. Why all the fear? Why the hysteria? Is measles even that dangerous?

I recall asking my parents and people from even older generations about the measles and what it was like when they were younger. All seemed to say it was a pretty standard and harmless childhood illness that would last a few days to a week. Some red dots, a fever maybe, and a couple days home from school In some cases, I was told stories about how it was commonplace for  people to bring their kids around other kids who had measles so they could contract it themselves and be immune to it from there forward. What? They actually wanted their kids to get the measles? Indeed.

Yet today, thanks to irrational advertising, poorly educated doctors and misinformed parents, the measles are seen as an extremely dangerous illness that should be feared at all costs. Yet it’s all conditioning.

Think about it, when you bring up vaccinations online or to some doctors, what happens? We see hysteria. Poorly backed up facts, emotional rants and personal attacks are what comes out of those questioned about vaccines. You might even be publicly shamed for bringing up such things. Little do we hear rational, calm and well backed up responses even in the face of a ton of independent science that has shown serious concerns about vaccines. Even mainstream media tells the story with hysteria and false claims.

All of this happens because of a lack of questioning, a lack of looking at the big picture and because we made something overly emotional when it’s truly about being open and rational.

We can, in part, thank the industry that brought you Vioxx, opioid addiction, Thalidomide, Thimerosal, Fen-Phen ($14 billion in damages), Diethylstilbestrol (tumors), Baycol (cholesterol drug, 100k deaths), Bextra (cousin of Vioxx, $1.8 billion in damages), Rezulin (caused hepatitis), Seldane (caused heart arrhythmia), Phenylpropanolamine, and RotaTeq as they have conditioned us to believe that Measles is a very dangerous illness.

Profit is what perpetuates this idea, not facts, nor history.

How We Used To View Measles

The video below is a truly telling example of how governments and the pharmaceutical industry has tainted the realities of the public and doctors about what the measles truly is and it’s dangers. What you see today is what happens when profit is the main factor behind products.

Clips were taken from popular television shows The Donna Reed show (1959), The Flintstones (1961), and The Brady Bunch (1969), illustrate the sheer differences between then and now. Have a look.

The internet is replete with videos and articles that purport to investigate, analyze, and explain how 9/11 is not what it has been made out to be. The difficulty is in distinguishing the sensational, speculative theories from truly evidence-based challenges to the official narrative.

It seems as though there are those who will readily believe conspiracy theories without needing much evidence, while on the other side there are those who are not comfortable with considering the official government narrative to be a lie. Those are the people who are unwilling to do even the most rudimentary research into the subject.

So one might suggest that any effort to build an evidence-based refutation of the official narrative will result in simply preaching to the converted, and that those who are not ready to shift their paradigm will resist listening to any of the evidence. Certainly, the group Architects and Engineers For 9/11 Truth have had this experience, doing presentations and trying to get more architects and engineers to join them and sign on to the contention that the official National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) findings on the collapse of the three towers on 9/11 (1, 2 and 7) is based on flawed science. Their tireless efforts to present and communicate alternative theories to their professional community has been widely met with indifference and skepticism, though bit by bit new professionals have been signing on to the idea that the towers were brought down by controlled demolitions, thus implying that this had to be an inside job with a vast network of conspirators.

Researching Is Believing

I have met and heard from many people who have been willing to research into the issue with an open mind, and the conclusion is inevitably the same: whether or not they are sure about exactly what happened to bring about the destruction on 9/11, they are sure that there is much more to it than the official story.

On the other hand, I have never met or even heard about a single person claiming to have done extensive research on the anomalies and inconsistencies of 9/11 and have a cogent explanation as to why these exist and how the official story holds up to the scrutiny of objective scientific investigation. Researching this material basically turns non-believers of this ‘conspiracy theory’ into believers. It’s as simple as that.

So why does a fully evidence-based challenge to the official narrative become important in this environment? For some in the fields of engineering and architecture, it provides an important piece of research for detailing evidence-based information to colleagues who maintain a skeptical attitude towards the possibility that the world is not as it seems. For the average person who has already realized that 9/11 is an inside job, reading and selecting information from this volume provides them with the credibility and verifiable talking points with which to continue to challenge those around them into considering that much of the official story is a lie.

9/11 Unmasked

In this book review, which informs much of the rest of this article, Dick Lowman tells us that 9/11 Unmasked is the end product of a seven-year effort by two top experts in the field who have thoroughly analyzed the available evidence and are presenting the documented and relevant material in a succinct single volume. To ensure that no aspect of their research would be overlooked or misrepresented, the authors, David Ray Griffin and Elizabeth Woodworth, assembled and employed an impressive roster of international reviewers called the 9/11 Consensus Panel. This panel, according to the book, “includes people from the fields of physics, chemistry, structural engineering, aeronautical engineering, piloting, airplane crash investigation, medicine, journalism, psychology, and religion.” Each of the panelists is identified and credited by name and qualifications.

The book also explains the purpose of the panel: “to provide the world with a clear statement, based on expert independent opinion, of some of the best evidence opposing the official narrative about 9/11.” Griffin and Woodworth set the bar very high when determining what constitutes “best evidence.” Indeed, given the 875 reference notes that document virtually every statement, it seems improbable that any valid criticism of the panel’s consensus points can ever be found.

Avoiding ‘Groupthink’

That said, critics of panels like this sometimes allege that panelists can be influenced, consciously or subconsciously, by the opinions of fellow members. The “groupthink” phenomenon, these detractors say, often comes into play, making panelists reluctant to express any opinion contrary to the group’s position. In particular, a lower ranking or passive person might mimic the opinions of a higher ranking or more aggressive member of the group.

