We are surrounded by screens full of voices that are always lying to us, and experts wonder why we’re so crazy and miserable all the time.

The screens tell us, “This is a perfectly normal and sane way of doing things. It is perfectly normal and sane to strip the earth bare and poison the air and the water in an economic system which requires infinite growth on a finite planet. People who say otherwise are raving lunatics!” And the social engineers wonder why there’s increasing disaffection and alienation among the populace.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

The screens tell us, “Just spend your time in this world turning the gears of the machine and you will be happy. The machine is your friend. The machine takes care of you. Work hard pulling its levers and greasing its cogs until you are old and you will gain satisfaction,” and then they wonder why we’re all gobbling up antidepressants like candy.

The screens tell us, “We need to drop explosives on Nation X because they need Freedom and Democracy. We know we said that about Nation Y and Nation Z and that went terribly wrong, but that’s because it wasn’t managed properly. Trust that it is good and proper for the citizens of Nation X to be killed with bombs and bullets,” and then they wonder why people keep snapping and committing mass shootings.

The screens tell us, “You are crazy and stupid if you want a functioning healthcare system. Are you trying to put our billionaires and military out of business?” and then they wonder why people are becoming paranoid and angry.

The screens tell us, “Look at that gibbering maniac trying to get a third party up and running in the most powerful nation in the world! Only someone who is deeply awful and defective would believe that the two party system isn’t serving us,” and they wonder why everyone feels disempowered and unheard.

The screens tell us, “Of course this is the way things are; it’s the only way things could ever be. Anyone who would try to change any part of this is either mentally ill or a Russian propagandist,” and they wonder why people shut down and numb themselves with opiates.

The screens tell us, “Everything is great. Everyone is doing fine. Everyone is happy. Look how happy everyone is on this sitcom. If you aren’t happy like that, it’s not because of the machine, it’s because of you. People need to be protected from your insanity. You mustn’t be allowed on any screens. You need to be silenced on social media. Trust us. Don’t trust yourself. Don’t trust that growing, gnawing sense that everything is fake and everything you’ve been taught is a lie. We have never lied to you. We have never been caught red-handed deceiving you and then acted like nothing happened. We have never gaslit you. You are misremembering things because you are confused. Shut up. You are dangerous. Shut up. You are foolish. Shut up. You are insane. The machine is sanity. The machine is freedom. Everyone is equal here. Everyone matters. Everyone gets a voice. Except you.” And the social engineers wonder why people are trusting them less and less.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

The screens tell us, “War is normal. Poverty is normal. Mass surveillance is normal. Censorship of dissenting ideas is normal. Mass media propaganda is normal. Escalating wealth and income inequality is normal. Escalating police militarization is normal. Escalating tensions between nuclear superpowers is normal. Looming ecological disaster is normal.” And people wonder why everything feels like a bubble balancing on a house of cards that was built on top of a ticking time bomb.

The screens tell us, “Insane things are sane. Sane things are insane. Up is down. Black is white. War is peace. Freedom is slavery. Ignorance is strength. If you disagree, you are crazy. If you disagree, you are poison. Shut up. You will contaminate the herd. Shut up. You are garbage. Shut up. You are a disease. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up.”

And the experts wonder why the old tricks are finding less and less psychological purchase. And we wonder why it is beginning to feel as though we are being startled out of a very long and horrible nightmare. And our rulers wonder, in their very few still and sincere moments, if it was wise to build their empire upon a sleeping giant.

Hallucination (huh-loo-suhney-shuh n) : a sensory experience of something that does not exist outside the mind, caused by various physical and mental disorders, or by reaction to certain toxic substances, and usually manifested as visual or auditory images.

Psychiatry has built an entire infrastructure around the definition of normal.

In my training, I learned clinical, diagnostic terms like “magical thinking” to pedantically dismiss any flourishes of wonderment, “delusions of reference” to coldly malign any experience of meaning or synchronicity, and even “grandiosity” if you might deign to think too much of yourself.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

When human behavior is medicalized, the foundation of a shared belief system is set up. Some behaviors are unacceptable, some are not. And conforming to these expectations – even through force and involuntary submission, retention, and medication – is essential to reinforcing what is considered normal. Those who are not performing their expected part in the machinery of this system are deemed less or non-functional (the quantification of which, psychiatry assigns a numerical value based on the Global Assessment of Functioning metric scale). But what if it is, as Krishnamurti warned, “no measure of health to be well-adapted to a profoundly sick society”? What if being “functional” requires buying into an entire matrix of illusions, many of which require a total divorce from one’s own soul?

Mental Illness as an indicator of sensitivity

It’s my belief that those who are mentally ill are the canaries in this coal mine. Whose bodies, minds, and spirits are exquisitely sensitive to all that is off, amiss, misaligned, and divergent from truth. What if these illnesses are a special invitation to wake up, to embody, and to move through a dark night, a tight passage, shedding one more artificial skin, revealing a layer closer to an unfettered experience of being, of freedom, and of joy. A sometimes loud reminder to stop eating chemical food, stop participating in the poisoning of this planet, stop working just to work, and start making room for whatever it takes to awaken.

In this case, those hallucinating are those who still believe, despite all of the evidence to the contrary, that we are, as my favorite philosopher, Alan Watts says, flesh robots on a dead rock, spinning out in the middle of nowhere. That the natural world is an indifferent backdrop subject to random forces that we must shield ourselves from. Those who still believe, despite the grossly exposed limitations of the model, that Newtonian physics – linear cause and effect, what you get out is what you put in, push-pull hydraulics – reigns over subtler, nonlinear quantum processes. Quantum physics introduces all manner of uncomfortable concepts to those firmly fixated on the delusional belief that there is an objective, quantifiable, measurable reality of known variables that predictably govern a non-sentient universe.

What if this is a collectively held delusion? Those who have had mystical experiences know that it is but an illusion that our selfness is between our ears and behind our eyes, and that the natural world needs to be managed and controlled. We know that we emerge from the complexity of beingness on this planet and that there is no objective good and bad, and perhaps no objective anything at all.

Alan Watts, puts it this way:

I wonder what you mean when you use the word I.

I’ve been very interested in this problem for a long, long time. And I’ve come to the conclusion that what most civilized people mean by that word is a hallucination—that is to say a false sense of personal identity that is at complete variance with the facts of nature.

And as a result of having a false sense of identity, we act in a way that is inappropriate to our natural environment. And when that inappropriate way of action is magnified by a very powerful technology, we swiftly begin to see the results of a profound discord between man and nature.

As is well known, we are now in the process of destroying our environment as a result of an attempt to conquer it and master it. And we have not realized therefore that our environment is not something other than ourselves.

In assuming that it is, we have made a great mistake and are now paying the price for it.

Resolving the hallucinations of the dominant narrative

The thing is, that a hallucination that becomes aware of itself, dissolves, if it is, indeed a hallucination. In the case of the dominant belief system – the most collectively shared hallucination – this is called awakening and it has everything to do with generating an awareness of the story that we have been telling ourselves.

We have been telling ourselves that we control our lives – or we wouldn’t experience anxiety.

We have been telling ourselves that we are supposed to simply feel ok with what is happening on this planet – or we wouldn’t feel depressed.

We have been telling ourselves that the world is unsafe – or we wouldn’t feel paranoid.

We have been telling ourselves to stay in line, punch the clock, and behave – or we wouldn’t get manic.

So what if we simply turn the light on and wake up to the story and recognize it as such.

Here’s how to wake up and dissolve the illusion: 1. Feel better

Information, in and of itself, changes nothing. We have to experience the truth, viscerally, for our bodies, minds, and spirits to shift and open. In order to generate the conditions of a reunion with the natural world, and a felt sense of having emerged from it, it becomes critical to experience the environment as an inextricable part of oneself. This means that nature is rendered sacred again. The human organism is seen as a miracle before which your consciousness bows. In this light, the only proper comportment is to strip away chemicals and the participation in a chemical free lifestyle, eat whole organic food, and begin the process of healing from many years of desecration. It is my belief that these simple behaviors – being in nature, cleaning up your consumerism, your eating, and beginning to detox – not only result in feeling better but in feeling apart, feeling held, and feeling a deep sense of ok-ness that stands in sharp contrast to the feeling of discord generated by the modern lifestyle.

2. Know better

Once you feel better, you are ready to learn about why. This is a good time to explore the wisdom of our forefathers and mothers, of indigenous cultures, and of modern visionaries. If you’re attracted to science as a means of narrating our shared perceptions, then begin to enjoy a growing body of science that tells a totally different story about the natural world, healing, and the wonder of this planet. Continue to look at the places where you may still be asleep, delusional, or hallucinating!

Part of this process is claiming radical responsibility for your journey, your decisions, and your experience. If you can reclaim all of the energy you are putting towards blaming, resenting, hating, and otherwise feeling victimized, you will be amazed at the experience of empowerment that results. Deeper change, reflexive self-examination, and compassion towards others comes from this shift in perspective.

3. Do better

Once you feel better and you know better, then you are ready to live differently – to do better. But here’s the surprising news. There’s no pilgrimage required, no major planning or strategy, no big decisions. Doing better, in an awakened state, involves simply caring for yourself – kneeling at the altar of your body and getting clear enough to see the programs of fear and control when they creep back into your consciousness. Getting clear involves pausing, every day.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

This is how you keep the “I” illusion at bay. You resist the temptation to do, fix, better yourself and your life circumstances endlessly. You let it be. You say yes, I accept. And you work with the flow. You give to others even when you feel most in need. In short, you burn your stories and you have faith. Watts says,

“To have faith is like when you trust yourself to the water. You don’t grab hold of the water when you swim, because if you do you will become stiff and tight in the water, and sink. You have to relax, and the attitude of faith is the very opposite of clinging, and holding on. In other words, a person who is fanatic in matters of religion, and clings to certain ideas about the nature of God and the universe becomes a person who has no faith at all. Instead they are holding tight. But the attitude of faith is to let go, and become open to truth, whatever it might turn out to be.”

Call it living in the Matrix, call it hallucinating, call it Biopolitic, or Maya, if you live life according to what mainstream media, government, and appointed authorities say is, there will come a time when you crack. Freak out. Or choose to opt out. Or when you simply leave the premises. You’ll be labeled with ADHD, Generalized Anxiety, Major Depression, Schizophrenia, or Bipolar Disorder. You will be told you are the sick one, that something is wrong with your inbuilt hardware. The figurative bone will be pointed at you and the collective will support your containment, restraint, and oppression to keep the infrastructure of the illusion intact.

But the mortar is cracking. Too many of us who have felt the truth that is spirituality. To be infused with spirit. To feel your own soul. To stop and inspire, breathe, and understand that without the entire ecosystem of beingness on this planet, you yourself are nothing. And once you have felt the fearlessness of this faith, you can never be controlled again, and you are finally free.

Transcript:

But most people would agree with the lines of the poet who said “I, a stranger and afraid. In a world I never made” because we have the strong sensation that our own being inside our skin is extremely different from the world outside our skin, that while there may be intelligence inside human skins, and while there may be values and loving feelings, outside the skin is a world of mechanical process which does not give a damn about any individual and which is basically unintelligent, being gyrations of blind force, and so far as the merely biological world is concerned, gyrations of libido, which is Freud’s word for “blind lust.”

It should be obvious that the human being goes with the rest of the universe even though we say in popular speech “I came into this world.”

Now, it is not true that you came into this world. You came out of it in the same way as a flower comes out of a plant or a fruit comes out of a tree. And as an apple tree apples, the solar system in which we live, and therefore the galaxy in which we live, and therefore the system of galaxies in which we live, that system peoples. And therefore, people are an expression of its energy and of its nature.

If people are intelligent—and I suppose we have to grant that if—then the energy which people express must also be intelligent because one does not gather figs from thistles and grapes from thorns. But it does not occur, you see, to the ordinary civilized person to regard himself or herself as an expression of the whole universe. It should be obvious that we cannot exist except in an environment of earth, air, water, and solar temperature, that all these things go with us and are as important to us, albeit outside our skins, as our internal organs, heart, stomach, brain, and so forth.

Now, if then we cannot describe the behavior of organisms without at the same time describing the behavior of their environments, we should realize that we have a new entity of description—not the individual organism alone, but what would now be called a field of behavior, which we must call rather clumsily the “organism environment.” You go with your environment in the same way as your head goes with the rest of your body. You do not find in nature faces arriving in the world sui generis; they go with a body.

But also, bodies do not arrive in a world which would be, for example, a plane, ball of scrubbed rock floating without an atmosphere far away from a star. That will not grow bodies. There is no soil for bodies. There is no complexity of environment which is body-producing.

So, bodies go with a very complicated natural environment. And if the head goes with the body, and the body goes with the environment, the body is as much an integral part of the environment as the head is part of the body.

It is deceptive of course because the human being is not rooted to the ground like a tree. A human being moves about and therefore can shift from one environment to another. But these shifts are superficial. The basic environment of the planet remains a constant. And if the human being leaves the planet, he has to take with him a canned version of the planetary environment.

Now, we are not really aware of this. Upon taking thought and due consideration, it does occur to us, yes, indeed, we do need that environment. But in the ordinary way, we don’t feel it, that is to say we don’t have a vivid sensation of belonging to our environment in the same way that we have a vivid sensation of being an ego inside a bag of skin located mostly in the skull about halfway between the ears and a little way behind the eyes. And it issues in these disastrous results of the ego which, according to 19th century common sense, feels that it is a fluke in nature, and that if it does not fight nature, it will not be able to maintain its status as intelligent fluke.

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

So, the geneticists are now saying, and many others are now saying, that man must take the course of his evolution into his own hands. He can no longer trust the wiggly, random, and unintelligible processes of nature to develop him any further, but he must interfere with his own intelligence, and through genetic alterations, breed the kind of people who will be viable for human society and that sort of thing.

Now, this I submit is a ghastly error because human intelligence has a very serious limitation. That limitation is that it is a scanning system of conscious attention which is linear—that is to say it examines the world in lines rather as he would pass the beam of a flashlight across a room (or a spotlight).

That’s why our education takes so long. It takes so long because we have to scan miles of lines of print. And we regard that, you see, as basic information.

Now, the universe does not come at us in lines. It comes at us in a multi-dimensional continuum in which everything is happening all together everywhere at once. And it comes at us much too quickly to be translated into lines of print or of other information however fast they may be scanned. And that is our limitation so far as the intellectual life and the scientific life is concerned.

The computer will greatly speed up linear scanning, but it’s still linear scanning. And so long as we are stuck with that form of wisdom, we cannot deal with more than a few variables at once.

Now, what do I mean by that? What is a variable? A variable is any one linear process. Let’s take music. When you play a Bach fugue, and there are four parts to it, you have four variables. You have four moving lines, and you can take care of that with two hands. An organist using two feet can put in two more variables and have six going. And you may realize, if you’ve ever tried to play the organ, that it’s quite difficult to make six independent motions go at once. The average person cannot do that without training. The average person cannot deal with more than three variables at once without using a pencil.

Now, when we study physics, we are dealing with processes in which there are millions of variables. This, however, we handle by statistics in the same way as insurance companies use actuarial tables to predict when most people will die. If the average age of death is 65, however, this prediction does not apply to any given individual. Any given individual will live through plus or minus 65 years. And the range of difference may be very wide indeed of course. But this is alright. The 65 guess is alright when you’re doing large-scale gambling. And that’s the way the physicists works in predicting the behavior of nuclear wavicles.

But the practical problems of human life deal with variables in the hundreds of thousands. Here, statistical methods are very poor. And thinking it out by linear consideration is impossible.

With that equipment then we are proposing to interfere with our genes. And with that equipment also, be it said, we are trying to solve our political, economic, and social problems. And naturally, everybody has the sense of total frustration. And the individual fears “Well, what on earth can I do?”

We do not seem to know a way of calling upon our brains because our brains can handle an enormous number of variables that are not accessible to the process of conscious attention. Your brain is now handling your total nervous system, to be more accurate, your blood chemistry, the secretions from your glands, the behavior of millions of cells. It is doing all that without thinking about it—that is to say without translating the processes it is handling into consciously reviewed words, symbols, or numbers.

Now, when I use the word “thinking,” I mean precisely that process, translating what is going on in nature into words, symbols or numbers—of course, both words and numbers are kinds of symbols.

Symbols bear the same relation to the real world that money bears to wealth. You cannot quench anybody’s thirst with the word “water,” just as you cannot eat a dollar bill and derive nutrition from it.

But using symbols and using conscious intelligence—scanning—has proved very useful to us. It has given us such technology as we have.

But at the same time, it has proved too much of a good thing. At the same time, we’ve become so fascinated with it that we confuse the world as it is with the world as it is thought about, talked about, and figured about—that is to say with the world as it is described. And the difference between these two is vast.

And when we are not aware of ourselves except in a symbolic way, we are not related to ourselves at all. We are like people eating menus instead of dinners. And that’s why we all feel psychologically frustrated.

So then we get back to the question of what do we mean by I?

Well, first of all, obviously, we mean our symbol of ourselves. Now, our ourselves in this case is the whole psychophysical organism, conscious and unconscious, plus its environment. That’s your real self.

Your real self, in other words, is the universe as centered on your organism. That’s you.

Let me just clarify that a little for one reason. What you do is also a doing of your environment. Your behavior is its behavior as much as its behavior is your behavior; it’s mutual. We could say it is transactional. You are not a puppet which your environment pushes around, nor is the environment a puppet which you push around. They go together, they act together.

In the same way, for example, if I have a wheel, one side of it going down is the same as the other side of it going up. When you handle the steering wheel of a car, are you pulling it or are you pushing it? No, you’re doing both, aren’t you? When you pull it down this side, you are pushing it up that side. It’s all one.

So, there’s a push-pull between organism and environment. We are only rarely aware of this as when in curious alterations of consciousness, which we call “mystical experience,” “cosmic consciousness,” an individual gets the feeling that everything that is happening is his own doing, or the opposite of that feeling that he isn’t doing anything, but that all his doings, his decisions, and so forth, are happenings of nature.

You can feel it either way. You can describe it in these two completely opposite ways, but you’re talking about the same experience. You’re talking about experiencing your own activity and the activity of nature as one single process. And you can describe it as if you were omnipotent like God or as if it were completely deterministic and you hardly existed at all.

But remember, both points of view are right. And we’ll see where that gets us.

But we don’t feel that, do we, ordinarily? What we feel instead is an identification of ourselves with our idea of ourselves, or I would rather say, with our “image” of ourselves. And that’s the person or the ego.

You play a role, you identify with that role. I play a role. It’s called Alan Watts. And I know very well that that’s a big act. I can play some other roles besides Alan Watts if necessary. But I find this one is better for making a living.

But I assure you, it’s a mask, and I don’t take it seriously. The idea of my being a kind of messiah or guru or savior of the world just breaks me up because I know me. It’s very difficult to be holy in the ordinary sense.

So, I know I’m not that. But most of us are taught to think that we are whom we are called. And when you’re a little child, and you begin to learn a role, and your parents and your peers approve of your being that, they know who you are. You’re predictable, so you can be controlled.

But when you act out of role, and you imitate some other child’s behavior, everybody points the finger and says, “You’re not being true to yourself.” “Johnny, that’s not you. That’s Peter.” And so you learn to stay Peter or to stay Johnny.

But of course, you’re not either… because this is just the image of you. It’s as much of you as you can get into your conscious attention which is precious little.

Your image of yourself contains no information about how you structure your nervous system. It contains no information about your blood chemistry. It contains almost no information about the subtle influences of society upon your behavior. It does not include the basic assumptions of your culture, which are all taken for granted and unconscious. You can’t find them out unless you study other cultures to see how their basic assumptions differ.

It includes all kinds of illusions that you’re completely unaware of as, for example, that time is real and that there is such a thing as a past which is pure hokum. But nevertheless, all these things are unconscious in us and they are not included in our image of ourselves, nor of course included in our image of ourselves. Is there any information about our inseparable relationships with the whole natural universe?

So, this is a very impoverished image. When you ask a person, “What did you do yesterday?” they’ll give you a historical account of a certain number of events in which they participated and a certain number of things which they saw, used, or were clobbered by. But realize at once that this history leaves out most of what happened.

I, in trying to describe what happens to me this evening, will never be able to describe it because there are so many people here that if I were to talk about everyone whom I’ve seen, what they were wearing, what color their hair was, what sort of expressions they had on their faces, I would have to talk through doomsday.

So, instead of this rich physical experience—which is very rich indeed—I have to attenuate it in memory in description to saying, “Oh, I met a lot of people in Philadelphia. There were men, and there were women. Lots of them were young, and some of them were old.” It’s a most utterly impoverished account of what went on.

So, therefore, in thinking of ourselves in this way, what I did yesterday, what I did the day before, in terms of this stringy, mangy account, all I have is a caricature of myself. And you know the caricaturist doesn’t draw you all in; he just put certain salient features whereby people will recognize you. It’s all a skeleton.

So, we are, as it were, conceiving ourselves as a bunch of skeletons. And they’ve got no flesh on them, just a bunch of bones. And no wonder we all feel inadequate!

We’re all looking for something—to the future to bring us the goodie that we know we ought to have. There’s a golden goodie at the end of the line somewhere. There’s a good time coming be it ever so far away, that one far-off divine event which all creation moves… we hope.

And therefore, we say of something that’s no good, it has no future. I would say it has no present, but everybody says it has no future.

Now, here we are, as it were, psychically starved and always therefore looking—seeking, seeking, seeking. And this confused seeking is going on everywhere. We don’t know what we want. Nobody knows what they want. We say, yes, we think of what we want in vague terms—pleasure, money, wealth, love, fulfillment, personal development. But we don’t know what we mean by all that.

If a person really sits down to figure out, write a long essay, 20 pages, on your idea of heaven, it’ll be a sorry production.

You could see it already in medieval art whether it be depictions of heaven and hell. Hell is always much better than heaven—although it’s uncomfortable. It’s a sadomasochistic orgy. Wowie! Hell is really rip-roaring. Whereas all the saints in heaven are sitting very, very smug and demure like they were in church.

And you’ll see also the multitudes of the saved. Instead of this writhing wormy thing, you can see all their heads which the artist has drawn to abbreviate them, just the tops of their heads in masses. They look like cobblestone street flattened out.

So, what has happened then is this, that our eye is an illusion. It’s an image. And it is no more our self than an idol is the godhead.

But we say, “It can’t be so because I feel I really exist. It isn’t just an idea in my head. It’s a feeling. I feel me!” Well, what is it that you feel when you feel I?

Well, what is it that you feel when you feel I, I’ll tell you.