To avoid any possibility of groupthink, the authors employ the Delphi Method as a model for achieving best-evidence consensus. This method provides all panel members with a way of sharing their honest opinions without being influenced or constrained by external sources. Questions are sent in writing to each member individually to prevent anyone from being swayed by what other members are saying. Any subject receiving less than an 85% consensus from reviewers is removed from consideration.

51 Points Of Contention

Thus far, the international team of 9/11 Consensus panelists has reached agreement on 51 points where documented evidence conclusively contradicts the official story. Each point is addressed in its own chapter, and the 51 chapters are grouped into nine categories:

  1. Destruction of the Twin Towers
  2. Destruction of WTC 7
  3. Attack on the Pentagon
  4. The 9/11 Flights [includes Flight 93]
  5. U.S. Military Exercises
  6. Claims About Military and Political Leaders
  7. Osama Bin Laden and the Hijackers
  8. Phone Calls from the 9/11 Flights
  9. The Question of Insider Trading

Each chapter is structured in a format akin to an executive summary. First, a claim that constitutes a part of the official account is summarized and presented with references to source material. The official claim is followed with facts that disprove it, and those facts are amply documented with notes at the end of the book.

One challenge the panelists face in analyzing the official account is that it is often a moving target, i.e., an evolving narrative. In nine of the 51 chapters (Chapters 11, 12, 19, 20, 29, 30, 36, 49, and 50, to be specific), the authors show how the government’s story has changed over time. In each of those chapters, they provide verifiable evidence that discredits the multiple versions.

Keeping It Objective

9/11 Unmasked stands out not only for what is included, but also for what is not included. There is no speculation about who perpetrated the attacks. Moreover, emotional subjects such as first responder cancer deaths are not mentioned. 9/11 Unmasked simply lays out the facts that show the official story cannot be true.

Any one of the 51 chapters, by itself, presents ample evidence to disprove the official account. When all 51 are taken together, the evidence is overwhelming and the conclusion inevitable: A new, independent investigation of 9/11 is imperative.

In the technical world, executive summaries of research are typically presented in one or two paragraphs. The events of 9/11 are so complex, so far-reaching, that one or two paragraphs on any aspect of the subject hardly suffices. Yet Griffin and Woodworth’s 308-page book might rightly be considered an executive summary of their many years of research, presented as a non-political, non-controversial compilation of facts.

9/11 Unmasked is destined to be the Bible, the foundation, the go-to source of future research. It belongs on the bookshelf of anyone who has nagging questions about what really happened on September 11, 2001. And it will surely be on the desk of each and every government official who might one day be tasked with reinvestigating that monumental event.

The Takeaway

Perhaps no other event is as emblematic of the search for truth in the Awakening Community as 9/11. It should be obvious to us that it would take extremely powerful forces to be able to keep this highly flawed official narrative in place, and prevent a new and objective investigation from ever taking place.

Is there is a deeper reason that the truth has not been revealed yet, that the timing depends on the stage we are at in our collective awakening? Perhaps each of us still needs to be provided opportunities to proliferate the truth and play our part in the great awakening. In that regard, books like 9/11 Unmasked serve as yet another valuable tool in our toolbox.

Life abounds with stress-making, havoc-provoking mayhem. Did you misplace your keys when you were already late for work this morning? Was traffic worse today than after a 5-car accident on a Los Angeles turnpike? Is your boss expecting the impossible from you, while you stare into your kid’s eyes and choke back tears explaining you’re going to have to miss their game–again?

In these moments, you need a fast, effective method to chill the heck out. This simple exercise can calm you down and eliminate stress in three minutes or less.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

A Stealth Breathing Technique Used by Navy Seals and First Responders

The best thing about this breathing technique is that no-one will even know you’re doing it.

It is used by first responders, Navy Seals, and people who are regularly under massive amounts of stress because it has a direct, palpable, and positive effect on the way their nervous systems function.

If you were to pick someone up in an ambulance from one of those LA traffic pile-ups, you don’t have time to freak out. Maybe they won’t live. You have seconds sometimes, to make smart choices that could possibly keep them breathing long enough to get them to a hospital.

Every fiber of your being has evolved over time to signal danger. This is part of your body’s fight-or-flight response.

Counteracting the Fight or Flight Response

When faced with danger or any perceived threat, you instinctively default to two choices: Run or fight.

A cascade of chemical reactions occurs the minute a stressful situation presents itself. This is how the body mobilizes its resources to deal with a threat. It doesn’t matter if it is a lion about to pounce on you–as our ancestors had to deal with–or that one last email that finally breaks you. Your natural response to stress will be the same until you learn how to interrupt it.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

The sympathetic nervous systems will trigger the adrenal glands to release catecholamines, which include adrenaline and noradrenaline. This causes your heart to pound, your blood pressure to rise, and your breathing rate to speed up.

Your pupils may dilate, and your skin may flush. In extreme stress, your muscles tense up–literally preparing you to run away from the dangerous trigger.

Modern-day triggers are so varied and pervasive, we are almost never in a state of calm.

After a stressful event, it can take up to 45 minutes for your body to return to homeostasis.

That’s why a simple breathing exercise can literally save your life, and retrain you to face stressful situations like a seasoned, meditating monk instead of a raging lunatic.

Cynthia Stonnington, chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Psychology at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, says she introduces people to breathwork because “many people find benefit, no one reports side effects, and it’s something that engages the patient in their recovery with actively doing something.”

Breathwork is in fact, so useful, that one study published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine in 2017 found that patients with major depression who practiced deep breathing methods for three months had significantly reduced symptoms as compared to those who did not.

Another study found that our breathing is so closely linked to our emotional state, that changing it can practically negate anxiety completely.

How it Works

Sometimes called box-breathing, you can really use any form of deep, present and conscious breathing to change your physiological response to stress.

Most of us breathe in an unconscious, stress-promoting way. Here’s what happens when you breathe deeply, and correctly for just a few minutes:

    • An exhale that is longer than your inhale (deep breathing) causes the vagus nerve which runs from the neck down through your diaphragm to relay a message to your brain to turn down your sympathetic nervous system and turn up your parasympathetic nervous system–the part of your nervous system responsible for rest, relaxation, peace, and digestion.
    • This counteracts the adrenal dump and flight-or-fight response.
    • Your brain is freed to make smart choices based on relaxed concentration, a state known as Alpha that is seen on EEG scans as neural oscillations in the frequency range of 5–12.5 Hz arising from synchronous and coherent (in phase or constructive) brain activity.
    • Alpha waves caused by a deep-breathing pattern create a positive feedback loop that restores harmony between your mind and body.
    • This brainwave state is also indicative of those ‘aha’ or ‘eureka’ moments of a compelling new idea, or insane creativity. They allow you to literally create something out of nothing. And when do you need to do that most often? When you are faced with a challenging or stressful situation!
How to Do It

You can start with a box breath and expand into larger inhale-exhale ratios.

A box breath is a simple inhale to the count of four, using your diaphragm. You then exhale for a slow count of four.

Be sure you expand your lungs completely, and fill them as much as you can. If your shoulders are shrugging into your ears, you are likely doing a ‘stress-breath’ which only keeps you in the fight-or-flight stage. This is a shallow breath that we normally do when we are agitated or depressed.

Your stomach should expand, not just your lungs. This is because your diaphragm is moving down into your belly to allow your lungs to expand more fully.

Once you can do this, you will change the ratio. You will start with a 4:8 inhale to exhale ratio and then move to 8:16, 10:20, 22:44, or even 30:80 etc.

You don’t have to be advanced to get all the benefits of deep breathing. Simply have enough awareness to take control of your breath the next time a stressful situation arises, and you’ll be feeling less anxious, and calmer.

It’s that simple. You can breathe yourself into peace, in three minutes or less.

What we have succeeded in doing (without necessarily meaning to) is creating a completely ‘dishonest’ environment for ourselves to live in. We all heard about ‘fake news’ but what this amounts to is a fake world. We can make a very obvious statement at this point and that is to say that ‘living in a fundamentally dishonest environment is without any doubt going to be psychologically harmful for us’! This might seem like too obvious a point to make but we need to make it all the same because it’s such a vitally important one – it’s a vitally important point that we never actually pay any attention to! We might spend money in a health food store or go to the gym twice a week or practice yoga or meditation but we never seem to give any thought to the fact that our actual environment is fundamentally dishonest, and therefore toxic

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

I’m not making a metaphysical point here about the illusoriness of the world or anything like that – what I’m talking about is the fundamentally deceptive nature of the communications we surround ourselves with. Just to give one example – it is abundantly obvious that we are living in a world that is completely dominated by advertisements of one sort or another. Everything is an advert for something! This is therefore just another way of saying that the reality we are presented with on all sides is dishonest – it’s not what it seems to be. Everything we see or read is propaganda for the system that is being daily foisted upon us!

Adverts are ‘dishonest’ because they always claim to be something about something else than what they’re actually about – the day has long since passed when adverts were purely and simply about providing information about a product. We have moved on a long way since that day. The science of advertising relies on the fact that we are very easily manipulated by ‘unconscious associations’, implications which are there, but which don’t need to be spelt out. These associations work on us without us knowing that we are being worked on. This is just the same as saying that ‘adverts work by manipulation’, which is very obviously true – no one is going to be foolish enough to try to deny this!

The one way we could agree that this is true but say that it’s not really a big deal either – we know that ads are about manipulation, but so what? We have got used it to this stage and presumably we all feel that we’re immune to it. Where advertising surely does become a problem however is when the whole world becomes one giant advert, one giant ‘promotional exercise for itself,’ as John Berger says here –

“Publicity has another important social function. The fact that this function has not been planned as a purpose by those who make and use publicity in no way lessens its significance. Publicity turns consumption into a substitute for democracy. The choice of what one eats (or wears or drives) takes the place of significant political choice. Publicity helps to mask and compensate for all that is undemocratic within society. And it also masks what is happening in the rest of the world. Publicity adds up to a kind of philosophical system. It explains everything in its own terms. It interprets the world.

The entire world becomes a setting for the fulfillment of publicity’s promise of the good life. The world smiles at us. It offers itself to us. And because everywhere is imagined as offering itself to us, everywhere is more or less the same. …”

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

So how could we say that it’s not a ‘big deal’ when our whole environment is designed to manipulate us and there’s nothing left in it that’s at all honest? Surely we must realise that there are bound to be seriously adverse psychological consequences to living in a world that’s nothing more than ‘an advert for itself’!

If we grew up surrounded by people who always had an ulterior motive, who were always duplicitous, who never did anything without a hidden agenda, then our mental health would of course suffer as a result – we’d be in need of an awful lot of therapy in that case! The same is true therefore when we live in an environment is always comes with an ulterior motive, an environment which always carries some kind of ‘disguised coercive element’. The usual way is for us to be more or less oblivious to the coercive (or controlling) aspect of our environment, and unaware of the all-pervading dishonesty of the type of communications that make up the world we have to live in, and so this means that we are ‘unfree without knowing that we are’. Apparently, this very peculiar set-up seems to work; apparently, we can get by perfectly well this way!