What do you do when somebody says, “Pay attention”? What is the difference between looking at something and taking a hard look at it, or between hearing something and listening intently? What’s the difference? What’s the difference between waiting while something goes on and enduring it?

Why, the difference is this.

When you pay attention instead of just looking, you screw up your face. You frown and stare. That is a muscular activity around here. When you will, you grit your teeth or clench your fists. When you endure or control yourself, you pull yourself together physically, and therefore, you get uptight. You hold your breath. You do all kinds of muscular things to control the functioning of your nervous system. And none of them have the slightest effect on the proper operation of the nervous system.

If you stare at things, you will rather fuzz the image than see them clearly. If you listen intently by concentrating on muscles around the ears, you will be so much attending to muscles here that you won’t hear things properly. And you may get singing in the ears. If you tighten up with your body to pull yourself together, all you do is constrict yourself.

I remember in school, I sat next to a boy who had great difficulty in learning to read. And what they always say to children is, “Try! If you can’t do something, you must try!” So the boy tries. And what has he done? When he’s trying to get out words, he grunts and groans as if he were lifting weights. And the teacher is impressed. The boy is really trying and gives him a B for effort.

It has nothing to do with it.

Now, we all make this muscular straining with the thought that it’s achieving psychological results, the sort of psychological results it’s intended to achieve. Now all this amounts to is this. You’re taking off in a jet plane, you’re a mile down the runway. The thing isn’t up in the air yet, you get nervous, so you start pulling at your seatbelt. That’s what it is now.

Now, that is a chronic feeling. We have it in us all the time. And it corresponds to the word I. That’s what you feel when you say I. You feel that chronic tension. When an organ is working properly, you don’t feel it.

If you see your eye, you’ve got cataract. If you hear your ears, you’ve got singing in your ears. You’re getting in the way of hearing. When you are fully functioning, you are unaware of the organ.

When you’re thinking clearly, your brain isn’t getting in your way. Actually, of course, you are seeing your eyes in the sense that everything you see out in front of you is a condition in the optic nerves at the back of the skull. That’s where you’re aware of all this. But you’re not aware of the eye as the eye. I’m talking about the optical eye.

So, when we are aware of the ego I, we are aware of this chronic tension inside ourselves. And that’s not us. It’s a futile tension. So when we get the illusion, the image of ourselves, married to a futile tension, you’ve got an illusion married to a futility. And then, you wonder “why can’t do anything, why feel, in the face of all the problems of the world, impotent, and why somehow cannot manage to transform I.”

Now, here we get to the real problem. We’re always telling each other that we should be different. I’m not going to tell you that tonight. Why not? Because I know you can’t be. I’m not going to. That may sound depressing, but I’ll show you it isn’t. It’s very heartening.

Everybody you see who is at all sensitive and awake to their own problems and human problems is trying to change themselves. We know we can’t change the world unless we change ourselves. If we’re all individually selfish, we’re going to be collectively selfish. If we don’t really love people, and only pretend to, somehow we’ve got to find a way to love. After all, it’s said in the Bible, “Thou shalt love the Lord, thy God, and your neighbor as yourself.” You must love. Yeah, we all agree. Sure! But we don’t.

In fact, one psychologist very smartly asked a patient, “With whom are you in love against?” And this particularly becomes appalling when we enter into the realm of higher things, by which I mean spiritual development.

Everybody these days is interested in spiritual development—and wisely because we want to change our consciousness. Many people are well aware that this egocentric consciousness is a hallucination. And that they presume it’s the function of religion to change it because that’s what the Zen Buddhists and yogis and all these people in the Orient are doing, they are changing their state of consciousness to get something called satori or mystical experience or nirvana or moksha or what-have-you.

And everybody around here is really enthused about that because you don’t get that in church. I mean, there has been Christian mystics, but the church has been very quiet about them.

In the average church, all you get is talk. There’s no meditation, no spiritual discipline. They tell God what to do interminably as if He didn’t know. And then, they tell the people what to do as if they could or even wanted to. And then, they sing religious nursery rhymes.

And then, to cap it all, the Roman Catholic Church, which did at least have an unintelligible service, which was real mysterious and suggested vast magic going on, they wouldn’t put the thing into bad English. They took away incense, and they took away… they became a bunch of Protestants. The thing was just terrible!

So now, all these Catholics are at loose ends. As Claire Boothe Luce put it—not to be a pun, but she said, “It’s no longer possible to practice contemplative prayer at mass” because you’re being advised, exhorted, edified all the time. That becomes a bore. Think of God listening to all those prayers. I mean, talking about grieving the Holy Spirit. It’s just awful! People have no consideration for God at all.

But in pursuing these spiritual disciplines—yoga and Zen and so forth, and also psychotherapy—there comes up a big difficulty. And the big difficulty is this: I want to find a method whereby I can change my consciousness, therefore to improve myself. But the self that needs to be improved is the one that is doing the improving. And so I’m rather stuck.

I find out the reason that I think I believe say in God is that I sure hope that, somehow, God will rescue me. In other words, I want to hang on to my own existence. I feel rather shaky about doing that for myself, but I just hope there’s a god who’ll take care of it. Or if I could be loving, I would have a better opinion of myself. I’d feel better about it. “I could face myself,” as people say, “if I were more loving.”

So, the unloving me, somehow, by some gimmickry, has to turn itself into a loving me. And this is just like trying to lift yourself off the ground with your own bootstraps. It can’t be done!

And that’s why religion, in practice, mainly produces hypocrisy and guilt because of the constant failure of these enterprises.

People go and study Zen. They come back and say, “Wow! Getting rid of your ego is a superhuman task.” I assure you, it’s going to be very, very difficult to get rid of your ego. You’re going to have to sit for a long time and you’re going to get the sorest legs. It’s hard work! All you wretched kids who think you’re getting rid of your ego or something or another, easy yoga, you don’t know what you’re in for.

When it really comes down to the nitty-gritty, you know, the biggest ego trip going is getting rid of your ego.

And the joke of it all is our ego doesn’t exist! There’s nothing to get rid of. It’s an illusion as I tried to explain. But you still want to ask how to stop the illusion. Well, who’s asking?

In the ordinary sense in which you use the word I, how can I stop identifying myself with the wrong me? But the answer is simply you can’t.

Now, the Christians put this in their way when they say that mystical experience is a gift of divine grace. Man, as such, cannot achieve this experience. It is a gift of God. And if God doesn’t give it to you, there’s no way of getting it. Now, that is solidly true. You can’t do anything about it because you don’t exist.

Well, you say, “That’s pretty depressing news.” But the whole point is it isn’t depressing news. It is the joyous news. There’s a Zen poem which puts it like this. Talking about it, it means the mystical experience, Satori, the realization that you are the eternal energy of the universe like Jesus did. It like this:

“You cannot catch hold of it, nor can you get rid of it. In not being able to get it, you get it! When you speak, it’s silent. When you’re silent, it speaks.”

Now, in not being able to get it, you get it, because this whole feeling, what Krishnamurti is trying to explain to people, for example, when he says, “Why do you ask for a method? There is no method. All methods are simply gimmicks for strengthening your ego.”

So, how do we not do that? He says, “You’re still asking for a method.” There is no method. If you really understand what your I is, you will see there is no method.

Is it just so sad? But it’s not. This is the gospel, the good news, because if you cannot achieve it, if you cannot transform yourself, that means that the main obstacle to mystical vision has collapsed. That was you.

What happens? You can’t do anything about it. You’re at your wit’s end. What would you do? Commit suicide. But supposing you just put that off for a little while, wait and see what happens.

You can’t control your thoughts, you can’t control your feelings because there is no controller. You are your thoughts and your feelings. They’re running along, running along, running along. Just sit and watch them. There they go!

You’re still breathing, aren’t you? Still growing your hair? Still seeing and hearing? Are you doing that? I mean is breathing something that you do? Do you see, I mean do you organize the operations of your eyes? You know exactly how to work those rods and cones in the retina? Do you do that? It’s a happening. It happens.

So, you couldn’t feel all this happening. Your breathing is happening. Your thinking is happening. Your feeling is happening—your hearing, your seeing. The clouds are happening across the sky. The sky is happening blue. The Sun is happening shining.

There it is, all that’s happening. And may I introduce to you… this is yourself.

This begins to be a vision of who you really are. And that’s the way you function. You function by happening, that is to say, by spontaneous occurrence.

And this is not a state of affairs that you should realize. I cannot possibly preach it to you because the minute you start thinking, “I should understand that,” this is the stupid notion again of “should bring it about” when there is no you to bring it about. So that’s why I’m not preaching. You can only preach to egos. All I can do is to talk about what is. It amuses me to talk about what is because it’s wonderful. I love it. And therefore, I like to talk. If I get paid for it, then I make my living. And sensible people get paid for doing what they enjoy doing.

So, you see, the whole approach here is not to convert you, not to improve you, but for you to discover that if you really knew the way you are, things would be sane. But you see, you can’t do that. You can’t make that discovery because you’re in your own way, so long as you think “I’m I,” so long as that hallucination blocks it.

And the hallucination disappears only in the realization of its own futility, when at last you see you can’t do it. You cannot make yourself over. You cannot really control your own mind.

See, when we try to control the mind, a lot of yoga teachers try to get you to control your own mind mainly to prove to you that you can’t do it. There’s nothing, you know, a fool who persists in his folly will become wise. So what they do is they speed up the folly.

And so, you get concentrating. And you can have a certain amount of superficial and initial success by a process commonly called self-hypnosis. You can think you’re making progress, and a good teacher will let you go along that way for a while until he really throws you with one. Why are you concentrating?

See, Buddhism works this way. The Buddha said, “If you suffer, you suffer because you desire, and your desires are either unattainable. You’re always being disappointed or something. So cut out desire.” So, those disciples went away, and they stamped on desire, jumped on desire, cut the throat of desire, and threw out desire. But then they came back and Buddha said, “But you are still desiring not to desire.” Now they want to know how to get rid of that.

So when you see that that’s nonsense, there naturally comes over you a quietness. And seeing that you cannot control your mind, you realize there is no controller. What you took to be the thinker of thoughts is just one of the thoughts. What you took to be the feeler of the feelings, which was that chronic muscular strain, was just one of the feelings. What you took to be the experience of experience is just by the experience.

So, there isn’t any thinker of thoughts, feeler of feelings. We get into that bind because we have a grammatical rule that verbs have to have subjects. And the funny thing about that is that verbs are processes and subjects are nouns which is supposed to be things. How does a noun start a verb? How does a thing put a process into action? Obviously, it can’t.

But we always insist that there is this subject called the “knower.” And without a knower, there can’t be knowing. Well, that’s just a grammatical rule. It isn’t a rule of nature. In nature, there’s just knowing like you’re feeling it.

I have to say you are feeling it as if you were somehow different from the feeling. When I say, “I am feeling,” what I mean is there is feeling here. When I say you are feeling, I mean there is feeling there. I have to say even “there is feeling.” What a cumbersome language we have. Chinese is easier. You don’t have to put all that in. And you say things twice as fast in Chinese as you can in any other language.

Well, anyway, when you come to see that you can do nothing, that the play of thought, of feeling, et cetera, just goes on by itself as a happening, then you are in a state which we will call meditation. And slowly, without being pushed, your thoughts will come to silence—that is to say all the verbal symbolic chatter going on in the skull.

Don’t try and get rid of it because that will again produce the illusion that there’s a controller. It goes on, it goes on, it goes on. Finally, it gets tired of itself and bored and stops. And so then there’s a silence. And this is a deeper level of meditation.

And in that silence, you suddenly begin to see the world as it is. You don’t see any past. You don’t see any future. You don’t see any difference between yourself and the rest of it. That’s just an idea. You can’t put your hand on the difference between myself and you. You can’t blow it. You can’t bounce it. You can’t pull it. It’s just an idea. You can’t find any material body because material body is an idea; so is spiritual body. This is somebody’s philosophical notions.

So, reality isn’t material. That’s an idea. Reality isn’t spiritual. That’s an idea. Reality is {claps}.

So, we find, if I’ve got to put it back into words, that we live in an eternal now. You’ve got all the time in the world because you’ve got all the time there is which is now.

And you are this universe. You feel the strange feeling when—ideas don’t define the differences. You feel that other people’s doings are your doings. And that makes it very difficult to blame other people. If you’re not sophisticated theologically, you may of course run screaming in the streets and say that you’re God.

In a way, that’s what happened to Jesus because he wasn’t sophisticated theologically. He only had Old Testament biblical theology behind him. If he’d had Hindu theology, he could have put it more subtly. But it was only that rather primitive theology of the Old Testament. And that was a conception of God as a monarchical boss. And you can’t go around and say, “I’m the boss’ son.” If you’re going to say, “I’m God,” you must allow it for everyone else too.

But this was a heretical idea from the point of view of Hebrew theology. So what they did with Jesus was they pedestalized him. That means “kicked him upstairs,” so that he wouldn’t be able to influence anyone else. And only you may be God. That stopped the gospel cold right at the beginning. It couldn’t spread.

Well, anyway, this is therefore to say that the transformation of human consciousness through meditation is frustrated. So long as we think of it in terms of something that I, myself, can bring about by some kind of wangle, by some sort of gimmick.

Because you see, that leads to endless games of spiritual one-upmanship and of guru competitions. “My guru is more effective than your guru. My yoga is faster than your yoga. I’m more aware of myself than you are. I’m humbler than you are. I’m sorrier for my sins than you are. I love you more than you love me.” There is interminable goings-on about which people fight and wonder whether they are a little bit more evolved than somebody else and so on. All that can just fall away.

And then, we get this strange feeling that we have never had in our lives except occasionally by accident. Some people get a glimpse that we are no longer this poor little stranger and afraid in the world it never made, but that you are this universe and you are creating it at every month.

Because, you see, it starts now. It didn’t begin in the past. There was no past. So if the universe began in the past, when that happened, it was now, see? But it’s still now.

And the universe is still beginning now and it’s trailing off like the wake of a ship from now. When the wake of the ship fades out, so does the past. You can look back there to explain things, but the explanation disappears. You’ll never find it there. Things are not explained by the past. They’re explained by what happens now that creates the past. It begins here.

That’s the birth of responsibility because, otherwise, you can always look over your shoulder and say, “Well, I’m the way I am because my mother dropped me. And she dropped me because she was neurotic because her mother dropped her” and away we go back to Adam and Eve or to a disappearing monkey or something. We’ll never get at it.

But in this way, you’re faced with… you’re doing all this. And that’s an extraordinary thought.

So, cheer up! You can’t blame anyone else for the kind of world you’re in. And if you know, you’ll see that I, in the sense of the person, the front, the ego, it really doesn’t exist, then it won’t go to your head too badly if you wake up and discover that you’re God.

5G wireless service has just been launched by Verizon in the first 4 cities on the planet: Sacramento, California, Houston, Texas, Indianapolis, Indiana, and Los Angeles, California. Verizon launched it on October 1, offering free 5G to users for three months.

Soon, dozens of other American cities will be saturated with 5G frequencies, when AT&T launches its network.

The AT&T network also set to launch in late 2018, will happen in 23 metropolitan areas, many of them in the south: Atlanta, Georgia, Austin, Texas, Bridgeport, Connecticut, Boston, Massachusetts, Fresno, California, Buffalo, New York, Chicago, Illinois, Greenville, South Carolina, Houston, Texas again, Indianapolis, Indiana again, Los Angeles, California again, Sacramento, California again, San Diego, California, San Francisco, California, Hartford, Connecticut, San Antonio, Texas, New Orleans, Louisiana, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Louisville, Memphis, and Nashville, Tennessee, Oklahoma City, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Here’s some basic info to know about exactly what 5G is.

As 5G is rolled out, the cell towers we normally see are going to be replaced with smaller cells, closer to our heads on buildings and short poles, emitting higher frequencies than the current cell towers. These little cells will be on poles everywhere if people allow this to come to fruition.

These small, white, seemingly plastic encased cells emitting higher frequencies closer to our heads are being spotted now on the streets of these cities.

Current 4G WiFi operates generally under 1 gigahertz (GHz).

5G runs on millimeter waves, a spectrum of frequency much higher. It will be on millimeter-length wavelengths between 30 and 300 gigahertz (GHz).

Verizon’s current 4-city deployment of 5G runs between 28 and 39 GHz, according to them.

The thing about 5G is, different carriers are going to run their 5G on different frequency bands, and they will rise in frequency, until our WifFi, our phones and computers suddenly run on frequencies as high as 60 GHz.

When 5G reaches 60 GHz frequencies, it is believed that this will really, really cause people health problems.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

WiFi usually below 1 GHz is already known to cause a litany of health problems, and it’s thought to be linked to the infertility crisis currently hitting America and countries all over the world. WiFi is connected to cancer, infertility, birth defects, sleep disorders, memory problems, cardiovascular diseases, infertility, and more. That’s a whole other body of research.

This article is obviously written from the perspective that our health is no sacrifice for the ability to have Internet that is faster. For all the people who may suffer from health problems, and their families now being saturated with the frequencies, this article series from Edge Canopy is going to put the research in one place with solid sources.

To begin examining potential health problems from 5G, firefighters in San Francisco exposed to early trials of it experienced health problems.

Even local news articles from Sacramento admitted it could cause health problems. According to Sacramento CBS:

“Sacramento will be the first city in the country to get 5G cell service later this summer, but health concerns are now being raised about the equipment.

5G uses high frequency waves and is supposed to be 100 times faster than the current cell phone service. However, the 5G waves don’t travel as far as current wireless frequencies so instead of large cell phone tower equipment spread far apart, the 5G requires small cell sites closer together.”

“Firefighters in San Francisco have reported memory problems and confusion after the 5G equipment was installed outside of fire stations. The firefighters claim the symptoms stopped when they relocated to stations without equipment nearby.”

People suspect the 5G frequencies will cause problems having to do with oxygen. It was said by Joe Imbriano, an activist and researcher from Fullerton, California that when 5G reaches the frequency band of 60 GHz, the ability for a person’s blood hemoglobin to bind with oxygen will be damaged.

Researching his claims, they start to add up although it is difficult to confirm the thing about oxygen and hemoglobin. This article from an accredited website about radio frequencies called “Everything RF” is titled “Why is the 60 GHz Band not good for long-range communications?”

It reports that oxygen does in fact absorb 60 GHz frequencies at an extreme level, representing a spike of absorption ability, when you see how different frequencies on the millimeter spectrum interact with oxygen. However, the graph is talking about high altitudes and the atmosphere. One would assume 5G interacts with oxygen in a similar way at our altitude.

So Joe Imbriano was correct to say 60 GHz 5G will be absorbed by oxygen in an intense way.

Doesn’t that mean, just by common sense that the oxygen in our bodies, the oxygen we breathe and depend on would be saturated with 60 GHz frequencies? Doesn’t that mean our bodies will conduct the 5G like antennas?

Furthermore, wouldn’t our bodies acting as potent antennae for 60 GHz frequencies cause us all kinds of health problems? Where would we even escape to get away from them, if they saturate all major cities with this?

5G’s likely ill health effects can be divided into several categories.

Skin Problems

An Israeli study led by Dr. Yuri D Feldman on 5G frequencies found that they cause human sweat ducts to behave strangely. The study reports that human sweat ducts act as an array of very small, helix-shaped antennas when exposed to millimeter waves. That implies the human body could be even more conductive of it.

A study on that particularly feared 5G frequency of 60 GHz, referenced by the Center for Public Integrity concluded that “more than 90% of the transmitted (MMWs) power is absorbed in the epidermis and dermis layer.”  It’s not going to be good for the skin, it would appear.

Heart Problems

A study from 1992 reported that frequencies in the higher 5G spectrum, ranging from 53-78GHz impacted the heart rate variability in rats. In other words, higher spectrum 5G could probably cause heart arrhythmia in humans. Another Russian study on frogs whose skin was exposed to these millimeter waves found that they cause heart arrhythmia.

Eye Problems

In 1994, a study was carried out in Poland to determine whether or not millimeter radiation impacted the eye’s transmission of light through its lens. They found that low-level millimeter wave radiation produced lens opacity in rats: associated with cataracts forming.

So 5G could cause human beings to develop eye problems and cataracts, it would seem. This one is difficult to find a copy of, although the academic citation for it can be found at “Chernyakov, GM and Korochkin, VL and Babenko, AP and Bigdai E. Reactions of biological systems of various complexity to the action of low-level EHF radiation No Title. Millim Waves Med Biol. 1989; 1: 141–167.”

In addition, a Japanese experiment was conducted to see whether or not the feared 60 GHz frequency band could cause ocular problems. It found that “millimeter-wave antennas can cause thermal injuries of varying types of levels. The thermal effects induced by millimeter waves can apparently penetrate below the surface of the eye.”

This one is also difficult to find, but can be found at the academic citation “Kojima M, Hanazawa M, Yamashiro Y, Sasaki H, Watanabe S, Taki M, Suzuki Y, Hirata A, Kamimura Y, Sasaki K. ACUTE OCULAR INJURIES CAUSED BY 60-GHZ MILLIMETER-WAVE EXPOSURE. Health Phys [Internet]. 2009 [cited 2018 Mar 19]; 97: 212–8. doi: 10.1097/HP.0b013e3181abaa57.”

Immune problems

A 2002 Russian study that set out to explore the effects of 42 GHz frequencies determined that when healthy mice were exposed to them, they had a drastic reduction of activity with cells involved with immunity: about 50%.

In other words, 42 GHz frequencies, close to the middle of the 5G spectrum, cause mice to suffer from immune system problems.

They concluded: “the whole-body exposure of healthy mice to low-intensity EHF EMR has a profound effect on the indices of nonspecific immunity.”

A detailed, complex looking but not impossible to understand study was published in 2010, about the very same frequencies Verizon is currently deploying: directly in the middle of the current Verizon 5G spectrum at 35 GHz.

The study was titled “Protein Changes in Macrophages Induced by Plasma From Rats Exposed to 35 GHz Milimeter Waves.” Guess what, it came from Texas based US Air Force Research Laboratories, and associated entities.

The study reads:

“In agreement with this, prior studies conducted by our laboratory showed intravascular aggregation of leukocytes and upregulation of genes associated with immune cell recruitment and activation in the skin of rats at 6 and 24 h after exposure to 35 GHz MMWs at 75 mW/cm2until colonic temperature reached 41–428C [Millenbaugh et al., 2008]. Previous investigations also indicate that sustained MMW exposure can cause heating of internal tissues, presumably due to thermal conduction, and effects inperipheral blood cells and tissues distal to the initial siteof energy absorption.