There is a problem here however even if we can’t see it – there’s a problem especially if we can’t see it! In order to accommodate ourselves to this invisibly coercive and deceptive world we have to live on a very superficial level, and this is fundamentally unnatural and therefore unhealthy for us. It has harmful consequences. Human beings are not naturally superficial; we not naturally lacking in curiosity about the world. All we need to do in order to appreciate this is to look at children – children are (of course) full of curiosity, full of questions. Adults – on the other hand – aren’t! As adults (oddly enough) we seem to swallow whatever line in nonsense it is that is being fed to us at the time. Well go along with anything. The alternative seems to be just too frightening for us!

So the ‘problem’ that we are looking at here is the problem – we might say – of compulsory superficiality. We are given no choice in this matter – were pushed into this extraordinary limited state of being from all sides. We don’t know that this fate has befallen us (we have no way of knowing it) but the quality of our lives has been degraded all the same. Another crucial aspect of this ‘compulsive superficiality’ that were talking about is that we don’t have any genuine volition. If we are being swayed by superficial appearances the whole time then how can we possibly be said to have any genuine volition of our own? This is clearly an impossibility.

We can put all of this together – therefore – by saying that we have created the world for ourselves which, rather than being based on the principle of truth, is based purely upon the principle of deception. We so used to this that we think nothing of it – our eyes are accustomed to the insincerity and so we pay it no heed. As Matthieu Ricard says,

“We are very much like birds that have lived too long in a cage to which we return even when we get the chance to fly away. We have grown so accustomed to our faults that we can barely imagine what life would be like without them. The prospect of change makes us dizzy.”

In this world it’s not about what’s true, it’s about what seems to be true. It’s about ‘image rather than content’. We all know this very well – who’s actually going to deny? The question we’re asking here is ‘What effect is it actually going to have on us to be living in such a world?’ One answer is to say that the consequences of this state of affairs is that we become completely gullible, i.e. ‘100% manipulable by external controlling factors’. We do what we told to do and we believe what we’re told to believe, and what this comes down to is a complete lack of autonomy. We have ‘lost ourselves,’ in other words. We’ve lost ourselves completely. It is one thing to have autonomy and find yourself in a world that is trying to manipulate you (or amongst people who are trying to manipulate you) and quite another to have never had that autonomy and to live in a world whose very basis is manipulation and coercion!

This is such an extraordinary thing to contemplate – we have created a world that denies us, a world that is against us! It isn’t the case either – I would say that this world is ‘bad for most of us but is good for a small minority’, which is what it looks like on the surface, admittedly. What we’re looking at here is a fundamentally unfair system, it is true, but even the so-called ‘winners’ in this game aren’t winning anything worth having! By denying others we deny ourselves, after all. By controlling each other we are just as bound as our victims by our need to control. It’s actually the business of ‘playing the game’ that denies us, not whether we win or lose, which is of course what we are brought up to believe. ‘Playing the game’ denies us because by always striving for personal advantage (which is what we have been brought up to do) we turn our backs on our true compassionate nature, and if this isn’t a recipe for misery and frustration then nothing is!

We can only truly be ourselves by being compassionate – as all the great Wisdom Traditions tell us – to try to find meaning in life by being selfish and manipulative and competitive (which is what our society demands of us, whether we see it or not) is a road to nowhere! Meaning in life doesn’t come from being good at controlling, from being a ‘winner in the game’, but from nourishing the imagination, nourishing the creative and compassionate side of ourselves. Our true nature is incomparably greater than we have been led to believe that it is, but we are afraid to find that out, and this fear drives all sorts of toxicity.

Nick Williams – I work as an occupational therapist in acute psychiatry in the West of Ireland, and have done for the last 25 yrs. Before training to be an occupational therapist I graduated from the University of Kent with a degree in Health Education and Natural Science, and before that I was unemployed in South London for 15 years. The part of my current work that I enjoy the most is running a community creative writing group and a number of mindfulness groups. I am a keen blogger on the topic of ‘alternative approaches to mental health’ because I believe that the conventional approach in psychiatry does not respect the healing process that is always going on in us and simply tries to return people to a ‘standardized’ form of mental health. I feel that a lot of the chronic mental distress in the modern world comes from the artificial constraints that society puts on our consciousness and are not due to a type of ‘illness process’, as psychiatry suggests. I also give talks and run workshops on ‘nonduality and mental health’. Please visit my blog Negative Therapy and intrinsicspace.me

Our solar system is fascinating, to say the least, and there is still so much we don’t know about it. What makes one even more curious is knowing the organizations and people who operate at the highest levels of ‘security clearances’ probably know a whole lot more. That being said, if you’re independently curious, there are more than enough resources available to satisfy your curiosity, you will find a way to investigate. At the very least you could get access to the best telescope you have and stare at the other planets, our Moon, and the Moons of other planets.

Perhaps the best thing to do is simply sift through the literature and you will find no shortage of strange anomalies that have been discovered in space -there’s truly no shortage. It’s also likely you will come across the tremendous amounts of controversy that come with these discoveries as well. Strange findings have been subject to ridicule within the mainstream, but that hasn’t stopped hundreds, if not thousands, of researchers and insiders from all backgrounds from continuing their study and education.

The Face On Mars Example

The Face on Mars is a good example of anomalies and ridicule. It has been the subject of several published papers that clearly show a high chance of artificial construction. Carl Sagan was even accused by his colleague, physicist and NASA astronaut Dr. Brian O’Leary for covering up the fact that ‘they’ knew the Face on Mars was artificial.

Today, it’s a much different story, and it appears that there is no doubt that life once flourished on Mars prior to the massive climate shift which occurred there that made it what it is today. Not many people know that Mars was once very Earth-like, with vast oceans, mountain ranges and greenery. Little did we know that there may have been a very intelligent civilization there, and still might be, perhaps within in.

A paper published in the Jornal Scientific Exploration was one of the latest to examine the Cydonia region on Mars. As the authors point out, “it validates the earlier measurements obtained using the lower resolution NASA Viking images, which hinted strongly at artificial surface interventions.” The key word there is artificial surface interventions. There are pyramids and faces on Mars, similar and in some cases, larger than those found here on planet Earth. I’ve written about that in detail, providing numerous sources that can be found in the articles linked below.

Our Own Moon

Then we have the Moon, which has also been the subject of recent peer-reviewed research. On more than one occasion, researchers have found what appears to be strange, and large, artificial structures on the back side of the Moon, the side we can never see unless we send probes and astronauts around it. To compliment all of the information regarding the Moon, we have statements from a number of credible sources in the form of witness testimony, from high ranking intelligence and military people etc. It’s safe to say that something strange is happening on the Moon. I do believe we went there, but I also believe what we were shown and told was heavily sanitized. Let’s not forget about Buzz Aldrin being so outspoken about a “Monolyth on the (one of the) moon of Mars.”

You can read more in detail about that in the articles linked below.

Iapetus, Perhaps The Most Puzzling

Which brings me to the topic of this article, Iapetus, one of Saturn’s moons. What’s unique about it is the fact that it has what appears to be a huge mountainous ridge that measures up to 20 kilometres tall, twice the size of Everest, and approximately 200 kilometres thick. It can be seen running exactly along the equator for well over three-quarters of the moon’s entire circumference, but it’s safe to assume around the entire planet. It was discovered in 2004, early in the Cassini mission.

First, let me set the stage. Iapetus is bizarre in a lot of ways. It has a yin-yang surface of dark and bright material. It is unexpectedly flat pole-to-pole. It seems to have an excessive number of large impact basins. And it has a mountainous ridge, up to 20 kilometres tall, running exactly along its equator for well over three-quarters of its entire circumference. The existence of this ridge was revealed very early in the Cassini mission, in an encounter at the end of 2004. – Jim Mars, Our Occulted History

The ‘ridge’ on Iapetus.

A number of prominent researchers and scientists have hypothesized that our own Moon is artificial in nature (read more about that in the links provided above), as so they have done with other Moons, like Ipateus. That being said, we don’t hear much about these theories & the credibility of the people behind them. They’re completely ignored by the mainstream simply because they don’t fit within the mainstream narrative which is nothing more than a theory in itself.

When talking about Saturn in general, Norman Bergrun comes to mind. Dr. He states that something extraterrestrial could be creating the rings of Saturn in an interesting interview with Project Camelot.

In the interview, he also reveals images he has seen regarding the Moon landings and an extraterrestrial presence. He referred to them as tall black people, very dark.

Moving back to Ipateus, Jim Mars points out in his Our Occulted History that it’s one of the moons of Saturn that’s considered by many researchers to be artificial. He writes:

Iapetus the planet’s thrid largest moon, has puzzled researchers since its discovery by Italian astronomer Giovaccini Domenico Cassini in 1671. Like our own moon, Iapetus is in a near perfect circular orbit and one side always faces its planetary host. But even more pubblin are suare and hexagonal ctaters that, according to one former NASA employee, appear to be gigantic artifical plantes holding the moon together, maaking Iapetus resemble nothing so much as the Death Star in George Lucas’s film Star Wars.

The point is, no one can adequately explain this huge, and what appears to be the tallest mountain range in our entire Solar System, as far as we know. It’s impossible to hypothesize exactly how it was formed and why it’s confined, exactly, to the equator. The cause of the moon’s unusual inclined orbital plane is also completely unknown. This is the common theme you will find among planetary scientists regarding these pictures.

Here’s what Bergrun published about Ipateus.

You can go on to read more here. He was adamant late in his life about getting the truth out regarding extraterrestrial ‘things’ happening around Saturn and its moons.

Authors Tobias Owen and Donald Goldsmith hypothesized that “The unusual moon is the only object in the solar system which we might seriously regard as an alien signpost…a natural object deliberately modified by an advanced civilization to attract our attention.”

The same has been hypothesized, again, about our own Moon as Carl Sagan once pointed out:

It is not out of the question that artifacts of these visits still exist, or even that some kind of base is maintained (possibly automatically) within the solar system to provide continuity for successive expeditions. Because of weathering and the possibility of detection and interference by the inhabitants of the Earth, it would be preferable not to erect such a base on the Earth’s surface. The Moon seems one reasonable alternative. Forthcoming high resolution photographic reconnaissance of the Moon from space vehicles – particularly of the back side – might bear these possibilities in mind. (source)

The Deputy Manager for the 95 Clementine Mission to the Moon said it was really a reconnaissance mission to check out the bases on the back side of the Moon (Brandenburg, linked in Moon articles above).  In 1962 NASA scientist Gordon MacDonald published a paper stating it’s more likely that the moon is hollow than not. MIT’s Sean C. Solomon furthered this statement citing knowledge of the moon’s gravitation field as evidence for the assertion.

So yes, strange things seem to be going on in our solar system, especially with moons. The name Iapetus is interesting, I often wonder about Greek mythology, and other areas like anthropology, and how much information has been kept from us. Things are clearly not as we’ve been told. If we ever openly go to these places in our solar system we could all imagine jaw-dropping discoveries would be made. Perhaps the black budget world already has made some, perhaps we’re not even allowed up!

The Takeaway

Anytime I write about anything extraterrestrial, it’s always to encourage others to think about the implications of contact or the realization that we are not alone, and have never been alone. The extraterrestrial hypothesis as an explanation of the UFO phenomenon is valid for many reasons, because it’s the one that seems to hold the most evidence.

At the end of the day, our planet and its well-being is what we really need to focus on, and perhaps looking at Earth from an extraterrestrial perspective ourselves, if we could all beam up in spaceships, would perhaps change the way we look at the planet and ourselves as a human race. Perhaps this greater realization may contribute to a big change in perspective that we need right now in order to change our world. Who knows. the implications touch all aspects of humanity.