A series of experiments performed in rats demonstrated that exposure to 35 GHz MMWs at 75 mW/cm2 for approximately 44–80 min produced elevations in skin and colonic temperatures and changes in heart rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure, with eventual circulatory collapse [Frei et al.,1995; Kalns et al., 2000; Millenbaugh et al., 2006].

In addition, increased levels of the oxidative stress marker, 3-nitrotyrosine (3-NT), were detected in peripheral blood lymphocytes and neutrophils of rats exposed to 35 GHz MMWs at 75 mW/cm2 for 44–60 min until body core temperature reached 41–428C [Kalns et al.,2000]. Based on these results, we hypothesized that 35 GHz MMWs can elicit the release of biologically active mediators into the systemic circulation leading todownstream responses in cells and tissues. The ability to elicit effects in immune cells has also been observed for other MMW frequencies”

So the exact frequencies Verizon just unleashed are known by even the US military, to cause an increase of proteins associated with inflammation, oxidative stress, and energy metabolism. Heating of internal tissues, that’s what the US military institutions admit 5G will cause.

This is quite solid cursory evidence that 5G will cause health problems.

Let’s back away from the research real quick and think about this with some common sense. We’re composed of water and oxygen, and we breathe oxygen. Oxygen is all around us. It shouldn’t take much more scientific information to suspect that frequencies known to be extremely interactive with oxygen would cause health problems in mammals, or even other life forms.

They bill it as being a revolution in technology, but those risks simply seem to outweigh the benefits.

According to GreenMedInfo, who published a very well sourced article about 5G, 180 scientists and doctors have called for a moratorium on 5G, understanding it will be hazardous to human health.

At this point, it doesn’t look like anyone is going to stop it. Now, all we can do is write articles like this, and hand them out to whoever cares on the street.

Sacramento is saturated with 5G now, and for the first three months people can use it for free: but nothing good is ever free.

“The poor and the underclass are growing. Racial justice and human rights are nonexistent. They have created a repressive society and we are their unwitting accomplices. Their intention to rule rests with the annihilation of consciousness. We have been lulled into a trance. They have made us indifferent to ourselves, to others. We are focused only on our own gain.”—They Live, John Carpenter

We’re living in two worlds, you and I.

There’s the world we see (or are made to see) and then there’s the one we sense (and occasionally catch a glimpse of), the latter of which is a far cry from the propaganda-driven reality manufactured by the government and its corporate sponsors, including the media.

Indeed, what most Americans perceive as life in America—privileged, progressive and free—is a far cry from reality, where economic inequality is growing, real agendas and real power are buried beneath layers of Orwellian doublespeak and corporate obfuscation, and “freedom,” such that it is, is meted out in small, legalistic doses by militarized police armed to the teeth.

All is not as it seems.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

“You see them on the street. You watch them on TV. You might even vote for one this fall. You think they’re people just like you. You’re wrong. Dead wrong.”

This is the premise of John Carpenter’s film They Live, which was released 30 years ago in November 1988 and remains unnervingly, chillingly appropriate for our modern age.

Best known for his horror film Halloween, which assumes that there is a form of evil so dark that it can’t be killed, Carpenter’s larger body of work is infused with a strong anti-authoritarian, anti-establishment, laconic bent that speaks to the filmmaker’s concerns about the unraveling of our society, particularly our government.

Time and again, Carpenter portrays the government working against its own citizens, a populace out of touch with reality, technology run amok, and a future more horrific than any horror film.

In Escape from New York, Carpenter presents fascism as the future of America.

In The Thing, a remake of the 1951 sci-fi classic of the same name, Carpenter presupposes that increasingly we are all becoming dehumanized.

In Christine, the film adaptation of Stephen King’s novel about a demon-possessed car, technology exhibits a will and consciousness of its own and goes on a murderous rampage.

In In the Mouth of Madness, Carpenter notes that evil grows when people lose “the ability to know the difference between reality and fantasy.”

And then there is Carpenter’s They Live, in which two migrant workers discover that the world is not as it seems. In fact, the population is actually being controlled and exploited by aliens working in partnership with an oligarchic elite. All the while, the populace—blissfully unaware of the real agenda at work in their lives—has been lulled into complacency, indoctrinated into compliance, bombarded with media distractions, and hypnotized by subliminal messages beamed out of television and various electronic devices, billboards and the like.

It is only when homeless drifter John Nada (played to the hilt by the late Roddy Piper) discovers a pair of doctored sunglasses—Hoffman lenses—that Nada sees what lies beneath the elite’s fabricated reality: control and bondage.

When viewed through the lens of truth, the elite, who appear human until stripped of their disguises, are shown to be monsters who have enslaved the citizenry in order to prey on them.

Likewise, billboards blare out hidden, authoritative messages: a bikini-clad woman in one ad is actually ordering viewers to “MARRY AND REPRODUCE.” Magazine racks scream “CONSUME” and “OBEY.” A wad of dollar bills in a vendor’s hand proclaims, “THIS IS YOUR GOD.”

When viewed through Nada’s Hoffman lenses, some of the other hidden messages being drummed into the people’s subconscious include: NO INDEPENDENT THOUGHT, CONFORM, SUBMIT, STAY ASLEEP, BUY, WATCH TV, NO IMAGINATION, and DO NOT QUESTION AUTHORITY.

This indoctrination campaign engineered by the elite in They Live is painfully familiar to anyone who has studied the decline of American culture.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

A citizenry that does not think for themselves, obeys without question, is submissive, does not challenge authority, does not think outside the box, and is content to sit back and be entertained is a citizenry that can be easily controlled.

In this way, the subtle message of They Live provides an apt analogy of our own distorted vision of life in the American police state, what philosopher Slavoj Žižek refers to as dictatorship in democracy, “the invisible order which sustains your apparent freedom.”

We’re being fed a series of carefully contrived fictions that bear no resemblance to reality.

The powers-that-be want us to feel threatened by forces beyond our control (terrorists, shootersbombers).

They want us afraid and dependent on the government and its militarized armies for our safety and well-being.

They want us distrustful of each other, divided by our prejudices, and at each other’s throats.

Most of all, they want us to continue to march in lockstep with their dictates.

Tune out the government’s attempts to distract, divert and befuddle us and tune into what’s really going on in this country, and you’ll run headlong into an unmistakable, unpalatable truth: the moneyed elite who rule us view us as expendable resources to be used, abused and discarded.

In fact, a study conducted by Princeton and Northwestern University concluded that the U.S. government does not represent the majority of American citizens. Instead, the study found that the government is ruled by the rich and powerful, or the so-called “economic elite.” Moreover, the researchers concluded that policies enacted by this governmental elite nearly always favor special interests and lobbying groups.

In other words, we are being ruled by an oligarchy disguised as a democracy, and arguably on our way towards fascism—a form of government where private corporate interests rule, money calls the shots, and the people are seen as mere subjects to be controlled.

Not only do you have to be rich—or beholden to the rich—to get elected these days, but getting elected is also a surefire way to get rich. As CBS News reports, “Once in office, members of Congress enjoy access to connections and information they can use to increase their wealth, in ways that are unparalleled in the private sector. And once politicians leave office, their connections allow them to profit even further.”

In denouncing this blatant corruption of America’s political system, former president Jimmy Carter blasted the process of getting elected—to the White House, governor’s mansion, Congress or state legislatures—as “unlimited political bribery… a subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect, and sometimes get, favors for themselves after the election is over.”

Rest assured that when and if fascism finally takes hold in America, the basic forms of government will remain: Fascism will appear to be friendly. The legislators will be in session. There will be elections, and the news media will continue to cover the entertainment and political trivia. Consent of the governed, however, will no longer apply. Actual control will have finally passed to the oligarchic elite controlling the government behind the scenes.

Sound familiar?

Clearly, we are now ruled by an oligarchic elite of governmental and corporate interests.

We have moved into “corporatism” (favored by Benito Mussolini), which is a halfway point on the road to full-blown fascism.

Corporatism is where the few moneyed interests—not elected by the citizenry—rule over the many. In this way, it is not a democracy or a republican form of government, which is what the American government was established to be. It is a top-down form of government and one which has a terrifying history typified by the developments that occurred in totalitarian regimes of the past: police states where everyone is watched and spied on, rounded up for minor infractions by government agents, placed under police control, and placed in detention (a.k.a. concentration) camps.

For the final hammer of fascism to fall, it will require the most crucial ingredient: the majority of the people will have to agree that it’s not only expedient but necessary.

But why would a people agree to such an oppressive regime?

The answer is the same in every age: fear.

Fear makes people stupid.

Fear is the method most often used by politicians to increase the power of government. And, as most social commentators recognize, an atmosphere of fear permeates modern America: fear of terrorism, fear of the police, fear of our neighbors and so on.

The propaganda of fear has been used quite effectively by those who want to gain control, and it is working on the American populace.

Despite the fact that we are 17,600 times more likely to die from heart disease than from a terrorist attack; 11,000 times more likely to die from an airplane accident than from a terrorist plot involving an airplane; 1,048 times more likely to die from a car accident than a terrorist attack, and 8 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than by a terrorist , we have handed over control of our lives to government officials who treat us as a means to an end—the source of money and power.

As the Bearded Man in They Live warns, “They are dismantling the sleeping middle class. More and more people are becoming poor. We are their cattle. We are being bred for slavery.”

In this regard, we’re not so different from the oppressed citizens in They Live.

From the moment we are born until we die, we are indoctrinated into believing that those who rule us do it for our own good. The truth is far different.

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

Despite the truth staring us in the face, we have allowed ourselves to become fearful, controlled, pacified zombies.

We live in a perpetual state of denial, insulated from the painful reality of the American police state by wall-to-wall entertainment news and screen devices.

Most everyone keeps their heads down these days while staring zombie-like into an electronic screen, even when they’re crossing the street. Families sit in restaurants with their heads down, separated by their screen devices and unaware of what’s going on around them. Young people especially seem dominated by the devices they hold in their hands, oblivious to the fact that they can simply push a button, turn the thing off and walk away.

Indeed, there is no larger group activity than that connected with those who watch screens—that is, television, lap tops, personal computers, cell phones and so on. In fact, a Nielsen study reports that American screen viewing is at an all-time high. For example, the average American watches approximately 151 hours of television per month.

The question, of course, is what effect does such screen consumption have on one’s mind?

Psychologically it is similar to drug addiction. Researchers found that “almost immediately after turning on the TV, subjects reported feeling more relaxed, and because this occurs so quickly and the tension returns so rapidly after the TV is turned off, people are conditioned to associate TV viewing with a lack of tension.” Research also shows that regardless of the programming, viewers’ brain waves slow down, thus transforming them into a more passive, nonresistant state.

Historically, television has been used by those in authority to quiet discontent and pacify disruptive people. “Faced with severe overcrowding and limited budgets for rehabilitation and counseling, more and more prison officials are using TV to keep inmates quiet,” according to Newsweek.

Given that the majority of what Americans watch on television is provided through channels controlled by six mega corporations, what we watch is now controlled by a corporate elite and, if that elite needs to foster a particular viewpoint or pacify its viewers, it can do so on a large scale.

If we’re watching, we’re not doing.

The powers-that-be understand this. As television journalist Edward R. Murrow warned in a 1958 speech:

We are currently wealthy, fat, comfortable and complacent. We have currently a built-in allergy to unpleasant or disturbing information. Our mass media reflect this. But unless we get up off our fat surpluses and recognize that television in the main is being used to distract, delude, amuse, and insulate us, then television and those who finance it, those who look at it, and those who work at it, may see a totally different picture too late.

This brings me back to They Live, in which the real zombies are not the aliens calling the shots but the populace who are content to remain controlled.

When all is said and done, the world of They Live is not so different from our own.

We, too, are focused only on our own pleasures, prejudices and gains. Our poor and underclasses are also growing. Racial injustice is growing. Human rights is nearly nonexistent. We too have been lulled into a trance, indifferent to others.

Oblivious to what lies ahead, we’ve been manipulated into believing that if we continue to consume, obey, and have faith, things will work out. But that’s never been true of emerging regimes. And by the time we feel the hammer coming down upon us, it will be too late.

So where does that leave us?

The characters who populate Carpenter’s films provide some insight.

Underneath their machismo, they still believe in the ideals of liberty and equal opportunity. Their beliefs place them in constant opposition with the law and the establishment, but they are nonetheless freedom fighters.

When, for example, John Nada destroys the alien hyno-transmitter in They Live, he restores hope by delivering America a wake-up call for freedom.

That’s the key right there: we need to wake up.

Stop allowing yourselves to be easily distracted by pointless political spectacles and pay attention to what’s really going on in the country.

The real battle for control of this nation is not being waged between Republicans and Democrats in the ballot box.

As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, the real battle for control of this nation is taking place on roadsides, in police cars, on witness stands, over phone lines, in government offices, in corporate offices, in public school hallways and classrooms, in parks and city council meetings, and in towns and cities across this country.

The real battle between freedom and tyranny is taking place right in front of our eyes, if we would only open them.

All the trappings of the American police state are now in plain sight.

Wake up, America.

If they live (the tyrants, the oppressors, the invaders, the overlords), it is only because “we the people” sleep.

For a long time we’ve been taught that evolution is a process that is happening to us. Thankfully we’re living in times where the human race is finally getting a grasp on the fact that we’re actually actively involved in how we evolve as a species.

As humans, our bodies are constantly changing in response to the environment around us. Our muscles change according to whether we choose to use them or not. The enzymes in our digestive system change in response to the foods we choose to eat. Our endocrine system is in a constant feedback loop with our emotions which can change dramatically according to what’s happening in the world around us. As Dr Bruce Lipton put it, “the cell is a carbon-based ‘computer chip’ that reads the environment”, and the field of epigenetics teaches us that our DNA changes in quality – again, according to our environment.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

When science talks about ‘environmental influence’ it seems to imply ‘all that which is outside ourselves’. It’s easy to overlook the fact that that our conscious choices about which environmental factors we engage with are part of what shapes the way our bodies restructure. We are part of the environment that influences our own development; our free will lets us choose and change the environment. We participate in our own evolution during our lifetime and what we do in our own lives can also affect future generations. In this way, personal evolution is collective evolution, and nowhere is personal evolution more apparent than how we are capable of rewiring our own brain.

How Reprogramming the Mind Is Helpful To Us

Humans work really well with routines. We repeat the same pattern over and over, and through neuroplasticity our brain wires itself so that it doesn’t have to think too much about that task anymore, it just runs that established electrical pathway. To riff off Noel Burch, it’s like when we learn to drive a car: we move from unconscious incompetence ‘I don’t know how bad at this I’m going to be’; to conscious competence ‘I now know how bad I am at this’; to conscious competence ‘OK, I can do this but I have to keep my mind on the job’; to unconscious competence ‘I can wind the window down, change the radio, turn a corner and change gears all at the same time, without even thinking about it’.

We program ourselves all the time with repetition, so we don’t have to waste energy engaging isolated focus on every task. The question is whether these are routines we are choosing for ourselves or that have been imposed on us? If they are imposed, are they helpful to us both personally and as a species?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

When Are We Most Easily Able To Wire And Re-wire Our Mind?

During early childhood our brains are wiring themselves for the first time. While this process slows after the intense surge of development in first few years, our brains are still establishing the wiring we will largely use for the rest of our life throughout childhood. When we hit our teenage years we experience the second surge of new wiring and there is an opportunity for patterns to be created during this time that can setup behaviours for years to come. After this period, neuroplasticity still occurs but it just isn’t as fluid as it was before. So you can teach an old dog new tricks, it’s just a slower process.

The problem here is that our subconscious is overhearing everything our conscious mind is hearing, and is therefore to a being programmed by whatever influence we’re being exposed to. The Jesuits knew this 400 years ago. They would boast:

“Give me a child until it’s seven, it will belong to the church for the rest of its life.’” – Dr Bruce Lipton, paraphrasing Jesuit priests.

We Are Always Programming Ourselves

I like to imagine the subconscious mind is like an autopilot system. It is overhearing everything we ever think or say, and it’s mission (in the background and whenever possible) is to guide us towards whatever we want… or at least whatever it thinks we want according to what it overhears. An extra level of challenge is introduced when we imagine that the conscious mind has the capacity for judgment its higher expression – discernment. The subconscious, however, doesn’t have that ability. When it is overhearing everything you think and every word you say it simply hears the topic, not the context. ‘I don’t want to be fat’ with the judgment of ‘I don’t want’ removed becomes the topic only: ‘be fat’. The subconscious ‘overhears’ the topic of what is active in your conscious mind and it is listening for repetition. This is how it figures out for how ready we need to be for that particular thought process.

Repetition Is The Key. Repetition Is The Key.

If we lift weights we are using repetition to say to the muscles, ‘be ready for this, we may need to do this at any moment, so restructure yourself’. Scientists have found the fastest way to get fit is to do interval sprints, which is basically a physical way of saying to the body through repetition ‘you need to restructure yourself so we can sprint at top speed at any time, at the drop of a hat’. Rest, get your breath back and sprint again, over and over. This repetition tells the body that it’s a high priority to restructure and be ready for this at all times. My observation is that the same appears to be true for our brain. When our subconscious overhears our thoughts and words and there is repetition, there is an increased likelihood of neural rewiring. After all – neurons that fire together wire together.

The path of least resistance

When attempting to re-wire an old habit or behaviour pattern, it is useful to remember the old adage from high school science: electricity follows the path of least resistance. Imagine the old pattern as a well-established electrical pathway in your brain. As you put conscious focus into creating a new electrical pathway to replace the old pattern, you make that new electrical pathway fatter. As soon as you stop putting conscious focus into running the new behaviour pattern the electricity will revert to the old cable for as long as it is the fatter of the two cables, as that is the path of least resistance. As soon as the day comes when the new electrical pathway is thicker than the old one you have a new program in your autopilot system, that will now run on it’s own without you needing to focus conscious intention on it. You have reached a level of conscious competence. According to Dan Coyle a key to making the consciously chosen wiring stick is holding the intention that ‘I want to know this for the rest of my life’. Coyle suggests this causes the brain to coat the new electrical pathway in the brain with myelin insulation, making it much more permanent.

Illustration showing myelin coating around nerve fibre

Taking care with the programs we allow our subconscious to overhear

As stated earlier, our autopilot system is taking direction from everything you’re experiencing – which includes the media we watch, the people we surround ourselves with and more. For this reason, one of the most powerful things we can do is exercise discernment around the kind of experiences we expose ourselves to, and their level of intensity and repetition.

“It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” – Frederick Douglass

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

More importantly is the need for extra care in exercising this discernment on behalf of the children in our care and teaching this discernment to teenagers as, in both cases they are in a heightened state of neuroplasticity and are more susceptible to influence. To be clear, I am by no means advocating prudishness or avoidance of the truth, just a higher level of awareness of how we are either consciously or inadvertently being programmed all the time.

In the video below Bruce Lipton speaks passionately on this very subject, citing this discernment on behalf of our children as a clear solution to war and conflict.

Today I would like to return to your awareness an aspect of the Human condition that ventures past the confines of the physical realm and into the vast and infinite beyond. It’s our nature to migrate away from our bodies although we never really think of it that way. It’s not difficult to see that we’re not entirely in one place all of the time. Our thoughts are often elsewhere, transitory and elusive, and virtually immune to the entanglements of time and space. We are free to go anywhere— to visit the past and present and even walk future paths replete with its uncertainties.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

So how much of you are with us at this moment? If you were to hazard a guess what percentage might you come up with? For my part, I feel no more than eighty to ninety percent “here” as I write this article. My ten to twenty has wandered off again, much to the displeasure of my editor who has reminded me I’m up against a deadline. My thoughts typically stray to faraway places and familiar faces. And where my thoughts go— I go.

In the following paragraphs we will use our nets of wonder to try and capture that fleeting butterfly bouncing freely out before us. It’s my supposition that we are mostly where our “thoughts” take us. Here we find that distance is relative. Two people can be a thousand miles apart and still feel closely connected. Likewise, many of us know the feeling of being near someone yet feeling as though they are a million miles away. It’s not enough to be physically close when the butterfly has left the garden.

Welcome to Dream Land

Every night when we fall asleep we are transported to another realm. We do not have a choice in the matter. Try going more than three days without sleep and see what happens. We know the body uses the opportunity for growth, cellular repair and a host of other crucial functions. But where do we go while the body is sleeping and why are we awake in our dreams?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

I find it interesting that we don’t miss being awake while we are sleeping. The thought doesn’t even occur to us. We are often nudged back into consciousness through the help of someone or something. From there it’s often a blurry-eyed trip to the coffee maker. We are told “eight hours” is what we need, though in reality that really depends on the individual. Some function quite well on less sleep, but children and teenagers, and even some grown-ups might require a bit more.

On days we don’t get enough sleep, we sure do miss it. We can’t wait to get home and collapse so we can “drift off” into slumber-land. Nearly a third of our life is consumed by that elusive state we call sleep and yet we really don’t know where we are while we’re there. It’s generally accepted that we don’t go very far, that our brain is the crucible for all our dreams and it’s a contained experience. Though there is logic to that assertion, I don’t fully embrace it. It’s my contention (and other’s too) that the ethereal world is elastic and we are free to move beyond our physical body as it winds down and recharges through rest.

Those who enjoy “lucid” dreaming might have an advantage here. If they are able to walk freely in this realm and turn a few knobs and pull a few levers, there is no telling what they might discover. If they can navigate the oceans of slumber while knowing they are asleep, then the possibilities for self-discovery would seem endless. I’m not gifted with such ability, but if I were I would certainly try to understand the light I was walking under and analyze the structure of my dream. I might also spend a lot more time in bed. So I guess it’s just as well that I don’t lucid dream.

In this “unconscious” state we can visit with relatives who have passed on and even reunite with beloved pets. We can also connect with the living in ways uniquely different from the physical world. Twins are known to communicate while in a dream state. It’s my understanding that they will sometimes see their twin in a dream, then later call to tell them about it. Of course, the other twin already knows of the dream having seen their sibling too.

The passion from a lost “twin flame” can also bubble up in dream land. Here’s an opportunity to say the things that were never said and to maybe even embrace one last time. Here the emotional energy is just as intense as it would be in a physical state— and sometimes even greater. There are also countless stories of wives who dreamt of their husbands while they were stationed in combat zones in foreign countries. Sometimes the dreams were foretelling of a serious incident or tragedy. Such events serve to further my sense that we can’t possibly stay in our bodies while we sleep.

The best that I can surmise is that the essence of who we are is mostly “there” when we are asleep and mostly “here” while we’re awake. In either case we’re not fully 100% in one place or another since we’re capable of “drifting” in and out even when fully conscious. So this space that some call the astral realm is neither here or there. It’s everywhere.

Here, There and Everywhere

It seems to me that we are not firmly anchored in place by our physical bodies. Our minds are free to “wander” and drift about while only lightly tethered to the Earth. And why is this so? The physical realm has much to offer in the way of tactile stimulation and there is much to be gained from this experience. But consciousness enjoys freedom, although it likes having a place to call home. In a sense we have the best of both worlds, spiritual and material. What we find, however, is that people far too often embrace the material world and find solace in their possessions. I would like to remind such souls of a rather well-worn expression; “you can’t take it with you.”

What you can take, perhaps, is the memory of the experience, the sensation and the lesson embodied within it. Like telling people of a fascinating trip or of a new coaster ride at the amusement park— you can explain the experience in great length and detail, but what it meant to you is what matters most.

And so we “think outside the box” and we “drift away” in our sleep and we “float on Cloud 9” and we were so angry we “were outside ourselves.” These are but a few examples of how we describe this external awareness. The empathic can “feel your pain” and when a favorite ball player hits the ball out of the stadium we can feel his (or her) excitement. Is this energy in the ether? Are we in the ether?

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

Zoned Out

That’s what some have accused me of being at times. This goes back all the way to grade school when teachers mistakenly identified me as a “clock watcher”. I did ignore the teacher, true. But I was not captivated by the clock either. I would frequently drift away from where I was to escape the prison I felt around me.

This “zoning out” was really a very natural state for me to be in. A zoned out state is not a neutral state. It’s a very intense, highly focused state. It does correctly imply that you’re “not there,” but you are somewhere, and you are somewhere in a big way. Creative people can readily identify with this elusive state. It can, however, create a somewhat vacant stare which I admit I’ve been guilty of wearing from time to time.

Where we go when zoned-out I cannot exactly say. New understandings in the quantum world are expanding our awareness on a diverse array of subjects ranging from non-locality and telepathy to OBE’s and related astral projection. All I know is that I go somewhere, and somewhere is not always here.

Final Thought

So where are we when we’re not here? I’ll leave the question with you. Is this a cop-out on my part? -Perhaps. All I can say is we’re not always where we think we are. The body serves as an excellent interface with the physical world, but at times it can seem almost as though it were remotely controlled. To say we are continually held in place by our physical body is like saying a raincloud will never surrender a drop of water. Sooner or later thoughts will wander and stray and raindrops will fall in a staccato rhythm consistent with the mood and energy of the moment.

I don’t know exactly where I go, but I know I’m not always here. For me, that’s at least a start toward understanding the ultimate transition or metamorphosis when we surrender our physical body to the elements. On that midnight train we might find that all the answers we work so hard to uncover were right before us the whole time. We didn’t see them because we doubted our own abilities. We didn’t loosen our grip on all those things we accepted as truth. Instead we bought into phony concepts of reality where we were told how helpless and sinful we were. There is no place for higher awareness in this void we call social order and so we never learn to use the spiritual tools imbued within us.

We are social entities, you and I. We are solidly individual and we are also collective. Yes, we are both. We cannot flourish just as individuals nor can we survive as a collective. But we do quite well in both worlds and in varying measure. So we’re a little bit here and a little bit there and always somewhere. But wherever you may find yourself, you are never alone. And the butterfly will fly.

-Until next time

turning beyond

All around us, things seem to be breaking down. Many of us, who are seeing the hopelessness of trying to effect change in the outer world, are turning within for solutions. But somehow the whole idea of turning within rings a little hollow, knowing all the suffering and insanity that is going on all around us. We still keep thinking there must be a way to help “out there”, to bring about positive change in the world. So we keep struggling with the outer world, because turning within is considered “selfish”. And indeed it can be, if not done in the right spirit.

So my question is, is there another alternative? How about turning beyond? How would that be? Is there a way to transcend, AND be effective in the relative world? To truly be in the world but not of it? To stand before it arises, with eyes wide open, and to see right through all of it? and thereby be a fire that effortlessly burns the false?

more here than here

And by “beyond” i mean what is even more here than here. This “Beyond” is not somewhere else. And, the word “turning” is not really accurate, either, because Beyond has no direction, it is All-Pervading. “Turning” implies focusing attention, but Beyond is the realm of No-Attention.

The “outer” is a field of attention. The “inner” is a field of attention. But the Beyond, the Eternal, is the field of No-Attention. It cannot be reached by any method or mode of attention. So to access the realm of No-Attention requires a paradoxical understanding and method.

Perhaps when we are “turned beyond” we will be equally at home and effective within or without, because then we are grounded in the great integrating Radiant Force of that which is beyond all opposites, and which reveals the hidden unity behind all apparent polarities. For me, “non-duality” is not complete, until all seeming opposites are integrated, viscerally, in the body, not just transcended.

butterfly effective

But what if this slight but profound adjustment from “within” to “beyond” is actually way more powerful than we think? Perhaps if we can truly be total about it, our entire world will turn inside out, and this will open up an immense storehouse of energy and insight that we can share with the world, just naturally, moment to moment. Perhaps this is the only way to be truly effective, even. When we meet our true expression, is when we begin to become truly effective, even when apparently doing little more than simply existing. We could call this being butterfly effective. Things begin to work on their own, in mysterious and synchronistic ways you never could have imagined.

And this turning within/beyond is also spiraled. It is in the shape of the torus, and has the irrational infinite harmonics of the Fibonacci series. It is not as simple as gazing at one’s navel. But it is our natural state, so it is also effortless. We have to engage it with precision and delicate insight, and persist with love, and moment to moment surrender into the current, and we WILL distill the nectar : ananda or bliss.

(note in this picture the unity point at the center of the torus)

The term ‘bliss’ has been so abused that most of us have a complete misunderstanding of what it is, and have lost connection to how to access it. I believe that the work of resurrecting our bliss process is the single most important and effective thing we could do, both for ourselves and for the world, and in this essay i would like to explore why that is, and how to re-member it, in other words, how to actually re-embody it.

bliss is parasite repellent : true protection

We have seen a lot coming into the collective awareness in the last few years about the Parasite. The astrological configuration of Uranus square Pluto since around 2010 has given many of us a chance to see through the veil much more clearly, and those of us with our vision intact have been seeing that there is an extra-dimensional parasitic agenda going on. This was introduced to us also in the 70s in the works of Castaneda, and his stories of the shaman Don Juan who referred to “the Flyers”, invisible parasitic beings who feed on our energy and light. Of course this topic goes back millennia, as it is a major theme here on planet Earth. In fact it has most likely been with humanity since the beginning. The ancient Gnostic teachings (the Nag Hammadi texts) also refer to the archons, parasitic 4th dimensional entities for whom the human realm is little more than a farm, and humans are their cattle.

“i just want to know about your different lives, on this here people farm” – Jimi Hendrix

Lately it has really come out of the closet, this agenda, and is full-on in our faces. Only those who are still fast asleep are failing to notice the manifestations and ramifications of this, at least on some level. And those of us who are engaged in this mother of all battles with these entities are going through deep and extensive changes, trying to understand what they are and how to deal with them, and how to ultimately be free of them.

Sri Aurobindo made it very clear:

“Looking at all that is and has been happening in human history – the eye of the Yogin sees not only the outward events and persons and causes, but the enormous forces which precipitate them into action. If the men who fought were instruments in the hands of rulers and financiers, these in turn were mere puppets in the clutch of those [occult hyperdimensional] forces. When one is habituated to see the things behind, one is no longer prone to be touched by the outward aspects – or to expect any remedy from political, institutional or social changes. The only way out is through the descent of an [embodied] consciousness which is not the puppet of these forces but is greater than they are.”
~ Sri Aurobindo

That “descent of embodied consciousness” is our bliss, and is the true protection.

our magic tortoise

Recently, while listening to the brilliant scientist Dan Winter, he made a comment that struck me. And that is, that we are ALL parasites, IF we are looking to the apparent outside world for our bliss.

Our bliss is our Pure Consciousness, and is the fountain of eternal life. It IS eternal. We have access to it, always, as we let go into the Luminous Field in which our own body/mind is presently arising. But it is SO innate to us, even closer than home, that we miss it. It is like failing to notice the space in which everything arises, because we are so mesmerized by what is arising in that space.

But as long as we persist in trying to access this bliss through situations and beings in the seeming “outside world” (which sages throughout history, and lately even scientists have determined is an illusion), we fall into the trap of the Parasite, which monitors this world, like a hidden master, manipulating the levers of this “reality”. Through the program of the Parasite, we are convinced that there is a way to access this Unconditional Happiness, somewhere “out there” in conditions, in the hologram. And that is precisely how our energy is harvested.

The I Ching alerts us to this dilemma:

from the I Ching, hexagram 27, “Providing Nourishment, line 1:

“Nine at the beginning means:
You let your magic tortoise go,
And look at me with the corners of your mouth drooping.
Misfortune.

The magic tortoise is a creature possessed of such supernatural powers that it lives on air and needs no earthly nourishment. The image means that a man fitted by nature and position to live freely and independently renounces this self-reliance and instead looks with envy and discontent at others who are outwardly in better circumstances. But such base envy only arouses derision and contempt in those others. This has bad results.“

So, the best way to combat the Parasite is to cease giving it our energy, by allowing our attention to fall back to its source, the Infinite Well of Being, the portal to which is in the heart. To be free of the Parasite, STOP BEING A PARASITE! We each have our own source of infinite power and energy, and we are required, sooner or later, to wake up to this fact. This will eventually lead us to the process of initiation, into the Great Work. The change is very simple, almost nothing, but, paradoxically, it is also an ordeal which requires our innate superhuman intelligence and skill to pass through,

All roads lead to our uniqueness

Everyone’s spiritual awakening process is unique. Due to our different conditioning and conditions of life, each one of us will have a particular way to proceed with the unwinding of our conditioning, and once realization happens, we will each have a unique expression of that awakening. I believe that the astrology chart can be helpful in this respect.

It is important to note, too, that spiritual awakening, or enlightenment, will dissolve the sense of separate self, or ego, but will NOT destroy the individuality. In fact, it will be the first time our true individuality will be able to manifest. This is an important point to be very clear on. Also, there is no end to the initiations that one passes through. But clearly there is a “point of no return”, a threshold.

There is a New Age assumption, quite probably based in social engineering, that once we realize enlightenment we will just be blissfully happy all the time, in a positive emotional state, all our problems will cease, and we will dissolve into this cloud of nebulous groupthink where we will no longer have a unique expression or point of view. Often, this state is described as being “blissed out”.

This kind of bliss, which is on sale at new age festivals and the like, is NOT what i am referring to. It is not some kind of “enlightened behavior” that one cranks up when “on the scene”.

Aquarius Leo polarity

This is the Aquarius without the Leo, in the Aquarius/ Leo polarity. But like i’ve said before, only when a polarity like this is resolved and integrated, do we really see the positive sides of both signs manifest.

Aquarius without Leo is a crowd of people, keeping their heads down, not wanting to stand out, following along without questioning the narrative (however “revolutionary”) of the crowd. Leo is the one who stands out on his own, goes his own way, and finds his own unique expression. When these two polarities work together, this is when we have a balanced awakening, for the individual, and the society. A society of awakened, creative, and sovereign individuals. Has that ever happened before? Doesn’t look like it, but there’s no time like the present.

more on the Leo Aquarius polarity here: from selfies to Self-realization: resolving the Leo/Aquarius polarity

I like the word “individual”:

“late Middle English (in the sense ‘indivisible’): from medieval Latin individualis, from Latin individuus, from in- ‘not’ + dividuus ‘divisible’ (from dividere ‘to divide’).”

So an individual is someone who is undivided, and not separate from Source, and from All. But also, (or perhaps i should say, because of that,) an individual is someone who is unique, unlike anyone else. It is a paradox that the mediocre mind just cannot contain.

We are not talking about ego here. We are talking about our unique expression, which comes to full flower when we awaken to the Transcendental Truth of who we truly are. To many, enlightenment may seem like some kind of airy-fairy pie-in-the-sky idea that could never possibly happen, perhaps some idealistic “mindset”, but we only have to look into the lives of all those who have affirmed it in their own case, to see that we may not be in a position to judge one way or the other. Just because it hasn’t dawned on you yet, doesn’t mean it is impossible.

absolute certainty

This is not the kind of thing anyone can convince anyone about. And no one but you is in the position to confess your own awakening. But no one is going to congratulate you either, or give you a medal. You will get no “certificate”, in fact, it is very likely no one will even notice. And, quite possibly, people will hate you for it. Jesus is a good example of what can happen. But, paradoxically, your awakened nature needs to express itself, and will find the way to do so, no matter what. It becomes a kind of imperative.

When it happens, you’ll know it, and chances are, no one else will even care. If you aren’t sure, then it hasn’t happened yet. When it happens you will have absolute certainty about it, and, in fact, more and more, it will really be the only “thing” that you do have absolute certainty about. And the need to know anything for sure besides that, will also effortlessly fall away. It will not solve your problems, but it will dissolve them, along with their source, the I-thought.

And here’s the kicker: when you become one with this “thing” that nobody notices, you most likely will become invisible. No one will notice you, either. The Narcissus in us does not like this idea at all. But, being invisible has its merits.

sat-chit-ananda

In Sanskrit there is the term “sat-chit-ananda” which means “existence (and truth), consciousness, bliss”. The implication is that Existence (Pure Existence Itself), or Truth (sat), is itself bliss, or ananda. All these three qualities are one and the same. So that implies that merely to exist is blissful. We can see this in animals way more than in humans. Animals have no problem with simply existing, but to humans, this is boring. We need “entertainment”, i.e. distraction, or at least we think we do. In my view, this need for distraction from our own completion, is due to the fear of dissolution of separate self, and the birth of true individuality. Hence the entire entertainment industry, whose main purpose, it seems to me, is to distract you from yourself.

SAT is Truth. We will not arrive to bliss if we cannot face, and then BE the truth, as SAT = ANANDA. Relative truth is the doorway to the ultimate truth. We will never know ultimate Truth if we cannot face relative truth, i.e. WHATEVER is true about our experience here and now. Our love for the truth, for What IS, becomes our only motivation.

So remember, if you buy the cultural lie, in any shape or form, you will not have full, if any, access to your own bliss, your own infinite “bank account”, the well of Eternal Being. Because bliss is one and the same as TRUTH. SAT=ANANDA. And when you buy the lie, you forgo the truth, and thus you are food for the Parasite. It’s that simple. You can borrow its “power” for a time, but in the end it eats you.

the solution to everything is closer than you think

So what this all boils down to, is that if we can slow ourselves down, relax, and free our attention from all the ways it is bound, we will begin to become blissful naturally and spontaneously, because it is the very substance of our pure existence. There is nothing that can be done about it. It is more a question of stopping doing, although that cannot be forced. Stopping doing can become a doing. So we have a riddle, a Koan, on our hands, and the answer to the riddle is going to have to be paradoxical.

Savior Self

Ever since i was a child i always had the feeling that the Second Coming of Christ, the Savior, was actually going to be inside every one of us, and not some being who comes from the outside to save us. And now i am certain of it. There is not going to be anything or anyone in the outer world that comes to “save” us. We have to discover and remember the Christ within us. As Osho always said: “Be a Christ, not a Christian”.

Now to many of us, the idea of being a Christ oneself is actually blasphemous. But that is just the pollution of the church in our minds. And the church is a big part of how we were hacked, so be careful. Because if you resurrect the Christ within you, they are OUT OF A JOB. So, much as they go on and on about Christ, God, and the like, for you to realize your eternal Christ-nature is the LAST thing they want you to do. So they have invented elaborate fairy tales, myths, and stories, which may be symbolic hints at something, but they are all meant as entertainment, distraction, to keep your attention bound in the illusion, the Maya, of the outer world.

Yes, the program of lies always contains a bit of truth, because it knows that we will not be attracted without it. And yes, we have bullshit detectors, although they need to be dusted off, rebooted, and upgraded. So they put the little tidbit of truth on the hook of religion, like a worm on the fisherman’s hook. It is bait, to lure you in. But then you are stuck there in their system, waiting for these little crumbs, these handouts of half truths, just enough to keep you coming back, but definitely not enough to liberate you. Have you noticed this problem? And it is in ALL the religions, but especially the “big 3”, the Abrahamic ones. Their function is to keep you lost, in the dark, and suffering. And all it takes is one blissful moment to see through the entire lie, and you will never be the same again. So the church has a great investment in making sure even one moment like that does not happen. (This is not to say that there are not good and sincere people in all religions, or that one cannot realize in the context of a religion. But it is clearly time for an upgrade.)

So resurrecting your own direct connection to Source is a must. And to me, this is the essence of being a true Gnostic. It is actually spiritual science. These two, spirituality and science, at their highest expression, are actually one and the same.

JeSuis Christ

And what is Christ exactly? Too often the Christ is conflated with Jesus, but it is obvious, (isn’t it?) , that although associated, they are two distinct “things”. Jesus the man may or may not have existed, but how can we really know for sure? Admit it, it’s all hearsay ! None of us were there in person.

There is much debate about the history of Jesus the man, which is, once again, i feel, just to distract from the point, which is that Christ IS real, and is NOW, and is eternal and is always accessible.

To me, the Christ is the miraculous ability we all have, at least potentially, to actually BE the Divine, Pure Infinite Conscious Bliss, here and now, in this seemingly limited form, this body. A Fractal of the Whole, which contains it ALL. Think hologram. Christ is the holographic CRYSTal within us. To be Infinite and finite simultaneously. The “Son (Sun) of God”. It is such a perfect Miracle, that simply to recognize it as your True Self is ecstatic (another totally misunderstood term). It is the ultimate paradox, but there is nothing religious about it. It is actually part of our natural capacity here, but like i said, it has been hacked and disconnected in us, and then couched in a lot of obscure mysticism, to keep us enslaved.

We can see this described in a different way here:

Rudolf Steiner on the Etheric Christ:

“Almost a hundred years ago, as if peering into a crystal ball and predicting the future, spiritual teacher and clairvoyant Rudolf Steiner prophesied that the most momentous event of modern times was what he referred to as the incarnation of the etheric Christ. By the “etheric Christ,” Steiner is referring to a modern-day version of Christ’s resurrection body, which can be conceived of as being a creative, holy and whole-making spirit that is inspiring human evolution as it operates upon the body of humanity through the collective unconscious of our species. Involving a radically new understanding of a timeless spiritual event, the etheric Christ, instead of incarnating in full-bodied physical form, is approaching via the realm of spirit—as close as this immaterial spirit can get to the threshold of the third-dimensional physical world without incarnating in materialized form. To quote Steiner, “Christ’s life will be felt in the souls of men more and more as a direct personal experience from the twentieth century onwards.” ~Paul Levy

bliss as electricity

I have been happy to come across the work of Dan Winter recently, and it has helped me connect a lot of dots on this subject. He has given us a beautiful understanding of the bliss process as being actually an ELECTRICAL phenomenon, really quite a scientific explanation, with none of the religious baggage attached to it.

I do not have the scientific background he has, in particular his background as an electrical engineer, so i recommend studying his work. But one thing that he says that resonated immediately for me is that bliss is an IMPLOSIVE process, and he has the science to back it up. Now this is a word i never would have thought of to describe it, but the minute i saw that it was a total AHA! Of course. To me, that is exactly how it feels.

Dan also associates bliss with gravity, another insight that i never would have thought of, because it is also pure grace, but nonetheless, to me that also makes perfect sense. He calls it a centripetal force, which is the opposite of centrifugal. So it is the tendency for everything to move towards the center, rather than away from it. And then, my favorite, he also says that it is a NEGENTROPIC force, which is something that goes against entropy. We could say, it is the force that makes things “come together”. In other words, LIFE !

Check out Dan’s work here: http://www.goldenmean.info/

Seems to me an essential component if we are to “come together as one”, which so many of us seems to want to see happen these days. And of course, no one is going to “do” your bliss process for you. This is your responsibility, and yours alone.

In my previous article, “Freedom is an Inside Job”, i mentioned entropy: “Imagine the possibilities! Imagine a reality without entropy, that pesky tendency that everything seems to have to eventually gradually fall apart, die and decay.”

Therefore it seems vital, quite literally, that we recognize the difference between entropy and negentropy, and align ourselves accordingly.

the key to our resurrection

So i was thrilled to find this scientific confirmation in Dan Winter’s work, that this “fractal implosion” of bliss, is in fact negentropic. This means that yes, Eternity exists, and is real, and can manifest in this dimension. And that in fact, it is a fundamental, if not the fundamental component of our existence here. We ARE eternal beings, and our bliss process is the key to our resurrection, to the resurrection of the Christic capacity within each one of us.

The implications go on and on. With negentropy, the whole paradigm of death and decay and falling apart of everything, the centrifugal force, is counteracted. So this means that awakening and stewarding our bliss process is the single most important “thing” we could “do” for ourselves, AND the world. Yes, it looks like nothing, but that’s the paradox. It is everything.

So first, you resurrect your bliss process, and then it resurrects YOU, resurrects the Christ within you, so that you may lead a new life, the life eternal. And then it begins to work through you spontaneously on the world around you. And this is something really worth investigating, because for the first time, it means we can become truly and effortlessly effective here.

the bliss beyond bliss

I’d like to make some distinctions about bliss, at least in my experience, as i feel we need to sharpen our understanding of just what it is. Like i said, I feel that it is the root of the solution for our world, that each one of us be able to access, to resurrect, if you will, our own bliss process. But we’ve been sold a kind of starry eyed, rose colored glasses version of bliss that completely avoids its transformational fire. Hence, we may be missing what is right under our nose, because we are looking for something different.

First of all, my feeling is that the quality of the “experience” of bliss changes considerably when one graduates to a consistent connection with it, rather than something that one accesses only once in a while. Perhaps a better way to describe it is that moment when one’s “center of gravity” shifts, for good, to the constant awareness of oneself AS one’s essence, or pure Existence. Once again, this observation comes from my own direct “experience”. It could be argued, and probably has been, that it is actually a different kind of bliss, the “bliss beyond bliss”. Either way, in my view, there is a distinct difference. And this “bliss beyond bliss” is not about “getting high” or escaping in any way. On the contrary, it is Absolute Gravity, in the Eternal Here and Now.

inhabiting a lightning bolt

For someone who rarely has access to it, it can be an incredible relief from the self-contracted existence. We have a momentary glimpse into our eternal Nature, which can be a powerful experience that even if we cannot sustain it, we will certainly remember as a kind of milestone, and can give us the impetus we need to continue in the process of reconnecting and re-membering it. So it can feel intensely pleasurable, in contrast with the tight and limited perspective of the small and separate “self”.