Knowing how to identify your brainwave state is the first step in consciously shifting it. All of our thoughts, emotions and behaviors are rooted in the communication between neurons. Naturally occurring brain chemicals influence our moods but there is also an electrical component associated with brainwave frequency that is worth exploring.

Our brainwave state controls our ability to focus and many other important functions in our lives. Knowing how to identify your brainwave state is the first step in empowering you to consciously shift these patterns as needed throughout the day.

You have your very own signature brain wave activity, unique to you. It has a rhythm and pattern – and it incorporates Beta, Alpha, Theta, and Delta frequencies at varying levels over the course of a day as your brain modulates them to match your activities. Brain Sync audio programs amplify a single frequency or a carefully balanced combination of frequencies to achieve a specific purpose. – Tools for Wellness

Understanding How We Perceive The World Around Us

Science greatly enhances our ability to navigate our biological existence as well as the world that we perceive around us. The places where science and spirituality converge are perhaps some of the most exciting parts about living at this time in history.

People have meditated, used music, dance, and art for millennia to alter consciousness. Thanks to a German physiologist and psychiatrist named Hans Berger we now have a device called an electroencephalogram (EEG) which has the ability to measure and record the wave frequency of electrical activity in the brain.

Each of the millions of neurological synapses in our brain operate on electrical impulses which create an overall frequency. The frequency (wave-length) can be fast or slow, harmonious or discordant but whatever it happens to be will affect your consciousness dramatically. Luckily these waves can now be measured and we are able to induce desired states of consciousness and become masters of our own biology rather than servants to it.

Biomusicology has used the EEG to show how certain external rhythms can cause entrainment of brainwaves. This idea has been applied with biofeedback, binaural beats, and other advanced forms of technology but it is basically rooted in the ancient idea of the shaman’s drum.

Music can alter consciousness and there are now many products on the market designed to help people acquaint themselves with different brain states if you don’t have a local shaman.

The acoustic stimulation of rhythmic drumming acts as an auditory driving mechanism, affecting the electrical activity of the brain by bringing it into resonance (at a particular frequency or set of frequencies) with external stimuli. – Music, Science, and the Rhythmic Brain: Cultural and Clinical Implications

Brainwave States

The Basic Brainwave States

Alpha is about relaxation, imagination, visualization. This slow cycle of brain wave is 7-12 HZ (beats per second) is also associated with peace, safety and is a great state of mind for relieving stress. It is also present when people watch movies or television. It is considered a gateway to deeper realms of consciousness and the Schuman Resonance which is the resonant frequency of the earth’s electromagnetic field. This state is essential to well-being.

Beta is mostly associated with concentration, cognition, alertness, and focus. This state of mind allows you to make connections quickly and come up with solutions and ideas. It is great for creative projects and also a great state of mind for sports or physical activity that requires focused attention. The Beta wave rate is between 13-40 HZ (beats per second).

Theta is the state associated meditation, intuition, memory and was first noticed when EEG was applied to meditating monks. This mystical realm is elusive and mysterious since brain activity slows almost to the point of sleep, but not quite. This state brings heightened receptivity, visions, flashes of dreamlike imagery, inspiration, and your buried memories.

Delta clocks in at about 0-4 HZ. and is pretty much where we go when we are in a deep sleep. This state is crucial for the restoration of the body and healing. Delta has to do with the subconscious, the place where intuition arises.

Gamma is hyperspeed, above 40 HZ. and it is the most recently discovered frequency. Little is known about this state of mind, but initial research shows Gamma waves are associated with high-level information processing and bursts of insight. Perhaps we are evolving to adapt with our fast paced, technology-driven world?

Creating the Reality we Desire

As you can see, each of these states of consciousness are essential for our well-being. One thing to consider is that we don’t shift instantaneously, sometimes there are periods when we are somewhere between states.

There is a whole lot to explore when we consider some of the research concerning the ways that heart frequency affects brain states, and the ways that we can influence each others frequencies.

Science, art, and spirituality will help us raise our consciousness to address whatever challenges we may face. With these tools we can take charge in our lives and create the reality that we desire.

“If you wish to keep slaves, you must have all kinds of guards. The cheapest way to have guards is to have the slaves pay taxes to finance their own guards. To fool the slaves, you tell them that they are not slaves and that they have Freedom. You tell them they need Law and Order to protect them against bad slaves. Then you tell them to elect a Government. Give them Freedom to vote and they will vote for their own guards and pay their salary. They will then believe they are Free persons. Then give them money to earn, count and spend and they will be too busy to notice the slavery they are in.” ~Alexander Warbucks

Who the hell is Alexander Warbucks? Nobody knows. He wrote this article, How I Manage My Slaves, back in 1978, and nothing before or since. For the purposes of this article, we’re going to break down his opening quote and discover ways to avoid slavery.

Basically, the best way to manage slaves is to convince them that they are free so that they don’t rebel against a corrupt system, and so that they diligently work for the system no matter how sick it makes them. This is one of those rare occasions where it is easier done than said.

And it’s being done, en masse, the world over. It takes the seemingly benign form of statism. But it is most definitely malignant in that it tricks people into slavery by lording comfort, security, safety and the illusion of freedom over their heads, and by being irresponsible with its overreaching power.

In short: the best way to manage slaves is to erect a state, and to declare that state almighty by forcing people to consent to its law and order no matter how unreasonable, unjust, or violent that law and order may be.

Statism creates massive societies made up of people who are mostly ignorant, lazy, cowardly and indifferent to political underhandedness. As long as they are comfortable, safe, and secure in their immoderate bliss they don’t care about policy. Because of such ignorance, laziness, and cowardice, statists (soft slaves) prefer the certitude of psychological chains over the ambiguity and tension of real freedom. Hence the proclivity toward soft-slave statism rather than the hard work of maintaining freedom.

Here are five ways to avoid becoming (or remaining) a soft salve…

Don’t ask for permission to be free:

“I must create a system or be enslaved by another Man’s.” ~William Blake

Become a free-range human. The path from soft-slave statist to free-range human is difficult, but, as Spinoza stated, “All things excellent are as difficult as they are rare.”

A soft-slave statist is anyone who believes they need a ruler to rule over them, who thinks they need permission to be free, who blindly worships a flag, and who believes violence is the answer to solving problems.

A free-range human, on the other hand, rules over him/herself, does not need permission to be free, does not worship a flag, and thinks that violence is only necessary when used in self-defense or in defense of those not capable of defending themselves.

Besides that, free-range humans practice the following core principles: the golden rule, the nonaggression principle, the art of fighting without fighting, radical forgiveness, and radical interconnectedness (interdependence over independence over codependence).

Don’t pay for the guards to guard you:

“I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do. I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.” ~Robert A. Heinlein

The only time you should pay the guards to guard you is if you are incapable of guarding yourself.

If, as Stefan Molyneux said, “The law is an opinion with a gun,” then it stands to reason that we should check untenable opinions with a tenable solution. Privatized defense-minded policing is that solution.

It is based upon the reasonable precept that for any free human who is unable to protect themselves or their property –whether due to lack of skills, an ailment, age, or even cowardice– they (or their loved ones) are free to hire a defense-minded police force to help protect them and their property.

Important caveat: Defense is primary. Defense is key.

As long as the hired police force remains defense-minded and does not become offense-minded by forcing their values, ideals, rules, or laws onto others, then it can be a morally tenable means of policing.

Simply put: Healthy policing is an extension of healthy self-defense. Defense turned violent and overreaching is no longer about self-preservation. Similarly, policing turned violent and overreaching is no longer about protecting and serving. Physical violence should only ever be used in self-defense and never as a means toward enforcing one’s values, rules, or laws onto others, no matter how popular they are.

Learn self-defense and honor the nonaggression principle:

“Too much of the animal distorts the civilized man, too much civilization makes sick animals.” ~Jung

Don’t be a sick animal. Also, don’t become so distorted that you lose your humanity.

Non-consensual, state-created social contracts might as well be toilet paper for all they’re worth. The only social contracts that matter, in the grand scheme of things, are those governed by universal law: the golden rule and the nonaggression principle. Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself, and don’t be a violent idiot. That’s it.

Easy, right? Nope.

Statism has to come it and fuck it all up. As Nietzsche profoundly stated, “State is the name of the coldest of all cold monsters. Coldly it lies; and this lie slips from its mouth: ‘I, the state, am the people.’” The state is not the people. It’s the illusion of a people. People are made up of individuals. Individuality is predicated upon freedom. Therefore, a free individual should not tolerate the overreaching tyranny of the state which seeks to turn free individuality into a lawful collective.

Learning how to defend yourself, your loved ones, and your property is the single best way to avoid becoming a slave and to maintain your freedom. Learning the art of fighting without fighting is the second best. The only reason it isn’t the best is because you will still need to know how to defend yourself when it doesn’t work.

Infuse your freedom with loving kindness, compassionate tolerance, and radical forgiveness and avoid cruelty, violence, and hindering the freedom of others. But, if others should attempt to be violent or hinder your freedom, practice the art of fighting without fighting first and, if that fails, practice self-defense as a last resort.

Don’t vote in, vote out: Voting with your feet:

“If you vote, you have no right to complain.” ~George Carlin

The next best thing to direct-democracy sortition is voting with your feet. Since almost every democracy across the world is far from being evolved enough to have a system of sortition, the best way to progressively evolve toward a healthier system is to vote out rather than vote in, and to always vote with your feet.

What does vote out rather than vote in mean? It means only voting when it serves the purpose of checking power and never voting when it gives someone, anyone, too much power. Simply put: a healthy democracy votes out bad leaders and bad seeds, an unhealthy democracy gives you the illusion of choice between bad leaders and bad seeds (or the lesser of two evils).

What does voting with your feet mean? It means putting your foot down and being a proactive citizen. It means becoming your own politician, despite career politicians. It means turning the tables on the Powers That Be by hitting the streets and creating a little civil disobedience that shames and mocks the current power dynamic and untenable status quo. It means voting with your money and using it to move things forward in the political direction that best moves us toward a healthy and progressive evolution for our species.

Don’t rely on government; govern yourself:

“I have as much authority as the Pope. I just don’t have as many people who believe it.” ~George Carlin

Become your own authority: an author of self. Learn self-rule over being ruled.

Decide you are a leader. Own it. Take control of the narrative by creating the narrative and then have the confidence to declare to any and all so-called authorities that you cannot be owned and that you own yourself.

The only thing more important than owning yourself is using that ownership to maintain a healthy world. Interdependence over independence over codependence is the key. Becoming your own authority for the sake of the whole is becoming the tip of the spear for a healthy and progressive evolution of our species; and using that spear to strike at the heart at any corrupt system (corrupt power) that seeks to hinder the freedom of people through violence, slavery or tyranny.

Real leaders don’t follow power; they learn how to turn the tables on power, even their own, so that power does not corrupt. Real leaders don’t kowtow to “the law,” tyranny or authoritarian rule; they question it, despite the “rank and order” and outdated narrative that props it up. Real leaders have the courage to do what it takes to maintain truth, health and freedom. Even if it is unpopular. Even if it means shame, a loss of reputation, incarceration, or death.

As the now famous graffito said: “When freedom is outlawed, only outlaws will be free.”