However, once the bliss current awakens permanently in one, once it becomes one’s everyday reality, i’d like to suggest, that the quality of how one experiences it changes. Because in order to awaken the bliss current to a sustainable condition, one has to transcend oneself, and the whole world of opposites, including positive/negative, good/bad. And this is an ongoing, moment to moment process which can be very intense at times because the current can be relentless.

Whereas before, one can experience a momentary opening into bliss as a very “positive” experience, when one enters into the current as an ongoing state, now one no longer experiences it as positive or negative, or even as an experience. Could you call your True Nature, who and what you truly ARE, an experience? If anything, it is who or what is aware of experiencing AND participating actively in the creation, through the imagination.

A good analogy is that of electricity. Electricity by itself is neither good or bad, positive or negative (although it works in polarity), but it can be experienced in either way depending on the conditions. So embodying the bliss current is much like conducting an electrical current. In fact i think that this is not really a metaphor, but rather exactly what happens. Bliss is an electrical event, just as, we are beginning to notice, the entire universe is.

Dan Winter also refers to it as inhabiting a lightning bolt. Does that sound like something “pleasurable”?

“The day when we shall know exactly what “electricity” is, will chronicle an event probably greater, more important than any other recorded in the history of the human race.” ~Nikola Tesla

a continuous orgasm

So when one is in continuous union with this current, one can go through a myriad of interpretations of it, from intensely pleasurable to painful even. Another good analogy is that of an orgasm, which for most people is the closest to bliss that they can attain in this life. In orgasm, one dissolves in a kind of momentary death (petit mort in French) that is intensely pleasurable, but so much so that it also almost hurts as well. After all, it’s a death!

Imagine being in an orgasm constantly. Yes, pleasure, but also pain. The two merge in an enigmatic sensation that is often not what i would call enjoyable, in the conventional sense. It is beyond any description like that. You will find, that your attempts to describe it will circle around it, without ever being able to touch it.

So imagine trying to function in the world while in a constant orgasm. This is going to make some things very hard to do. Imagine going shopping at a mall, driving in traffic, walking through an intense city, or going to work, especially to a job you do not like, in a state of continuous orgasm. We are going to have to learn to function at a whole other level, and we are going to find that there are many things we used to do, that we just cannot do any more. And we are probably going to want to live in a natural and peaceful environment as much as possible. Eventually our “circuitry” adapts to it, but not without a complete overhaul of our life and priorities.

I believe this is part of the reason people are so afraid of truly accessing their bliss. To be sure, it will change everything about your life. If you have ever tried to interface with “the world”, i.e., everyday life, while on LSD or some other psychedelic, you can have some idea of the challenges. You have become super sensitive to “vibes”, you instantly see beneath the surface of people’s motives, you feel the energy behind phenomena, you feel the suffering of all, and you become very careful about who and what you expose yourself to. Because you see clearly, how the “world” is really set up to crush this impulse, rather than support it. You gradually begin to notice there is a war going on here.

ecstatic electricity

So, when bliss is not always available, we tend to make it into some kind of extraordinary state, a “positive” kind of “experience” that we can “have”, and later collect as a memory. And we can even turn that memory into a substitute for the bliss process altogether.

But when we become established in the bliss process, it slowly but surely erodes all sense of stability in the physical world, while at the same time reconnecting us with the true stability, that of Being itself. Once one starts to embody this stability, it can be felt in the body as absolute solidity, even a physically palpable kind of thickness or pressure, way more solid even than the physical “reality”. This is the bedrock of existence. Its solidity is eternal.

The electrical current finds its True Ground in a force field that is beyond solid. When this level of solidity begins to integrate into the body, the sense of being grounded can be nothing short of ecstatic.

passing through the eye of a needle

Remember, Sat-Chit-Ananda. Truth, existence, bliss, are all one and the same. Bliss is the very nature of our being, and inseparable from Truth itself. That’s why one cannot attain any kind of stability in bliss if one is in any way living a lie. Lies and bliss cannot coexist.

As Dan Winter so eloquently puts it, only “shareable ideas” can pass through the zero-point into infinity (this is my paraphrasing of Dan Winter, of course). Lies are not shareable ideas. They are not of the right frequency to embed into the bliss current, and if we cling to them, they will obstruct our passage through the Zero Point into the Infinite Genius of our True Nature. So, seems to me, step number one would be, to be honestespecially with yourself.

I believe this is the true meaning of Jesus’ saying about passing through the eye of a needle. One who hoards, and cannot share, will not be able to make this transition to blissful existence. it is really just physics, nothing mystical about it at all. The zero/infinity point at the center of the torus IS the eye of the needle. Only shareable ideas can pass through.

consensus nodes

Another thing to be aware of, and once again, this is from my own experience. As one “comes online” with the bliss current, one begins to notice that one is part of a network, and this network is increasing in power daily. I would call this being a “consensus node” in this network of supernal light, Conscious Light (as Adi Da calls it), (the “Organic Light” of the Gnostics,) that is being established here on Earth. It is to really become an “earth assistant” if you will. John Lash’s term for someone like this is from the Gnostics: Telestes: which means “one who is aimed”.

I borrowed this term “consensus node” from the blockchain, as i feel that blockchain technology is a kind of outer reflection of something new that is happening within us. In blockchain technology, all the computers on a network reach consensus nearly simultaneously, in other words, every computer on the network shows the exact same information, about any transaction. This is what makes it unhackable. There are several technologies being developed now, in which any user at home can host on their computer one of the “consensus nodes” on the blockchain, which means that their computer’s extra processing power can be used for the overall work of the network, as one of the nodes which comes to consensus with all the other nodes.

So when we connect with this bliss network we all automatically come into unhackable consensus with Life Itself. The Parasite has no access to this Domain. It is the best protection one can have. All those of us in the bliss process are on the same page, even though we are simultaneously unique individuals (Aquarius/Leo). It is an instant understanding, an intuitive consensus, that needs no outside confirmation.

So what we notice, is that now we can allow our “processing power” to be used by the entire network, which is powering up the new vision, and resisting the archontic disruption of the web of life on earth. We can donate our consciousness to the pool, and it will expand exponentially. I believe this is why those of us who awaken can at times feel exhausted for no apparent reason. We are working on another level, processing the liberation of the planet within this radical (root) network, even while sleeping. But to someone who is not awakening their true potential, this idea can seem completely preposterous.

Once again, this is what i would call being “butterfly effective”.

In the past it used to be very few people working at this level. Hence the renunciates living in hermitage, working on humanity on an invisible level. Nowadays, with so many people beginning to awaken, the power of this network has gotten formidable, and it will only increase exponentially from here. That is my take on it, at least, for what it’s worth.

Kabir Das Sant

I want to give you an example of the butterfly effect. Could it be that the reason humanity has not destroyed itself yet, by nuclear war or whatever other catastrophe, is because of this man? Have a listen here, he starts around the 2 minute mark.

If you ask me to prove it is so, well, i would ask you to prove to me, that it is not so.  We’re still here, aren’t we? that’s my proof, what’s yours?

This is how the butterfly effect works.

To the caterpillar, the butterfly effect seems impossible, but to the butterfly, it is obvious.

bliss is contagious

Another thing about bliss is that it is contagious. This is how Dan Winter has described it. Hence the tradition of Satsang, with a master who embodies it. The student can attune himself to the teacher/master, and then the spark can jump, the circuit can reconnect. I can attest to this in my own case. In only takes a moment of mutual recognition, as really it takes place outside of time.

But perhaps in an expanded and “enhanced” version of the student/teacher paradigm, we can explore the mutuality of respectful friendship as an equally valuable way to pass it on. If you can sit in silent communion with friends who have awakened the bliss current in themselves, then perhaps you can pick up the “knack” yourself. It is a matter of sympathetic resonance. And together with others, the current can be magnified exponentially.

Of course that is going to require your ability to discern and feel whether someone is in communion with this condition or not, which means you will have to already know it. And guess what: you do. In short, it takes one to know one. It takes oneness to know oneness. You will not receive anything from anyone else, this is in you already, and has to be awakened within YOU. It only need take a moment, if you are ripe. If not, it will take as long as it takes, if you believe in time.

It is like if you sing with others who sing in tune, perhaps you will sing in tune too. It is a matter of tuning yourself, like an instrument, and like a radio. Adjust the tuner, to receive the frequency, and then the communication. And when you begin vibrating in this frequency, then you become contagious too. And this is Satsang, the company of Truth. Good Company. Be with those who raise your vibration into one of bliss, because they exist there already.

true bliss (ananda) is not an emotional state

But don’t be fooled by the incomplete version of bliss. It is not a “positive emotion”. It is not an emotion at all, and is beyond positive or negative. It is not a “peak experience”, except before it becomes the established condition in which you live. it is not about “feeling good”, “blissed out”, or comfortable, or “having fun”, it is about becoming 100% real. It is often unbearable. There is no comfort per se in it, or discomfort for that matter, unless and until you can become comfortable with free falling through space. Eventually you will be able to relax and conduct this kind of force, but it takes the body some time to understand how to exist in this way, as it is so radically new.

The way i see it, bliss has nothing to do with self-indulgent pleasure, although it can be intensely pleasurable at times. It is more a responsibility. If you want to see the world made whole, you will, sooner or later, have to engage yourself in this process, which is, at its root, self-sacrifice, and self-transcendence.

And then, once attention is free, wherever you put your attention is made whole.

We will gradually recalibrate to it, and the entire experience of being in body will radically change. This is still pretty much uncharted territory, a whole new world of possibility.

I would also like to stress that, at least in my experience, this is an actual psycho-physical process, that is palpably felt (often very intensely) even at a physical level. It is way more than just an “attitude” or a “mindset”. In fact, it ends up obliterating all “mindsets” in pure primal Radiance without qualifications. That is why just reading about it in a book is unlikely to bring about the requisite transformation. It requires you to do the difficult work of radical self-undoing, whatever it takes.

These are just some more of my observations in the continuity of awakening. It is a never ending process of initiations, into higher, more refined frequencies, which will eventually even release us from the need to inhabit a physical vehicle. But while we are here, let’s live the physical world with such depth and sensitivity, that it transforms from a prison into a prism.

Crossing the threshold is the first step into the new reality, in which our siddhis, our superpowers, begin to awaken. This is when the actual “fun” begins. We then see that it is endless, this unfolding into multi-dimensional being, and that the learning will never stop, even when we pass beyond the need for physical incarnation.

Psychotronic millimeter wave weaponry is coming to a street near you, with the potential to unleash disease on a mass scale. Welcome to the new fifth generation of wi-fi called 5G, where the speed to send full-length, high-definition movies to your ipad is ten times faster.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

The Consequences

The need for speed has the consequence of going from moderate to severe health effects in record time. Note that 4G operates at 2.5 GHz or oscillates about 2.5 billion times per second. This frequency mimics water molecules in your body, and was chosen specifically for broadcasting services and equipment under government license. This means that all company products must meet this frequency or be deemed illegal. For what purpose is matching the human body’s frequency, you may ask, other than for weaponization? Good question.

The higher frequencies of 5G–100 GHz and beyond–will use small-scale wireless refrigerator-sized boxes, placed in front of every 2-10 homes on every street, in every city. As you watch the latest Hollywood flick, you will bask, unaware, in microwave emissions that oscillate at the same rate as your blood and oxygen molecules. These frequencies can cause burning sensations on your skin, impact fertility, as well as alter the electrochemical waves of your brain to affect consciousness.

Awaiting Installation of 5G

Secret testing of 5G emissions made its debut during the 2018 Olympics, and then again at the 2018 Super Bowl where over 67,000 people were part of a stress-test without their consent. Soon, the 5G antennae networks will be beta tested in nineteen U.S. cities including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, and San Jose. High frequency 5G signals travel shorter distances and are easily blocked by buildings and trees. What is the point? Why create new technology that takes humanity in reverse?  No time for answers. It’s full steam ahead to remove the obstacles that block the signals.

First the trees.

Direct Fires and Poisoning Trees

Many people in California report that the extensive “weird fires”  are destroying trees and leaving homes untouched. Everything does not burn.  At other times, the metal of cars and rails burned with the leaves on trees, leaving tree trunks and kindling. Could these unusual fires be the result of lasers from Directed Energy Weapons?  Whole forests have been devastated down straight lines, obeying fence lines. Add to that, the sanctioned poisoning of hardwood trees by timber companies that has led to over one million dead trees to create a fire hazard.

READ: 5G NETWORK USES SAME EMF WAVES AS PENTAGON CROWD CONTROL SYSTEM

Are the trees being destroyed merely to unblock hazardous signals? Is this treason/tree-son on multiple levels? These same millimeter waves have been used by the U.S. Army as a crowd control dispersal weapon called Active Denial Systems. Firefighters in Sacramento have reported memory problems and confusion following the installation of new towers in Los Angeles in 2004. Some cities, including Santa Rosa, have halted their 5G plans while health concerns are addressed.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Tree Towers

The power of trees keep us calm by acting on our autonomic nervous system, as well as our spirit. Numerous studies show a dose-response relationship between urban tree cover density and self-reported stress recoveryStudies show reduced physiological markers of stress in subjects simply looking at images of nature.

Unless we can stand up, speak up, collaborate and network, we risk being victims of the attack coming at us unseen, as millimeter waves are directed at our bodies and minds. If we feel powerless and isolated now, imagine what it will feel like once the new networks are installed and operational. Image what it will be like when the trees are replaced with towers that look like trees. We only feel isolated when we work alone and isolate ourselves. Like a forest, there is strength in numbers.

Camilla Reese of Electromagnetichealth.org says we are facing actions at the federal and FCC levels that will create a dense network of high-intensity 4G and 5G microwave radiating cellular antennas in front of homes across America. Moreover, federal legislation, S 3157, would severely reduce local revenues, shorten review times for applications and curtail local control over siting of cell towers.  Camilla says the movement to stop this rollout is necessary for health but is also about getting corporate money out of politics and building an independent media not dependent on toxic polluters and the corruption driving it.

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

Health Effects of 5G

Because 5G frequencies affect oxygen molecules, they affect all biological systems, including DNA, circadian rhythm, heart function, hormonal regulation, and immune system. Hundreds of scientists have expressed concern that humans may experience serious health risks including increases in blindness, cataracts, retinal degeneration, hearing loss, male infertility, cancers, peripheral nervous system damage, impacts on immune cells, red blood cells leading to low cellular oxygen, and impaired transport of nutrients into cells. Impacts on birds and plants may be more severe than the impacts on humans.

Beyond direct effects to health, harmful frequencies threaten society as a whole by ignoring the human right to informed-consent to high levels of radiation. All life on the planet has a right to health and a healthy life. By accepting the 5G rollout without a discussion, as happened with the airport scanners, we give up sovereignty over our bodies and accelerate our demise. These frequencies ionize metals being sprayed into the atmosphere under military “geo-engineering” programs to charge the atmosphere, along with our bodies. These programs further block the healing frequencies of the sun required by all life.

S 3157 has bi-partisan support and currently faces little opposition. It could slip through the Senate via unanimous consent, appear in the House briefly and get attached to a spending bill — without any debate or roll-call votes specific to S 3157. This would wipe out nearly all the protective ordinances already passed by forward-looking cities.

On September 26, 2018, the FCC is scheduled to vote through its Wireless Infrastructure Order (dockets 17-79 and 17-84). This order attempts to preempt local control of the public rights-of-way. Wireless companies could then more easily install — in front homes — cell towers that would irradiate those nearby with intense, pulsed, data-modulated, Radio-frequency Electromagnetic Microwave Radiation (RF-EMR) — 24/7.

Some Solutions
  • Voice the power of NO to all new generation wi-fi systems without proven safety.
  • Hardwire all electrical connections or unplug wi-fi before sleeping.
  • Use aluminum screens on windows to block EMF signals.
  • Use RF-shielding paint to block EMF signals.
  • Consume Carbon60, a powerful antioxidant, metal absorber, and carrier of metals out of the body.
  • Unsubscribe to the genetically-modified corporate food system.
  • Eat an organic diet to strengthen and maintain your immune system.
  • Come together in small communities to maintain simple wi-fi for the benefit and balance of the group.
  • Grow your own food. Plant a garden. Grow herbs and fruit trees.
  • Stop using aluminum cookware, antiperspirants, baking powder, vaccines.
  • Remove the outdoor refrigerators from your sightline.

In usual form, attacks to human health and the health of the planet are coming from new technologies that are unproven,  untested, and amoral. Though government attempts to divide humanity, we are all Earthlings united at the level of our cells and our microbes. Do we slow down and preserve our smallest inhabitants? Or do we accept the coming tidal wave? Speed for the sake of speed is the ideology of a cancer cell.

“The Hindus say that without Shakti, the personified feminine life force, Shiva, who encompasses the masculine ability to act, becomes a corpse. She is the life energy that animates the male principle, and the male principle in turn animates action in the world.” ~ Clarissa Pinkola Estes

The personified feminine life force (Shakti) reminds the personified masculine life force (Shiva) that we are a force of interdependent nature first and independent humans second.

What does this mean, exactly? To put it into Darwinian terms, it means that we are, first and foremost, social creatures. We need each other to survive. As such, competition has always been secondary to cooperation; otherwise we wouldn’t have survived as a species.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

If we wish to continue our survival as a species, it is vital that we allow cooperation to be superior to competition. This means cooperation with the environment as well (Shakti as Gaia). Shakti is here to remind Shiva of this fact. To restore the balance. To make sure he isn’t “pretending to be asleep.”

The problem is that many people, intellectuals and nonintellectuals alike, have confused Darwin’s discoveries by focusing primarily on competition, and concepts like “might makes right.” Similar to the way the Nazis hijacked (and falsely portrayed) Nietzsche’s Overman concept, the modern war machine has hijacked (and falsely portrayed) Darwin’s “might makes right” concept.

This has created a dangerously lopsided view of reality: a kind of conquer-control-destroy-repeat mindset that has permeated our culture to such an extent that it has falsely convinced people that war is necessary to keep the peace and that violence is the answer to the problems we face.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Might does not make right. War is not peace (as much as the warmongers and weapons manufacturers want you to believe it). Ignorance is not strength (as much as the uneducated egoists and xenophobic nationalists want you to believe it). Freedom is not slavery (as much as the brainwashed statists and fear-filled status-quo junkies want you to believe it).

Women (and men who are in touch with their anima) have a direct line to the kind of deep wisdom that’s necessary to turn the tide of the overreaching, violent war machine that outflanks us all. What Clarissa Pinkola Estes calls the “Deep Knowing.”

Shakti is Shiva’s wake-up call:

“A nation is not conquered until the hearts of its women are on the ground. Then it’s finished; no matter how brave its warriors or how strong their weapons.” ~Cheyanne proverb

Shakti is here to deflate the weak and obese (yet violent) masculine ego and build a robust and flexible male principle to take its place. But the process is going to hurt like hell. Going from a culturally conditioned male growing up in a profoundly sick society to a fully awake Shiva in touch with his divine masculinity is no walk in the park.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Sometimes reaching true ground means being uprooted. Pain must be brought to the surface in order to be worked through effectively lest it turn into aggression, numbness and dissociation. Uprooting the pain of the past and digging it out of its shadowy repression opens everything up for authentic healing.

As it stands, armored masculinity is a bloody tangle of weaponry and bloated egos glued together by myopic one-upmanship. Our hypermasculine culture is overly aggressive, numb, and dissociated. It’s a shadow culture that feeds off its own repressed pain, violence, anger, guilt and grief. As R.D. Laing said, “We are effectively destroying ourselves by violence masquerading as love.”

Unbalanced and dangerously lopsided with obese masculinity, our culture needs the healing powers of the sacred feminine, as well as the sacred masculine, to balance it out.

Shakti is Shiva’s red flag:

“It is an absurd contradiction to speak of peace, to negotiate peace, and at the same time promote or permit the global arms trade. Is this war or that war really a war to solve problems? Or is it a commercial war for selling weapons in illegal trade and so that the merchants of death can get rich?” ~Pope Francis

Shakti is here to transform weaponry into livingry; to remind everyone that weaponry should always be secondary to livingry. And, even then, only in defense of it.

Shakti’s red flag is a symbol for righteous anger. It’s compassionate anger, seeking justice and a healthier system. It’s vulnerable anger: intimate, authentic, resilient and transformative. It’s moral anger, measuring injustice against the Golden Rule, the Nonaggression Principle and the Universal Laws that dictate healthy survival. It’s mindful anger, honoring the wounds of the past in the alchemical present so that they may become the wisdom of tomorrow.

This type of anger is turned, full-flame, toward violence, rape, misogyny, tyranny and war. Burning them in a courageous nonviolent fire.

Such anger breaks the heart open even as it turns outdated militarism into ash. As it should. Where we tend to go wrong is not allowing our heart to break all the way. As Rumi said, “You have to keep breaking your heart until it opens.”

Instead, we have the tendency to repress the sadness. We swallow the grief. We resist the heartbreak. We smother the pain away without ever really feeling it. So it just lingers in the shadows, but it grows stronger. It festers. It magnifies and manifests into an aggrandized version of itself that we call the Shadow. In this case, it’s a cultural shadow.

But when we let our heart break fully, it opens-up. The Shadow becomes self-actualized. It is finally allowed to be a part of the whole. A glorious sadness gushes out so that self-improved meaning can pour in. It hurts, but it’s a joyful ache. Our sadness finally has a resting place, a sacred space where it can be transformative and healing instead of crippling and violent.

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

Shakti is Shiva’s medicine, and vice versa:

“When the Sacred Masculine is combined with the sacred feminine inside each of us, we create the ‘sacred marriage’ of compassion and passion in ourselves.” ~Matthew Fox

Shakti is here to transform the congealed rage of a profoundly sick society, clinging to safety and security, into the focused insurgence of a healthy society, defending love and freedom.

When our cultural mythology is one of dominance and control (overly masculine), we become violent and hard, and closed off to the underlying essence. We become offensive and overreaching with our power, clinging to security out of fear.

When our cultural mythology is one of passivity and stagnation (overly feminine), we become fragile and fragmented, and unable to contain the underlying essence. We become submissive and weak, clinging to safety out of fear.

But when our cultural mythology is one of equilibrium and balance between these polar energies (the union of Shakti and Shiva), then the underlying essence can be tapped into and the overarching theme becomes robust and flexible and connected to the heart of creation –what Nietzsche referred to as the “Primordial Unity,” which revives and balances both our feminine and masculine energies.

Such a sacred union creates courage in the face of fear. It creates a billion women rising despite the powers that be and despite the violence they’ve been subjugated to in the past. Women who have the courage to rise-up as a force to be reckoned with (a Unified Gaia Principle). Women who say, “Fuck the war machine!” on behalf of men, women and children the world over. Women who no longer take the violence unleashed upon them lying down, but empower each other through education, the #MeToo Movement, Codepink, and the Women’s March on The Pentagon (taking place October 20th-21st, 2018).

It creates self-empowered women with the tender yet spirited wherewithal to empower men, to “animate the male principle so that it can in turn animate healthy action in the world.” To create a New Man, Shiva incarnate, who has the ability to tap into his inner Shakti, thereby awakening the divine energy from its unconscious state into a state of conscious awareness. The kind of man who creates rather than destroys, catalyzes rather than militarizes, heals rather than injures, and empowers rather than oppresses.

But first, there must be upheaval. First, there must be surfaced pain. There must be fierceness. There must be the strength and the courage to call out misogyny and rape, despite a culture numb to both. There must be audaciousness and the courage to speak truth to power, to call out the unnecessary violence of wars waged for profit. Bottom line: the pain caused by the bloated misbalance of hypermasculinity must first be addressed and worked through before the true Shiva can rise.

From the late 1400’s to the early 1600’s, a German banking family influenced world events and quietly ruled over an extremely influential role in history. The Fuggers of Augsburg were among Europe’s leading merchant-bankers as they were called, combining financial services with long distance trade. All kinds of offices and agencies related to money, loans brokered with Tyrolean and Hungarian copper and silver in return for loans provided to the rulers of mining areas, popped up in cities such as Venice, Lisbon, Seville, and Antwerp.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

These institutions built by the Fuggers provided loans to some of the most influential entities in the world at the time.

They provided banking and credit services to the Hapsburg emperors, popes, European princes and nobility, and more. The main man of the dynasty was Jakob Fugger “the Rich.” At the time he was the wealthiest person in the world, according to the account of history we are told.

The Fugger financial institutions established sporadic ties with India and other regions that were less explored, including the “New World” as they called it. They basically went wherever they could and brokered loans to people who they would gain power over, and this laid the foundation for the banking scheme that would eventually rule the world: what we live in today, wage slavery, the grocery store paradigm, whatever you want to call it.

But what does it mean, that these Fugger financial offices established sporadic ties to the “New World?” Well, the “New World” started to be “explored,’ in other words torn to pieces and ruthlessly conquered by the Spanish and other forces, around the same time that the Fuggers began expanding these services.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Spain established close ties to the Fuggers. The money that would enable Spain to conquer the Americas must have included the contributions from Jakob Fugger and his family. This connection seems to be studiously avoided in mainstream accounts of history.

Spanish prisoners and certain people were forced to work in the mercury mines of Almadén, and due to a deal with the Fuggers, the Spanish monarchy reaped financial benefits from forcing prisoners to mine mercury. In exchange for these German bankers providing loans to the Spanish crown, the Fuggers of Augsburg were given the power to administrate the mercury mines.

The intrinsic value of mercury back then was reportedly its use in extracting other metals from gold and silver ore. Mercury was needed to purify gold and silver through amalgamation.

According to a past article:

In 1566, the German bankers (the Fuggers) failed to meet production quotas in the mercury mines. In response, 30 prisoners were sent by the King of Spain to labor away at Almadén. In 1583, this number increased to 40. The prisoners, known as “forzados,” were selected from a group of convicts waiting for transport to the galleys from the jail of Toledo. Although the king insisted living conditions at the mines were fine, between 1566 and 1593, 24% of all convicts died before their release dates.

A slow, excruciatingly painful death that came with an Alzheimer’s-type insanity was handed down to these prisoners, a result of the mercury poisoning. The prisoners experienced severe pains in the body, loss of sanity, trembling limbs, depression, anxiety and worse. Almost all of the men at the even more dangerous furnaces died of the poisoning.

Slaves imported from Northern Africa were also subject to poisoning at the mines, and by 1613, the slaves joined the forzados at a two to one ratio.”

Still, the people in positions of power were well aware that it caused people health problems, and for almost two thousand years now at least, people in power have been trying to poison civilians with mercury.

Even further back, all roads lead to Rome because the Romans made use of their mercury mines, turning them into “penal institutions for criminals, slaves, and other undesirables,” according to an academic page at Dartmouth.edu.

The official narrative is that Roman slaves and “undesirables” (probably included anyone critical of the Roman regime) were forced to work in the mines, because it was very likely they would become poisoned enough to die, and spare the need for an execution.

Today, we’re still being poisoned with mercury. It is in vaccines like the Sanofi flu shot and countless others (it is still there) and the mercury amalgam dental fillings, falsely referred to as “silver” fillings, that an untold number of people had for the past century and a half or so.

The effects of mercury exposure reverberate for decades, passing illness onto the offspring of poisoned people, because it can be passed down through prenatal exposure and it’s extremely, extremely difficult to chelate and remove from the body.

These fillings are usually 50% mercury, and 50% other metals. If your parents had them, you probably suffered from prenatal exposure to mercury and it could be responsible for health problems you don’t even know about.

If you had these fillings, you could have been poisoned if they weren’t taken out properly, and just the saliva in your mouth slowly poisoned you over the course of the time you had them.

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

Henry Schein is the dental corporation that makes most of the world’s mercury amalgam fillings, and their ex-Board of Directors member Margaret Hamburg is a person who clearly represents what is going on in this world.

She was FDA commissioner after being on the board of Henry Schein, refusing to regulate mercury amalgam dental fillings, until she resigned after a racketeering scandal with her husband’s hedge fund and pharma corporation Johnson & Johnson.

Her father and mother were both leaders in the American Eugenics Society, which has since been renamed several times, once the “Society for the Study of Social Biology,” and now “Society for Biodemography and Social Biology.”

From Jakob Fugger the Rich lending money to the Spanish crown so they can brutally conquer the native people of the Americas, while his family facilitates the poisoning of slaves and prisoners with mercury, to the modern day wealthy power players who make millions from people being poisoned with mercury, people are going to have to read between the lines here.

Mercury is one of the most toxic substances on Earth, to the point where it can be weaponized. It is known to cause depression, anxiety, neurological disorders, thoughts of suicide, chronic illness, fatigue and a litany of other health problems. It takes a person “down a notch,” mentally due to endocrine and hormone disruption and physically.

The conclusions drawn here are not exaggerated or blown out of proportion.

If people want to be strong, they must consider it important to focus on the people who poison us with mercury today, and a lot of things similar to this scenario.

What common interest do characters like this throughout history have? Why does everything around us happen to be toxic? We’re all on the feeding trough susceptible to whatever they give us in this grocery store paradigm, forged in a vision centuries ago by bankers.

Humans are good at reacting to crises that they can see right before their eyes, but if something isn’t recognizing as an immediate threat, we’re very good at ignoring it. For the last 8 years we have been receiving warnings about the loss of honey bees and other pollinator insects, but yet so far have been wholly unable to comprehend what this means to our future, and therefore have been unable and unwilling to react with any seriousness.

In recent years we’ve reported on this unfolding catastrophe, pointing out the bees in Europe and North America are seeing major declines along with many other critical insects. In 2013, Florida declared two butterfly species had gone extinct. German researchers in 2017 reported on a 75% reduction in the total biomass of flying insects.  Massive die-offs of bees is common these days, and many point to the widespread use of insecticides and other agrichemicals as the major cause.

Insects in general are in a massive die-off today, and the results could be catastrophic for the planet. A new report published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences brings attention to the spread of this calamity to the Americas, noting some 60-fold losses in arthropods and other insects in the rainforests of central america.

The loss is deeply extending into populations of frogs, birds, and many other ecologically important creatures, and the team of researchers compared insect populations in Puerto Rico today with those 40 years ago.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

“We went down in ’76, ’77 expressly to measure the resources: the insects and the insectivores in the rain forest, the birds, the frogs, the lizards,” Lister said.

He came back nearly 40 years later, with his colleague Andrés García, an ecologist at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. What the scientists did not see on their return troubled them. “Boy, it was immediately obvious when we went into that forest,” Lister said. Fewer birds flitted overhead. The butterflies, once abundant, had all but vanished.

García and Lister once again measured the forest’s insects and other invertebrates, a group called arthropods that includes spiders and centipedes. The researchers trapped arthropods on the ground in plates covered in a sticky glue, and raised several more plates about three feet into the canopy. The researchers also swept nets over the brush hundreds of times, collecting the critters that crawled through the vegetation.

Each technique revealed the biomass (the dry weight of all the captured invertebrates) had significantly decreased from 1976 to the present day. The sweep sample biomass decreased to a fourth or an eighth of what it had been. Between January 1977 and January 2013, the catch rate in the sticky ground traps fell 60-fold.

“Everything is dropping,” Lister said. The most common invertebrates in the rain forest – the moths, the butterflies, the grasshoppers, the spiders and others – are all far less abundant.

“Holy crap,” Wagner said of the 60-fold loss.” [Source]

In order to adequately address this serious crisis, we would need to address some of the major, systemic problems in our world today, such as pollution, modern chemical-based agriculture, and a changing climate. It remains to be seen whether or not we people are capable of actually taking on a problem of this magnitude.

“If anything, I think their results and caveats are understated. The gravity of their findings and ramifications for other animals, especially vertebrates, is hyperalarming.” ~David Wagner, an expert in invertebrate conservation at the University of Connecticut

As my readers know, I’ve reported on a number of scandals concerning the toxicity of medical drugs and vaccines, including shocking death numbers in the US.

These scandals are leaks from inside the National Security State.

If you visit Wikileaks, Cryptome, Public Intelligence, and other similar sites, how many purely medical documents do you find posted?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

How many damaging leaks exposing the crimes of the medical cartel do you find?

Very, very few.

Where are the medical insiders who are liberating and passing along incriminating documentary evidence?

Some of the best exposers of political, intelligence-agency, and military crimes are way behind the curve, when it comes to medical matters. They’re living in a fantasy. They see nothing in the medical arena.

The medical sphere, for various reasons, is far better protected than any other segment of society.

For the hundredth time, let me cite Dr. Barbara Starfield’s stunning review, “Is US health really the best in the world?” published on July 26, 2000, in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

Starfield, at the time, was working as a highly respected public health expert, at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.

She concluded that the US medical system kills 225,000 Americans a year. That would add up to 2.25 million deaths per decade.

Laid directly at the door of the American medical complex.

Aside from the genocidal death toll, Starfield’s findings also reveal massive fraud in all medical journals that routinely publish the glowing results of clinical trials of drugs.

How could such trials open the door to the marketing of drugs that kill, according to Starfield, 106,000 Americans every year, unless deep, continuing, and abetted research fraud were the order of the day?

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

Indeed, Dr. Marcia Angell, the editor of New England Journal of Medicine for 20 years, wrote the following:

“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.” (NY Review of Books, January 15, 2009)

Finally, here’s a document (as a slide presentation) in plain sight, on the FDA’s own site: “FDA Why Learn About Adverse Drug Effects?”. You’ll see the FDA admits there are 100,000 deaths per year resulting from these “drug effects.”

The FDA, of course, is the single government agency responsible for certifying drugs as safe and effective, before their public release is permitted. Yet the FDA takes absolutely no responsibility for the deaths.

Can you imagine the feeding frenzy, if, say, some leaker in the Pentagon passed along a political/military document to Wikileaks that showed the Dept. of Defense was poisoning to death, like clockwork, a hundred thousand of its own soldiers every year—and was readily admitting it?

Let’s stop this insane nonsense of separating one whole set of government crimes from another, simply because the propagandized priests in the white coats are above reproach.

We’re not living in 1950 anymore, and this isn’t Kansas.

Again, the mad scientist division of the Pentagon, DARPA, is doing something that causes people anxiety. In 2016, a program called “Insect Allies” was launched by the US Department of Defense. It involves the investment of $45 million over the course of four years into creating viruses, that infect crops, supposedly to help prevent the failure of crops driven by climate change and pathogens.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

The main focus of the program appears to be delivering a genetically engineered virus into a plant, that could improve crop growth by altering which genes the plants choose to express.

Let’s just take a step back and think about that: the US military wants to genetically engineer viruses to infect our crops with, so we can eat virus infected, altered crops.

Now, scientists are vocally expressing their concerns about the program’s potential to end up being an offensive biological weapon against the food supplies of other countries.

On Thursday, the editorial was published in Science Magazine, in which scientists from the University of Freiburg in Germany and the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary biology, was well as France’s Université de Montpellier, asked the Pentagon to provide more transparency and opportunities for public discussion in regard to the project and what could result from it.

“Easy simplifications could be used to generate a new class of biological weapons,” a press release says“weapons that would be extremely transmissible to susceptible crop species due to insect dispersion as the means of delivery.”

According to VICE“In an email to Motherboard, a DARPA spokesperson rebutted the thesis of the Science Magazine piece and denied any intent to deploy technology developed through Insect Allies in an offensive setting.”

“We created Insect Allies specifically to develop technology that can deliver positive, protective traits to plants to help them survive unanticipated and/or fast-moving agricultural threats,” the DARPA spokesperson wrote“We see it as a critical addition to the national security toolkit, part of a layered strategy to preserve the security of the food supply.”

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

DARPA makes a lot of daring attempts to develop technology, but this one is clearly more important to the military hierarchy, as the Insect Allies Program is actually a collaboration between DARPA, the EPA, the US Army, and other government agencies.

The end goal for them is to be completed with whatever they are doing by “mid-2021,” as reported by a DARPA slide presentation. The presentation claims the goal of Insect Allies is to “stably transform multiple mature crop plants in a complex, multi-species plant and insect community with enhanced trait(s) of agricultural interest,” by that mid-2021 deadline.

Continuing from VICE:

“Per the DARPA slide presentation, climate change is a major threat to US agriculture because it exacerbates extreme heat, flooding, and the formation of more powerful storms. The document also points to biological hazards—such as foreign fungi, viruses, bacteria, and insects—being introduced to US agriculture via global commerce. Volcanic and tectonic activity, like earthquakes, also threaten the US food supply, the presentation stated.”

They provide us with a threat, and then they do whatever they want. The malicious possibilities here are endless, and climate change seems to allow governments to pursue a whole lot of things they never would have been able to justify without it.

The risks are admitted to be serious. There’s the possibility that bugs won’t release the viruses to the plants as they intend. They admit that once the insects are released, they won’t necessarily perform the right actions, according to what they want to happen. Several expensive microscopic genetic tools are said to be at use here.

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

DARPA outlined in public documents that the first phase of Insect Allies was scheduled to finish near the end of 2018.

In late 2018, the first phase of this program may be complete: which is the “accomplishment” of successfully delivering a genetically modified virus to an insect.

From late this year to early 2020, the next phase of this project is scheduled to involved genetically changing and modifying the viruses they deliver to insects, adjusting the insects and plants as well to make sure the gene delivery is “specialized to thrive in a monoculture.” In other words, specialized to thrive in an environment where it’s nothing but one type of plant.

Continuing from Motherboard“In an email to Motherboard, a DARPA spokesperson said that four research teams have received allotments of the $45 million funding from the agency as a part of Insect Allies, and that all teams have now entered phase two. The teams include researchers from Penn State University, the University of Texas, and Ohio State University.”

It isn’t difficult to tell what opinion this article represents. Do we need this, or want to trust people with placing genetically modified viruses in the crops that become our grocery store produce?

The past of our ancestors lives on through us: Groundbreaking research illustrates how parental experience is not only epigenetically imprinted onto offspring, but onto an unprecedented number of future generations. Rather than occurring over the elongated time scale of millions of years, genetic change can transpire in real biological time through nanoparticles known as exosomes.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Until recently, it was believed that our genes dictate our destiny. That we are slated for the diseases that will ultimately beset us based upon the pre-wired indecipherable code written in stone in our genetic material. The burgeoning field of epigenetics, however, is overturning these tenets, and ushering in a school of thought where nurture, not nature, is seen to be the predominant influence when it comes to genetic expression and our freedom from or affliction by chronic disease.

Epigenetics: The Demise of Biological Determinism

Epigenetics, or the study of the physiological mechanisms that silence or activate genes, encompasses processes which alter gene function without changing the sequence of nucleotide base pairs in our DNA. Translated literally to mean “in addition to changes in genetic sequence,” epigenetics includes processes such as methylation, acetylation, phosphorylation, sumolyation, and ubiquitylation which can be transmitted to daughter cells upon cell division (1). Methylation, for example, is the attachment of simple methyl group tags to DNA molecules, which can repress transcription of a gene when it occurs in the region of a gene promoter. This simple methyl group, or a carbon bound to three hydrogen molecules, effectively turns the gene off.

Post-translational modifications of histone proteins is another epigenetic process. Histones help to package and condense the DNA double helix into the cell nucleus in a complex called chromatin, which can be modified by enzymes, acetyl groups, and forms of RNA called small interfering RNAs and microRNAs (1). These chemical modifications of chromatin influence its three-dimensional structure, which in turn governs its accessibility for DNA transcription and dictates whether genes are expressed or not.

We inherit one allele, or variant, of each gene from our mother and the other from our father. If the result of epigenetic processes is imprinting, a phenomenon where one of the two alleles of a gene pair is turned off, this can generate a deleterious health outcome if the expressed allele is defective or increases our susceptibility to infections or toxicants (1). Studies link cancers of nearly all types, neurobehavioral and cognitive dysfunction, respiratory illnessesautoimmune disorders, reproductive anomalies, and cardiovascular disease to epigenetic mechanisms (1). For example, the cardiac antiarrhythmic drug procainamide and the antihypertensive agent hydralazine can cause lupus in some people by causing aberrant patterns of DNA methylation and disrupting signaling pathways (1).

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Genes Load the Gun, Environment Pulls the Trigger

Pharmaceuticals, however, are not the only agents that can induce epigenetic disturbances. Whether you were born via vaginal birth or Cesarean section, breastfed or bottle-fed, raised with a pet in the house, or infected with certain childhood illnesses all influence your epigenetic expression. Whether you are sedentary, pray, smoke, mediate, do yoga, have an extensive network of social support or are alienated from your community—all of your lifestyle choices play into your risk for disease operating through mechanisms of epigenetics.

In fact, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) states that genetics account for only 10% of disease, with the remaining 90% owing to environmental variables (2). An article published in the Public Library of Science One (PLoS One) entitled “Genetic factors are not the major causes of chronic diseases” echoes these claims, citing that chronic disease is only 16.4% genetic, and 84.6% environmental (3). These concepts make sense in light of research on the exposome, the cumulative measure of all the environmental insults an individual incurs during their life course that determines susceptibility to disease (4)

In delineating the totality of exposures to which an individual is subjected over their lifetime, the exposome can be subdivided into three overlapping and intertwined domains. One segment of the exposome called the internal environment is comprised of processes innate to the body which impinge on the cellular milieu. This encompasses hormones and other cellular messengers, oxidative stress, inflammation, lipid peroxidation, bodily morphology, the gut microbiotaaging and biochemical stress (5).

Another portion of the exposome, the specific external environment, consists of exposures including pathogens, radiation, chemical contaminants and pollutants, and medical interventions, as well as dietary, lifestyle, and occupational elements (5). At an even broader sociocultural and ecological level is the segment of the exposome called the general external environment, which may circumscribe factors such as psychological stress, socioeconomic status, geopolitical variables, educational attainment, urban or rural residence, and climate (5).

Transgenerational Inheritance of Epigenetic Change: Endocrine Disruptors Trigger Infertility in Future Generations

Scientists formerly speculated that epigenetic changes disappear with each new generation during gametogenesis, the formation of sperm and ovum, and after fertilization. However, this theory was first challenged by research published in the journal Science which demonstrated that transient exposure of pregnant rats to the insecticide methoxychlor, an estrogenic compound, or the fungicide vinclozolin, an antiandrogenic compound, resulted in increased incidence of male infertility and decreased sperm production and viability in 90% of the males of four subsequent generations that were tracked (1).

Most notably, these reproductive effects were associated with derangements in DNA methylation patterns in the germ line, suggesting that epigenetic changes are passed on to future generations. The authors concluded, “The ability of an environmental factor (for example, endocrine disruptor) to reprogram the germ line and to promote a transgenerational disease state has significant implications for evolutionary biology and disease etiology” (6, p. 1466). This may suggest that the endocrine-disrupting, fragrance-laden personal care products and commercial cleaning supplies to which we are all exposed may trigger fertility problems in multiple future generations.

Transgenerational Inheritance of Traumatic Episodes: Parental Experience Shapes Traits of Offspring

In addition, traumatic experiences may be transmitted to future generations via epigenetics as a way to inform progeny about salient information needed for their survival (7). In one study, researchers wafted the cherry-like chemical acetophenone into the chambers of mice while administering electric shocks, conditioning the mice to fear the scent (7). This reaction was passed onto two successive generations, which shuddered significantly more in the presence of acetophenone despite never having encountered it compared to descendants of mice that had not received this conditioning (7).

The study suggests that certain characteristics of the parental sensory environment experienced before conception can remodel the sensory nervous system and neuroanatomy in subsequently conceived generations (7). Alterations in brain structures that process olfactory stimuli were observed, as well as enhanced representation of the receptor that perceives the odor compared to control mice and their progeny (7). These changes were conveyed by epigenetic mechanisms, as illustrated by evidence that the acetophenone-sensing genes in fearful mice were hypomethylated, which may have enhanced expression of odorant-receptor genes during development leading to acetophenone sensitivity (7).

The Human Experience of Famine and Tragedy Spans Generations

The mouse study, which illustrates how germ cells (egg and sperm) exhibit dynamic plasticity and adaptability in response to environmental signals, is mirrored by human studies. For instance, exposures to certain stressors such as starvation during the gestational period are associated with poor health outcomes for offspring. Women who undergo famine before conception of her offspring have been demonstrated to give birth to children with lower self-reported mental health and quality of life, for example (8).

Studies similarly highlight that, “Maternal famine exposure around the time of conception has been related to prevalence of major affective disorders, antisocial personality disorders, schizophrenia, decreased intracranial volume, and congenital abnormalities of the central nervous system” (8). Gestational exposure to the Dutch Famine of the mid-twentieth century is also associated with lower perceived health (9), as well as enhanced incidence of cardiovascular disease, hypertension, and obesity in offspring (8). Maternal undernourishment during pregnancy leads to neonatal adiposity, which is a predictor of future obesity (10), in the grandchildren (11).

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

The impact of epigenetics is also exemplified by research on the intergenerational effects of trauma, which illuminates that descendants of people who survived the Holocaust exhibit abnormal stress hormone profiles, and low cortisol production in particular (12). Because of their impaired cortisol response and altered stress reactivity, children of Holocaust survivors are often at enhanced risk for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression (13).