Propaganda experts have long admitted that the “big lie” is an important tool for molding public opinion. A psychological profile of Hitler carried out by the U.S. Office of Strategic Services noted that one of the German leader’s “primary rules” was that “people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one” and “if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.”

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) appears to agree that a big and oft-repeated lie is a powerful public relations tool, because in August, its Immunization Safety Office posted a fact sheet that once again insists that “thimerosal in vaccines is not harmful to children,” despite ample evidence to the contrary. The fact sheet trots out the same handful of thimerosal-related studies (“conducted by CDC or with CDC’s involvement”) that it has used for years to silence thimerosal critics. Fortunately, multiple resource pages on the Children’s Health Defense website make it easy to rebut the CDC’s regurgitated falsehoods. Our website provides a thimerosal FAQ, information dispelling myths about thimerosal’s use in vaccines and countering false vaccine safety claims (including claims about thimerosal), analysis of the flawed studies that the CDC relies on to exonerate thimerosal from any role in the childhood epidemics of neurodevelopmental disorders—and more. Below, we summarize three of the most obvious reasons to ignore the CDC’s latest attempt to pull the wool over the public’s eyes.

The handful of CDC-funded or CDC-approved studies listed in the thimerosal fact sheet stand in sharp contrast to research conducted by independent researchers over the past 75+ years that have consistently found Thimerosal to be harmful…

Still dangerous and neurotoxic

The CDC says “the evidence is clear” that thimerosal is “merely a preservative” and not a neurotoxin. However, no one who actually takes the time to examine the scientific literature can rationally conclude that mercury in any form—including the mercury in thimerosal—is safe for humans. The handful of CDC-funded or CDC-approved studies listed in the thimerosal fact sheet stand “in sharp contrast to research conducted by independent researchers over the past 75+ years that have consistently found Thimerosal to be harmful”; this independent research has linked thimerosal to “neurodevelopmental disorders, …tics, …speech delay, language delay, attention deficit disorder, and autism.” Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s book, Thimerosal: Let the Science Speak, describes hundreds of peer-reviewed scientific publications and the “broad consensus among research scientists that Thimerosal is a dangerous neurotoxin.”

The CDC falsely claims that “thimerosal was taken out of childhood vaccines in the United States in 2001.” However, 25 micrograms of thimerosal remain in many of the influenza vaccines administered in the U.S., including to pregnant women and infants. In fact, “thimerosal wasn’t so much removed as it was moved around.”

All eight studies included in the CDC fact sheet involve lead or co-authors accused of fraud or known to have been involved in behind-closed-doors data manipulation or weighed down by serious conflicts of interest.

Fraudulent authors

All eight studies included in the CDC fact sheet involve lead or co-authors accused of fraud or known to have been involved in behind-closed-doors data manipulation or weighed down by serious conflicts of interest. Dr. William Thompson, who authored three of the studies in his former capacity as a senior CDC vaccine safety scientist, made a whistleblower deposition to Congressman William Posey and issued statements through his personal attorney about fraud and destruction of data at the CDC. In one of his most egregious examples, Thompson reported that his bosses, including Branch Chief Frank DeStefano (an author on three of the studies included in the fact sheet), ordered Thompson and other CDC scientists to get rid of data demonstrating vaccine-induced autism. As described previously by Children’s Health Defense:

“DeStefano called his four co-authors into a room and ordered them to dump the damning datasets into a giant garbage can. The published study omitted those datasets.”

The bulk of Thompson’s whistleblowing revelations occurred in 40-plus phone conversations and over 10,000 pages of documents shared with Dr. Brian Hooker. In those conversations, Thompson also stated that CDC officials “worked hard” to “dilute Dr. Thompson’s strong and statistically significant finding…that thimerosal exposure via infant vaccines causes tics in boys.” In fact, Thompson asked Hooker to “start a campaign to publicize the fact that multiple CDC-sanctioned publications show that thimerosal causes tics.”

In addition to the studies authored by Thompson and DeStefano, two of the papers held out by the CDC as definitive proof of thimerosal’s innocence are 2003 studies authored by Thomas Verstraeten and Paul Stehr-Green—two participants at the infamous secret meeting held in Simpsonwood in 2000 to discuss the relationship between exposure to thimerosal-containing vaccines and neurological damage in children. Both Verstraeten and Stehr-Green were heavily involved in trying to make a clear association between thimerosal and neurodevelopmental effects seem unimportant. Although the Verstraeten study nonetheless went on to report “statistically significant associations between thimerosal and language delays and tics,” the CDC fact sheet dismisses the associations as “weak” and “not consistent.”

Massaged data

As outlined previously by Children’s Health Defense and others, and as indicated in the preceding sections, there are a variety of reasons not to trust the results of the eight studies included in the CDC fact sheet—including CDC funding and other conflicts of interest as well as erroneous and fraudulent reporting of data. The table below summarizes the studies’ major problems.

1. http://www.sciencelab.com/msds.php?msdsId=9926486
2. The CDC fact sheet includes the Stehr-Green study twice, formatting the study slightly differently in each of the two rows; although the duplication is immediately apparent to the attentive reader, a casual reader might conclude that the CDC had nine rather than eight studies at its disposal.

Lacking credibility

At this juncture, with over 80 studies connecting the dots between thimerosal and autism alone, and new studies appearing every day that link other vaccine ingredients such as aluminum to the chronic illness epidemics beleaguering today’s children, the CDC has lost all credibility when it makes poorly substantiated claims about thimerosal or vaccine safety. An agency that buys and sells well over $4 billion of vaccines annually clearly has a vested interest in tamping down any discussion of vaccine risks. Fortunately, the public increasingly recognizes that the CDC’s “fact sheets” lies must be read with a large grain of salt.