Intrauterine exposure to maternal stress in the form of intimate partner violence during pregnancy can also lead to changes in the methylation status of the glucocorticoid receptor (GR) of their adolescent offspring (14). These studies suggest that an individual’s experience of trauma can predispose their descendants to mental illness, behavioral problems, and psychological abnormalities due to “transgenerational epigenetic programming of genes operating in the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis,” a complex set of interactions among endocrine glands which determine stress response and resilience (14).

Body Cells Pass Genetic Information Directly Into Sperm Cells

Not only that, but studies are illuminating that genetic information can be transferred through the germ line cells of a species in real time. These paradigm-shifting findings overturn conventional logic which postulates that genetic change occurs over the protracted time scale of hundreds of thousands or even millions of years. In a relatively recent study, exosomes were found to be the medium through which information was transferred from somatic cells to gametes.

This experiment entailed xenotransplantation, a process where living cells from one species are grafted into a recipient of another species. Specifically, human melanomatumor cells genetically engineered to express genes for a fluorescent tracer enzyme called EGFP-encoding plasmid were transplanted into mice. The experimenters found that information-containing molecules containing the EGFP tracer were released into the animals’ blood (15). Exosomes, or “specialized membranous nano-sized vesicles derived from endocytic compartments that are released by many cell types” were found among the EGFP trackable molecules (16, p. 447).

Exosomes, which are synthesized by all plant and animal cells, contain distinct protein repertoires and are created when inward budding occurs from the membrane of multivesicular bodies (MVBs), a type of organelle that serves as a membrane-bound sorting compartment within eukaryotic cells (16). Exosomes contain microRNA (miRNA) and small RNA, types of non-coding RNA involved in regulating gene expression (16). In this study, exosomes delivered RNAs to mature sperm cells (spermatozoa) and remained stored there (15).

The researchers highlight that this kind of RNA can behave as a “transgenerational determinant of inheritable epigenetic variations and that spermatozoal RNA can carry and deliver information that cause phenotypic variations in the progeny” (15). In other words, the RNA carried to sperm cells by exosomes can preside over gene expression in a way that changes the observable traits and disease risk of the offspring as well as its morphology, development, and physiology.

This study was the first to elucidate RNA-mediated transfer of information from somatic to germ cells, which fundamentally overturns what is known as the Weisman barrier, a principle which states that the movement of hereditary information from genes to body cells is unidirectional, and that the information transmitted by egg and sperm to future generations remains independent of somatic cells and parental experience (15).

Further, this may bear implications for cancer risk, as exosomes contain vast amounts of genetic information which can be source of lateral gene transfer (17) and are abundantly liberated from tumor cells (18). This can be reconciled with the fact that exosome-resembling vesicles have been observed in various mammals (15), including humans, in close proximity to sperm in anatomical structures such as the epididymis as well as in seminal fluid (19). These exosomes may thereafter be propagated to future generations with fertilization and augment cancer risk in the offspring (20).

The researchers concluded that sperm cells can act as the final repositories of somatic cell-derived information, which suggests that epigenetic insults to our body cells can be relayed to future generations. This notion is confirmatory of the evolutionary theory of “soft inheritance” proposed by French naturalist Jean-Baptiste Lamarck, whereby characteristics acquired over the life of an organism are transmitted to offspring, a concept which modern genetics previously rejected before the epigenetics arrived on the scene. In this way, the sperm are able to spontaneously assimilate exogenous DNA and RNA molecules, behaving both as vector of their native genome and of extrachromosomal foreign genetic material which is “then delivered to oocytes at fertilization with the ensuing generation of phenotypically modified animals” (15).

Epigenetic Changes Endure Longer Than Ever Predicted

In a recent study, nematode worms were manipulated to harbor a transgene for a fluorescent protein, which made the worms glow under ultraviolet light when the gene was activated (21). When the worms were incubated under the ambient temperature of 20° Celsius (68° Fahrenheit), negligible glowing was observed, indicating low activity of the transgene (21). However, transferring the worms to a warmer climate of 25°C (77° F) stimulated expression of the gene, as the worms glowed brightly (21).

In addition, this temperature-induced alteration in gene expression was found to persist for at least 14 generations, representing the preservation of epigenetic memories of environmental change across an unprecedented number of generations (21). In other words, the worms transmitted memories of past environmental conditions to their descendants, through the vehicle of epigenetic change, as a way to prepare their offspring for prevailing environmental conditions and ensure their survivability.

Future Directions: Where Do We Go From Here?

Taken cumulatively, the aforementioned research challenges traditional Mendelian laws of genetics, which postulate that genetic inheritance occurs exclusively through sexual reproduction and that traits are passed to offspring through the chromosomes contained in germ line cells, and never through somatic (bodily) cells. Effectively, this proves the existence of non-Mendelian transgenerational inheritance, where traits separate from chromosomal genes are transmitted to progeny, resulting in persistent phenotypes that endure across generations (22).

This research imparts new meaning to the principle of seven generation stewardship taught by Native Americans, which mandates that we consider the welfare of seven generations to come in each of our decisions. Not only should we embody this approach in practices of environmental sustainability, but we would be wise to consider how the conditions to which we subject our bodies—the pollution and toxicants which permeate the landscape and pervade our bodies, the nutrient-devoid soil that engenders micronutrient-poor food, the disruptions to our circadian rhythm due to the ubiquity of electronic devices, our divorce from nature and the demise of our tribal affiliations—may translate into ill health effects and diminished quality of life for a previously unfathomed number of subsequent generations.

Hazards of modern agriculture, the industrial revolution, and contemporary living are the “known or suspected drivers behind epigenetic processes…including heavy metals, pesticides, diesel exhaust, tobacco smoke, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, hormones, radioactivity, viruses, bacteria, and basic nutrients” (1, p. A160). Serendipitously, however, many inputs such as exercise, mindfulness, and bioactive components in fruits and vegetables such as sulforaphane in cruciferous vegetables, resveratrol from red grapes, genistein from soy, diallyl sulphide from garlic, curcumin from turmeric, betaine from beets, and green tea catechin can favorably modify epigenetic phenomena “either by directly inhibiting enzymes that catalyze DNA methylation or histone modifications, or by altering the availability of substrates necessary for those enzymatic reactions” (23, p. 8).

This quintessentially underscores that the air we breathe, the food we eat, the thoughts we allow, the toxins to which we are exposed, and the experiences we undergo may persevere in our descendants and remain in our progeny long after we are gone. We must be cognizant of the effects of our actions, as they elicit a ripple effect through the proverbial sands of time.

“If the freedom of speech be taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”—George Washington

Living in a representative republic means that each person has the right to take a stand for what they think is right, whether that means marching outside the halls of government, wearing clothing with provocative statements, or simply holding up a sign.

That’s what the First Amendment is supposed to be about.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Yet through a series of carefully crafted legislative steps and politically expedient court rulings, government officials have managed to disembowel this fundamental freedom, rendering it with little more meaning than the right to file a lawsuit against government officials.

In the process, government officials have succeeded in insulating themselves from their constituents, making it increasingly difficult for average Americans to make themselves seen or heard by those who most need to hear what “we the people” have to say.

Indeed, President Trump—always keen to exercise his free speech rights to sound off freely on any topic that strikes his fancy—has not been as eager to protect the First Amendment rights of his fellow citizens to speak freely, assemble, protest and petition one’s government officials for a redress of grievances.

Not that long ago, in fact, Trump suggested that the act of protesting should be illegal.

The president has also suggested demonstrators should lose their jobs or be met with violence for speaking out.

Mind you, this is the man who took an oath of office to uphold and defend the Constitution.

Perhaps someone should have made sure Trump had actually read the Constitution first.

Most recently, the Trump Administration proposed rules that would crack down on protests in front of the White House and on the National Mall.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, “The rules would restrict gatherings that now take place on a 25-foot-wide sidewalk in front of the White House to just a 5-foot sliver, severely limiting crowds. The NPS [National Park Service] also threatens to hit political protesters on the National Mall with large security and cleanup fees that historically have been waived for such gatherings, and it wants to make it easier to reject a spontaneous protest of the type that might occur, say, if Trump fires special counsel Robert Mueller.”

Imagine if the hundreds of thousands of participants in the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, which culminated with Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech at the Lincoln Memorial, had been forced into free speech zones or required to pay for the “privilege” of protest.

There likely would not have been a 1964 Civil Rights Act.

What is going on here?

Clearly, the government has no interest in hearing what “we the people” have to say.

It’s the message that is feared, especially if that message challenges the status quo.

That’s why so many hurdles are being placed in the path of those attempting to voice sentiments that may be construed as unpopular, offensive, conspiratorial, violent, threatening or anti-government.

Yet the right of political free speech is the basis of all liberty.

It’s the citizen’s right to confront the government and demand that it alter its policies. But first, citizens have to be seen and heard, and only under extraordinary circumstances should free speech ever be restricted.

No government that claims to value freedom would adopt such draconian measures to clamp down on lawful First Amendment activities. These tactics of censorship, suppression and oppression go hand-in-hand with fascism.

Efforts to confine and control dissenters are really efforts to confine and control the effect of their messages, whatever those might be.

That’s the point, isn’t it?

The powers-that-be don’t want us to be seen and heard.

Haven’t you noticed that interactions with elected representatives have become increasingly manufactured and distant over the past 50 years? Press conferences, ticketed luncheons, televised speeches and one-sided town hall meetings held over the phone now largely take the place of face-to-face interaction with constituents.

Additionally, there has been an increased use of so-called “free speech zones,” designated areas for expressive activity used to corral and block protestors at political events from interacting with public officials. Both the Democratic and Republican parties have used these “free speech zones,” some located within chain-link cages, at various conventions to mute any and all criticism of their policies.

This push to insulate government officials from those exercising their First Amendment rights stems from an elitist mindset which views them as different, set apart somehow, from the people they have been appointed to serve and represent.

We have litigated and legislated our way into a new governmental framework where the dictates of petty bureaucrats carry greater weight than the inalienable rights of the citizenry.

With every passing day, we’re being moved further down the road towards a totalitarian society characterized by government censorship, violence, corruption, hypocrisy and intolerance, all packaged for our supposed benefit in the Orwellian doublespeak of national security, tolerance and so-called “government speech.”

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Indeed, while lobbyists mill in and out of the homes and offices of Congressmen, the American people are kept at a distance through free speech zones, electronic town hall meetings, and security barriers. And those who dare to breach the gap—even through silent forms of protest—are arrested for making their voices heard.

On paper, we are free to speak.

In reality, however, we are only as free to speak as a government official may allow.

Free speech zones, bubble zones, trespass zones, anti-bullying legislation, zero tolerance policies, hate crime laws and a host of other legalistic maladies dreamed up by politicians and prosecutors have conspired to corrode our core freedoms.

Indeed, the Supreme Court has had the effrontery to suggest that the government can discriminate freely against First Amendment activity that takes place within a government forum, justifying such discrimination as “government speech.”

If it were just the courts suppressing free speech, that would be one thing to worry about, but First Amendment activities are being pummeled, punched, kicked, choked, chained and generally gagged all across the country.

Protest laws are not about protecting the economy or private property or public sidewalks. Rather, they are intended to keep us corralled, muzzle discontent and discourage anyone from challenging government authority.

The reasons for such censorship vary widely, but the end result remains the same: the complete eradication of what Benjamin Franklin referred to as the “principal pillar of a free government.”

If Americans are not able to peacefully assemble for expressive activity outside of the halls of government or on public roads on which government officials must pass, the First Amendment has lost all meaning.

If we cannot stand silently outside of the Supreme Court or the Capitol or the White House, our ability to hold the government accountable for its actions is threatened, and so are the rights and liberties which we cherish as Americans.

Free speech can certainly not be considered “free” when expressive activities across the nation are being increasingly limited, restricted to so-called free speech zones, or altogether blocked.

If citizens cannot stand out in the open on a public sidewalk and voice their disapproval of their government, its representatives and its policies, without fearing prosecution, then the First Amendment with all its robust protections for free speech, assembly and the right to petition one’s government for a redress of grievances is little more than window-dressing on a store window: pretty to look at but serving little real purpose.

What most people fail to understand is that the First Amendment is not only about the citizenry’s right to freely express themselves. Rather, the First Amendment speaks to the citizenry’s right to express their concerns about their government to their government, in a time, place and manner best suited to ensuring that those concerns are heard.

The First Amendment gives every American the right to “petition his government for a redress of grievances.”

This amounts to so much more than filing a lawsuit against the government. It works hand in hand with free speech to ensure, as Adam Newton and Ronald K.L. Collins report for the Five Freedoms Project, “that our leaders hear, even if they don’t listen to, the electorate. Though public officials may be indifferent, contrary, or silent participants in democratic discourse, at least the First Amendment commands their audience.”

As Newton and Collins elaborate:

“Petitioning” has come to signify any nonviolent, legal means of encouraging or disapproving government action, whether directed to the judicial, executive or legislative branch. Lobbying, letter-writing, e-mail campaigns, testifying before tribunals, filing lawsuits, supporting referenda, collecting signatures for ballot initiatives, peaceful protests and picketing: all public articulation of issues, complaints and interests designed to spur government action qualifies under the petition clause, even if the activities partake of other First Amendment freedoms.

There’s more.

Even more critical than the right to speak freely, or pray freely, or assemble freely, or petition the government for a redress of grievances, or have a free press is the unspoken freedom enshrined in the First Amendment that assures us of the right to think freely and openly debate issues without being muzzled or treated like a criminal.

Just as surveillance has been shown to “stifle and smother dissent, keeping a populace cowed by fear,” government censorship gives rise to self-censorship, breeds compliance and makes independent thought all but impossible.

In the end, censorship and political correctness not only produce people that cannot speak for themselves but also people who cannot think for themselves. And a citizenry that can’t think for itself is a citizenry that will neither rebel against the government’s dictates nor revolt against the government’s tyranny.

The end result: a nation of sheep who willingly line up for the slaughterhouse.

Still, as Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas advised in his dissent in Colten v. Kentucky, “we need not stay docile and quiet” in the face of authority.

The Constitution does not require Americans to be servile or even civil to government officials.

Neither does the Constitution require obedience (although it does insist on nonviolence).

If we just cower before government agents and meekly obey, we may find ourselves following in the footsteps of those nations that eventually fell to tyranny.

The alternative involves standing up and speaking truth to power.

Jesus Christ walked that road.

So did Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., and countless other freedom fighters whose actions changed the course of history.

Indeed, had Christ merely complied with the Roman police state, there would have been no crucifixion and no Christian religion.

Had Gandhi meekly fallen in line with the British Empire’s dictates, the Indian people would never have won their independence.

Had Martin Luther King Jr. obeyed the laws of his day, there would have been no civil rights movement.

And if the founding fathers had marched in lockstep with royal decrees, there would have been no American Revolution.

In other words, if freedom means anything, it means that those exercising their right to protest are showing the greatest respect for the principles on which this nation was founded: the right to free speech and the right to dissent.

Clearly, the First Amendment to the Constitution assures Americans of the right to speak freely, assemble freely and protest (petition the government for a redress of grievances).

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

Whether those First Amendment activities take place in a courtroom or a classroom, on a football field or in front of the White House is not the issue. What matters is that Americans have a right—according to the spirit, if not always the letter, of the law—to voice their concerns without being penalized for it.

Frankly, the First Amendment does more than give us a right to criticize our country: it makes it a civic duty.

Let’s not confuse patriotism (love for or devotion to one’s country) with blind obedience to the government’s dictates. That is the first step towards creating an authoritarian regime.

One can be patriotic and love one’s country while at the same time disagreeing with the government or protesting government misconduct. As journalist Barbara Ehrenreich recognizes, “Dissent, rebellion, and all-around hell-raising remain the true duty of patriots.”

Indeed, I would venture to say that if you’re not speaking out or taking a stand against government wrongdoing—if you’re marching in lockstep with everything the government and its agents dole out—and if you’re prioritizing partisan politics over the principles enshrined in the Constitution, then you’re not a true patriot.

Real patriots care enough to take a stand, speak out, protest and challenge the government whenever it steps out of line. There is nothing patriotic about the lengths to which Americans have allowed the government to go in its efforts to dismantle our constitutional republic and shift the country into a police state.

It’s not anti-American to be anti-war or anti-police misconduct or anti-racial discrimination, but it is anti-American to be anti-freedom.

Listen: I served in the Army.

I lived through the Civil Rights era.

I came of age during the Sixties, when activists took to the streets to protest war and economic and racial injustice.

As a constitutional lawyer, I defend people daily whose civil liberties are being violated, including high school students prohibited from wearing American flag t-shirts to school, allegedly out of a fear that it might be disruptive.

I understand the price that must be paid for freedom.

Responsible citizenship means being outraged at the loss of others’ freedoms, even when our own are not directly threatened.

The Framers of the Constitution knew very well that whenever and wherever democratic governments had failed, it was because the people had abdicated their responsibility as guardians of freedom. They also knew that whenever in history the people denied this responsibility, an authoritarian regime arose which eventually denied the people the right to govern themselves.

Citizens must be willing to stand and fight to protect their freedoms. And if need be, it will entail publicly criticizing the government.

This is true patriotism in action.

Never in American history has there been a more pressing need to maintain the barriers in the Constitution erected by our Founders to check governmental power and abuse.

Not only do we no longer have dominion over our bodies, our families, our property and our lives, but the government continues to chip away at what few rights we still have to speak freely and think for ourselves.

If the government can control speech, it can control thought and, in turn, it can control the minds of the citizenry.

My friends, let us not be played for fools.

The government’s ongoing attempts to suppress lawful protest activities are intended to send a strong message that in the American police state, you’re either a patriot who marches in lockstep with the government’s dictates or you’re a pariah, a suspect, a criminal, a troublemaker, a terrorist, a radical, a revolutionary.

Yet by muzzling the citizenry, by removing the constitutional steam valves that allow people to speak their minds, air their grievances and contribute to a larger dialogue that hopefully results in a more just world, the government is deliberately stirring the pot, creating a climate in which violence becomes inevitable.

When there is no steam valve—when there is no one to hear what the people have to say, because government representatives have removed themselves so far from their constituents—then frustration builds, anger grows and people become more volatile and desperate to force a conversation.

Then again, perhaps that was the government’s plan all along.

As John F. Kennedy warned in March 1962, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”

The government is making violent revolution inevitable.

How do you lock down a nation?

You sow discontent and fear among the populace.

You teach them to be non-thinkers who passively accept whatever is told them, whether it’s delivered by way of the corporate media or a government handler.

You brainwash them into believing that everything the government does is for their good and anyone who opposes the government is an enemy.

You acclimate them to a state of martial law, carried out by soldiers disguised as police officers but bearing the weapons of war.

You polarize them so that they can never unite and stand united against the government.

You create a climate in which silence is golden and those who speak up are shouted down.

You spread propaganda and lies.

You package the police state in the rhetoric of politicians.

And then, when and if the people finally wake up to the fact that the government is not and has never been their friend, when it’s too late for peaceful protests and violence is all that remains to them as a recourse against tyranny, you use all of the tools you’ve been so carefully amassing—the militarized police, the criminal databases and surveillance and identification systems and private prisons and protest laws—and you shut them down for good.

Divide and conquer.

It’s one of the oldest military strategies in the books, and it’s proven to be the police state’s most effective weapon for maintaining the status quo.

How do you conquer a nation?

Distract the populace with screen devices, with sports, entertainment spectacles, political circuses and materialism.

Keep them focused on their differences—economic, religious, environmental, political, racial—so they can never agree on anything.

And then, when they’re so divided that they are incapable of joining forces against a common threat, start picking them off one by one.

As I make clear in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, what we’re witnessing is just the latest incarnation of the government’s battle plan for stamping out any sparks of resistance and keeping the populace under control: censorship, surveillance, battlefield tactics, military weaponry, and a complete suspension of the Constitution.

“Truth is treason in an empire of lies.” ~George Orwell

An empire of lies requires popular devotion to its founding illusions, lest it will collapse under the weight of its own hubris. It is therefore quite necessary to for those in power to control information and public access to ideas and narratives that run counter to their interests. This is a fact of life in a statist world, but now, in the age of the internet and social media, we are quickly learning just how far corporations will go to support this corrupt dynamic.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Amendment 1 – Freedom of Religion, Speech, and the Press

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

United States Bill of Rights

The social media giants along with big tech no longer have any qualms about deleting popular channels and personalities for their platforms, and the illusion of free speech is coming unhinged as we speak.

Just last week, Facebook (FB) announced the deletion of hundreds of pages it said were guilty of spamming and of profiting from web-traffic sent to ‘ad farms’ from coordinated FB strategies. Well-respected and reputable independent media organizations were banned along with many obviously spammy pages and politically inconsequential sites, indicating that there is much more to the story than de-spamming FB. And all of this news follows the recent ban of Alex Jones and the Infowars network, which marked a transition from shadow banning to open, public political censorship by these tech companies.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

There really is no way to know precisely what, or who, is driving these page bans, as pages on both sides of the political spectrum have been targeted, but the most visible common thread running through it all is political dissent of one form or another. And the bans are clearly coordinated between the social media companies, as targeted pages and news organizations are banned from multiple platforms (FB and Twitter, for example) on the same day.

So, the main avenues of public discourse on the web today are removing dissident voices, which as journalist and activist John Vibes puts it, serves the same purpose of the free speech zones that G.W. Bush made popular during his controversial presidency.

Free speech zones are the ultimate insult to anyone who genuinely cares about the relationship between human beings and government. And we live in exceptionally controversial times, where the lines between government rule and corporate rule are blurrier than ever.

“Any time you try to talk about how internet censorship threatens our ability to get the jackboot of oligarchy off our necks you’ll always get some guy in your face who’s read one Ayn Rand book and thinks he knows everything, saying things like “Facebook is a private company! It can do whatever it wants!” Is it now? Has not Facebook been inviting US government-funded groups to help regulate its operations, vowing on the Senate floor to do more to facilitate the interests of the US government, deleting accounts at the direction of the US and Israeli governments, and handing the guidance of its censorship behavior over to the Atlantic Council, which receives funding from the US government, the EU, NATO and Gulf states? How “private” is that? Facebook is a deeply government-entrenched corporation, and Facebook censorship is just what government censorship looks like in a corporatist system of government.” ~Caitlin Johnstone

So, now that we know that big tech is serving the interests of the political oligarchy, we are free to dissent in our own little corners of the internet (where very few can hear us), but we can also create new alternatives that will allow us to connect with people without the permission and all-seeing eye of big brother watching over us.

In the mean time, it’s good to know that independent media is having such a tremendous impact on the conversation that the powers that be want to shut it all down. Their illusion of legitimacy is cracking.

Have you ever known one of those people whose life is in total disarray, but instead of focusing on cleaning up their own act, all they do is tell other people how to live? If there were an international organization for people like this, it would be the Catholic church.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Mired in disgusting scandal after scandal, the Catholic church is known to be an organization that commits and covers-up pedophilia and the sexual abuse and rape of children. There are literally many thousands of child victims across the globe, and these scandals are so common place now, that people have outrage fatigue. Now, the Pope is under fire for not accepting responsibility for the evil being perpetrated by Catholic leadership worldwide. The Pope blames all the sex abuse on the devil, and he refuses to do anything about it, or even publicly acknowledge the victims.

In a recent article by Independent Ireland, Catholic Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan is quoted as saying he intends to establish a ministry tasked with chasing the devil out of earth. His major concern appears to be going after new-age healing methods, specifically Reiki energy healing. He says that it opens the gateways for demonic spirits to enter into people.

Keep in mind that the Irish Catholic church is notorious for sexually preying upon children.

Furthermore, Reiki isn’t new age. It was developed in the early 1900’s in Japan by Mikao Usui, who realized that healing energy can be transmitted between human beings via the hands and directed intention and visualization. You can call it new age pseudoscience (as Wikipedia does), if you like, but that won’t change the fact that it works wonders for millions of people every day. We are, after all, beings of energy, and to call this satanic should rightly smite God himself who made us.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Here is a quote from the Independent article on Bishop Cullinan’s comments:

Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan… said he was told by the brother of a reiki master that the man was “working on somebody one day when he actually says he saw a vision of Satan” and was “scared out of his wits, dropped the reiki and went back to the Church”.

Speaking to Eamon Keane on WLR FM’s ‘Déise Today’ programme yesterday, the bishop said: “You’re channelling energies, in inverted commas, you could well be opening yourself up to letting a spirit in which is not good and is dangerous stuff, actually.”

He said he “absolutely” agreed with Pope Francis’s view that child abuse is caused by Satan.

“This is something that has to be done in secret because you don’t let these people’s names out, and they are going to houses where people maybe have been involved in some kind of new-age thing or some kind of séance or that kind of thing, and unfortunately, they’ve opened up a door to an evil force, Satan.

“Does Satan want to destroy the human person? Of course he does. Not only the Church, but anywhere and everywhere that he will get in.”” [Source]

This type of dramatic virtue-signaling by an organization known for pedophilia is nothing new. In 2017, the Vatican’s chief exorcist warned the world that yoga also causes demonic possession and is therefore Satanic. The Catholic church has long been at odds with any mystery that it does not directly control, and their propaganda line is always the same: If we don’t like it, it’s Satan.

READ: RETIRED BISHOP EXPLAINS WHY THE CHURCH INVENTED HELL

Interesting. Especially when you consider how mind control works in a cult. A leader sets the thought boundaries for the flock, and any deviance from that is heresy, punishable by eternal damnation of some form or another. Retired Episcopal bishop John Shelby Spong explained how this concept works when he spoke out publicly, saying that hell is a construct of the church used to control people.

“I don’t think Hell exists. I happen to believe in life after death, but I don’t think it’s got a thing to do with reward and punishment. Religion is always in the control business, and that’s something people don’t really understand. It’s in a guilt-producing control business. And if you have Heaven as a place where you’re rewarded for your goodness, and Hell is a place where you’re punished for your evil, then you sort of have control of the population. And so they create this fiery place which has quite literally scared the Hell out of a lot of people, throughout Christian history. And it’s part of a control tactic.” [Source]

Here’s a thought for the Catholic church: Pedophilia is literally the most Satanic thing on the planet. So, until the church is able to exorcise the evil from within, I think I’ll keep practicing yoga and healing myself with Reiki, while keeping my children miles and miles away from the Catholic church and all of the creepy pedophile sexual predators it employs and protects.

Look at it this way. The kid doesn’t have to pay for drugs out of his pocket. He gets them in a shrink’s office. Insurance covers it.

His parents may be able to work a Social Security disability claim and receive $$ and other free medical treatments.

The kid’s school cashes in. They’re now teaching a disabled child. Government aid.

No wonder Health Day News (4/24/14) reports that 1 in 13 American children are now on at least one psychiatric medication.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

In 2012, the Archives of General Psychiatry reported a 7-fold increase in psychiatrists prescribing (powerful and toxic) antipsychotic meds to children, based on an analysis of office visits. (see also this.)

Then we have this (12/13/2009, truth-out.com, by Evelyn Pringle): from 1996-2006, US child prescriptions for psychiatric drugs up 50%; in 2006, more money was spent ($8.9 billion) on treatment for child mental disorders in the US than for any other medical condition in kids.

The legal drug traffickers (pharmaceutical companies) are banking on the obvious: rope in a child, get him on psychiatric meds, and you may well have a customer for life.

Mass shootings reportedly involving children? A Pharma bonanza. “We have to catch the mental disorder early and treat (drug) it, to avoid more such tragedies.” Obama announces a program to build community mental health centers (pushers) across America.

Never mind that the SSRI antidepressants (Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, et al) can and do produce violent behavior. Suicide, homicide. See work of Peter BregginSSRI Stories, and David Healy.

In 2012, I reported this:

It’s the latest thing. Psychiatrists are now giving children in poor neighborhoods Adderall, a dangerous stimulant, by making false diagnoses of ADHD, or no diagnoses at all. Their aim? To “promote social justice,” to improve academic performance in school.

The rationale is, the drugged kids will now be able to compete with children from wealthier families who attend better schools.

Leading the way is Dr. Michael Anderson, a pediatrician in the Atlanta area. Incredibly, Anderson told the New York Times his diagnoses of ADHD are “made up,” “an excuse” to hand out the drugs.

“We’ve decided as a society that it’s too expensive to modify the kid’s environment. So we have to modify the kid,” Anderson said.

A researcher at Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Ramesh Raghavan, goes even further with this chilling comment: “We are effectively forcing local community psychiatrists to use the only tool at their disposal [to “level the playing field” in low-income neighborhoods], which is psychotropic medicine.”

So pressure is being brought to bear on psychiatrists to launch a heinous behavior modification program, using drugs, against children in inner cities.

It’s important to realize that all psychotropic stimulants, like Adderal and Ritalin, can cause aggressive behavior, violent behavior.

What we’re seeing here is a direct parallel to the old CIA program, exposed by the late journalist, Gary Webb, who detailed the importing of crack cocaine (another kind of stimulant) into South Central Los Angeles, which went a long way toward destroying that community.

Deploying the ADHD drugs creates symptoms which may then be treated with compounds like Risperdal, a powerful anti-psychotic, which can cause motor brain damage.

All this, in service of “social justice” for the poor.

And what about the claim that ADHD drugs can enhance school performance?

The following pronouncement makes a number of things clear: The 1994 Textbook of Psychiatry, published by the American Psychiatric Press, contains this review (Popper and Steingard):”Stimulants [given for ADHD] do not produce lasting improvements in aggressivity, conduct disorder, criminality, education achievement, job functioning, marital relationships, or long-term adjustment.”

So the whole basis for this “social justice” program in low-income communities—that the ADHD drugs will improve school performance of kids and “level the playing field,” so they can compete academically with children from wealthier families—this whole program is based on a lie to begin with.

Meddling with the brains of children via these chemicals constitutes criminal assault, and it’s time it was recognized for what it is.

In 1986, The International Journal of the Addictions published a most important literature review by Richard Scarnati. It was called “An Outline of Hazardous Side Effects of Ritalin (Methylphenidate)” [v.21(7), pp. 837-841]. Adderall and other ADHD medications are all in the same basic class; they are stimulants, amphetamine-type substances.

Scarnati listed a large number of adverse affects of Ritalin and cited published journal articles which reported each of these symptoms.

For every one of the following (selected and quoted verbatim) Ritalin effects, there is at least one confirming source in the medical literature:
• Paranoid delusions
• Paranoid psychosis
• Hypomanic and manic symptoms, amphetamine-like psychosis
• Activation of psychotic symptoms
• Toxic psychosis
• Visual hallucinations
• Auditory hallucinations
• Can surpass LSD in producing bizarre experiences
• Effects pathological thought processes
• Extreme withdrawal
• Terrified affect
• Started screaming
• Aggressiveness
• Insomnia
• Since Ritalin is considered an amphetamine-type drug, expect amphetamine-like effects
• Psychic dependence
• High-abuse potential DEA Schedule II Drug
• Decreased REM sleep
• When used with antidepressants one may see dangerous reactions including hypertension, seizures and hypothermia
• Convulsions
• Brain damage may be seen with amphetamine abuse.

In what sense are the ADHD drugs “social justice?” The reality is, they are chemical warfare. Licensed predators are preying on the poor.

You know the old saw, “Children are our future.” Yes, well, this means a future populated by millions of adults who grew up with government-approved brain-addling drugs and, chances are, they’re still taking them.

The health of a nation is reflective of the health of her people. The external reflects the internal. If we look around and notice disease and cancer rates rising, we see that the cancer of society matches the cancers of the population. If we can identify how societal degradation is made manifest, then we have a handle on a cure for the whole.

In this case, what if world events were predictable and disclosed to the masses through the controlled messages of media, music, and the movies? Would we be able to decipher the hidden messages and connect the dots to stop the cancer?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

When you watch the latest Hollywood production to be entertained, what if you understood that on a higher level the moving pictures are a form of disclosure for your consent? Only you are not made aware of the requirement of your consent since those behind the scenes depend on your silent acquiescence to imply consent. The legal system operates on the express principle that silence is assent, even when it is not. True consent, however, happens only when both parties know that each has a choice not to consent.

The Netflix series Black Mirror features a social-media platform where users rate all their online and in-person interactions on a five-star scale. “Everyone in this brave new world walks around with a user-generated score glowing in front of their faces which determines their value in society.” A similar social credit system is now being used in China.

From the legal system to public entertainment, we are witnessing the normalization of things once deemed abnormal and these changes are happening through our silent consent, from the economy to new drugs, and the normalization of pedophilia and transgenderism. All the world is a stage…

1. A New Monetary System

The 1988 Economist cover predicts the transfer to a new monetary system with this image of the Phoenix rising out of the ashes wearing a crypto currency around its neck, with the year 2018 printed on the currency.

The media tells us that the blockchain is the new foundation of the money system. But that chain of numbers on the dollar bill also describes the blockchain.

The cryptocurrency market is believed to be a decentralized monetary system whose movement is controlled by those who invest in it, by volume.  If enough of the people invest (vs. bankers), then the people control the market ups and downs. While many claim that the crypto system is a whole different ballgame from the Fed-controlled fiat money system, the cyptocurrency market may have been developed by Alan Greenspan, aka Satoshi Nakamoto. No one really knows.  However, using cryptocurrencies, the individual has complete control over his or her money by placing this digital currency on a ledger, which can later be converted it into another currency for transactions. Cryptos are different from the fiat dollars in your bank account because the bank owns all money whether it sits in a bank account or under a mattress. The reason it is illegal to burn money is because it is the bank’s money.

2. When Blood is Used as a Drug

A recent headline reads, “A controversial startup that charges $8,000 to fill your veins with young blood is opening its first clinic.”  The only reason anyone would want *young blood* is for adrenochrome.

Adrenochrome has the chemical structure C9H9NO3 and is produced by the oxidation of adrenaline. It is the hormone that naturally floods your body in large quantities during a stressful event. Produced by the pineal gland, it is also known to thwart the aging process and rejuvenate the body’s organs, especially when it comes from a young person or child who is “untainted” and pure. It is known as an immortality serum.

The media sells the idea of “blood transfusions as the fountain of youth” while normalizing adrenochrome as an approved stimulant to be pumped into the veins of anyone willing to pay for it. Movies have been disclosing this practice for decades but the new trailer for adrenochrome discloses the reality for those with eyes to see.  So far, this hormone is not available through the Red Cross, the largest blood bank in the country. The Red Cross is often criticized for raising money for one disaster, then withholding a large chunk of it for other operations, as well as distributing contaminated blood supplies that infected thousands of Canadians with HIV and hepatitis C in the 1980s. The Red Cross is formally the Masonic and Military Order of the Red Cross of Constantine, a Christian fraternal order of Freemasonry.

3. The Normalization of Pedophilia

Between 2000 and 2015, at least 207,468 minors were married in the United States, legalizing pedophilia. Despite an overall fall in child marriage since 2000, there are still a shocking number of young children legally married (bound to a child rapist) in this country.

At the same time, according to the International Labour Organization, more than 1 million children are exploited each year in the commercial sex trade. You only have to connect the media headlines to see that pedophilia is being normalized to maintain the sex trafficking of children for the pedophile population.

For example:

Investigative journalist Amy Fine Collins says, “It’s become more lucrative and much safer to sell malleable teens than drugs or guns. A pound of heroin or an AK-47 can be retailed once, but a young girl can be sold 10 to 15 times a day—and a ‘righteous’ pimp confiscates 100 percent of her earnings.”

When looking deeply into the child abuse scandals for which new Children’s Rights laws are supposed to prevent, all is illusion. The very lawmakers who write international treaty laws appear to be part of a network that abuses children.  What if child protection laws are there to make children available to those at the top, including lawmakers and politicos? What if Child Protective Services (CPS) is really Child Possession Services? The possibility is there if we are willing to connect the dots.

The pedophilia agenda is there to make people believe that children are sexual from birth. This must be stopped, not through petitions, but through bringing light to the darkness and being vocal while withdrawing participation.

Fortunately, thousands of pedophiles are being arrested in sex-rings in cities around the country, from Chicago, to Seattle, and at the highest levels of government, education, law enforcement, CPS, US Aid, banking, CIA and the entertainment industry.  It all began in August 2017 with 3000 arrests under President Trump.

(function(w,d,s,i){w.ldAdInit=w.ldAdInit||[];w.ldAdInit.push({slot:10162674340441958,size:[0, 0],id:"ld-8962-3608"});if(!d.getElementById(i)){var j=d.createElement(s),p=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];j.async=true;j.src="//cdn2.lockerdomecdn.com/_js/ajs.js";j.id=i;p.parentNode.insertBefore(j,p);}})(window,document,"script","ld-ajs");

Hollywood cannot bow out of the pedophilia limelight as actors are being charged with sex crimes that exploit women, and Directors like Stephen Spielberg are being called out for taking sexual advantage of young boys.

4. The Normalization of the Androgyne

According to recent data from The Williams Institute at the UCLA School of Law, an estimated 1.4 million adults in the United States identify as transgender. However, there is a hidden agenda that underlies the transgender movement known as  Transhumanism which promotes the Androgyne, a hermaphrodite long worshiped through the universal ancient religion of Freemasonry.

Media prepares us for the normalization of androgyny by alerting us that ‘Finland is getting into gender-neutral shopping. Will the rest of the world be next?”  Do they mean no more male clothes? No more female clothes? Not exactly. Androgyny is male and female combined into one body, the worship of which goes back to Freemasonry and the Noachites, the descendants of Noah [Read about the symbolism of Freemasonry].

In the Age of the Androgyne we consent to the hybrid human being, non-gendered and non-binary. Instead of “he said” and “she said,” it is “they said” and “them said.” After California and Washington State became the first state to introduce gender-neutral birth certificates, New York City followed and Maine introduced non-binary driver’s licenses, while a federal judge allowed the state department to process non-binary passports. When X marks the spot, soon it will be the Return of the X-men.

If we worship Hollywood actors, who worship the golden Oscar idol, then we need not be coerced into this agenda. If wearing a dress is good enough for Hollywood actor Will Smith’s son, Megan Fox’s son and  Charlize Theron’s son, it should be good enough for the rest of us. The Transhumanist Agenda is designed to create a hybrid race that we accept without question, as humanity is transfigured.

This UN Agenda hopes that we attune to the idea of becoming a less binary race as a new vision of how we should all live.  The idea is being planted in  the Kindergarten classroom that gender should not be limited, but gender-fluid. All for one and one for all. So we must start using gender-neutral words, and gender-neutral bathrooms.

Some are led to ask the obvious, “Wouldn’t the androgyne prevent the ability to conceive, and lead to the extinction of the human species?” Anything is possible.

Science will answer the question with the Freemartin, an animal which originates as female (XX) but acquires the male (XY) in utero by an exchange of cellular material from a male twin. This twin trend is exceptionally high with Hollywood celebrities where In Vitro Fertilization is widely utilized.  The same transition seems to be happening in a remote village in the Dominican Republic where little girls become men in their teenage years. Cases are so prevalent in the village that it is no longer considered abnormal. Ironically, it was a professor of endocrinology in medicine, Dr. Julianne Imperato-McGinley of Cornell University, who made the discovery in the 1970s. How fortunate that she was at the right place at the right time.

Do You Consent?

Without an ability to reproduce, the future belongs to Artificial Intelligence (AI), where having a family may only be possible using government-approved surrogates. Do we already consent to AI by creating avatars of our images on Facebook? Are we are living in a B-movie? As the curtain slowly lifts to reveal the underpinnings of these agendas, do we have time to exit the theater?

Anything is possible. When we are strong of heart and aligned in love, any disease can be transformed and healed. And now is the time to understand consent.

Some of the world’s finest minds—from Nick Bostrom to Elon Musk to Leonard Susskind to Anthony Peake and many others—seem inclined to believe we’re living in a simulation. But if we’re living in a simulation, we are simulations ourselves. So: Is all illness quantum?

A simulated or holographic universe would be a universe that was comprised, a priori, of light. But light does not behave according to classical physics. Its physics is quantum.

For light, every place is the same place (spooky action at a distance). Light cannot move forward in space. It can only move forward in time.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Let’s look at the universe through light’s lens. There is no space. There is only time. When a photon accelerates through space, it enters the future. This would explain why, in the famous double-slit experiment, when we accelerated photons, it generated a wave pattern (representing all possible future outcomes). But when we observed the experiment, we collapsed the wave pattern into one localized (in time) outcome. Because we cannot see the future. We cannot see light that’s cycling time more slowly than we are. Because in truth, light can neither accelerate nor decelerate. When light speeds up, time slows down. And when light slows down, time speeds up.

And so it is with us. When we slow down, time speeds up (Parkinson’s). And when we speed up, time slows down (ALS). When we have Parkinson’s, we’re cycling time too quickly—at the speed of the past. And when we have ALS, we are cycling time too slowly—at the speed of the future. All time exists at once. Or, as Einstein put it back in March, 1955: The distinction between past, present, and future is only an illusion, however tenacious this illusion may be. But—and here’s the new bit, which may be key in solving mankind’s diseases—it exists at different speeds.

What causes cancer? You want the short answer? E = mc^2.

Our matter and energy are constantly spinning into each other, trans-animating—this transanimation is what I mean when I say we “cycle time.” When we lag behind time (alkalosis), we don’t make enough light. And when we surpass time (acidosis), we make too much. As the universe accelerates and dynamics of time change, our matter to energy ratios shift, but we always transanimate at light’s speed. We need to rewrite E = mc^2 from the point of view of C. Mass-energy equivalence does not allow for a manipulation of C. It requires we manipulate the M and the E.

When we lag behind time, our mass-energy equivalence gets skewed toward matter. Instead of gravity and electricity (energy) in the body, we get their material precipitates: iron and oxalate. Iron is, in effect, gravity in physical form. And oxalate (a crystal found in plants capable of photosynthesis) is, in effect, light. We might think of crystal as stored light—light that’s cycling time more slowly than its own speed, and is therefore material rather than immaterial.

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});

Inside cells that begin to accumulate iron and oxalate, after a while, a switch gets flipped. The DNA reads a high matter to energy ratio, and syncs with the wrong time signature. The rest of the organism continues to adapt to the ever-changing dynamics of time, but these cells remain in the past. Later, if they want to self-correct, they’re trapped by a pH paradox. (This is why Dr. Tullio Simoncini had such success.) Contrary to our perception, it’s not that these cells mutate; it’s that they don’t mutate. They’re still “making time,” but the character of the time they make is no longer in sync with the rest of us. They’re achieving the speed of light (C) using an old equation that has more matter and less energy. It’s still C, but it’s what C would be if we lived in a faster, higher-gravity universe. Cancerous cells are healthy cells that are cycling time too quickly—at the speed of the past.

The DNA is our code, and it’s protean. It’s designed to adapt to the changing dynamics of time. As it perceives its environment, it changes accordingly (epigenetics). This is why the environment—in both a micro- and a macro- sense—is so important to our development, and why adding chemicals to our environment damages us. The DNA is mutating all the time, but because the change is uniform—both self and lens—we don’t see it. What we perceive as a mutation is actually old DNA that hasn’t changed. DNA is like an architect’s tracing paper that maps light with matter. We only see a change when it doesn’t match.

DNA is like the live wire where the future and the past are trading places, the code where the information for light and matter crisscross. You might call it the nexus of the simulation. If the DNA cannot accurately read which time signature it’s in, it cannot adapt to the changing mechanics of time accordingly. Individual cells—or, indeed, the entire organism—are “left behind” in time, which is akin to being left behind in another dimension. As we move forward in time, we don’t notice our own acceleration or the expansion of matter. But if we were to observe a corpse from another dimension, it might appear to have numerous DNA mutations and be of deranged proportions. Such as the Atacama skeleton.

When we lag behind the speed of light (e.g. aging), we’re spinning too slowly inside a time signature that’s too fast (too little sodium inside the cell; too much potassium outside). When we surpass time (e.g. autism), we’re spinning too quickly inside a time signature that’s too slow (too much sodium inside the cell; too little potassium outside).

There are two nervous systems. The brain, which reads the collective self through the individual lens; and the gut, which reads the individual self through the collective lens.

As light, when we slow down, time speeds up. This creates a computational error as the two nervous systems clash. The brain perceives time running too quickly and assumes it’s in acidosis and needs to slow down. The gut perceives metabolism running too slowly and wants to speed up—but the brain won’t let it. As soon as metabolism speeds up, the brain gives the signal to make ammonia. The metabolism gets a wet blanket right when it needs a match. We should be taking off, but instead we founder.

Call it a pH paradox. The brain thinks we’re in acidosis, when really we’re in alkalosis. The result is we wind up even farther behind than we were. All the ammonia depletes our manganese (via arginase activity), which increases our iron to manganese ratios—and we fall farther back in time. The iron to manganese ratio—a stand-in for gravity to electricity—is paramount to health. It’s how the body locates itself in time.

It’s not exactly that our brains are complete idiots who are ruining everything. The computational error is understandable, because both things are true: we need to speed up, so we can slow down (akin to shifting gears). When we do this, we enter a different time signature—the future. The brain needs to submit to the gut—to let metabolism speed up, so that time can slow down for us.

It’s the opposite for our autistic children. We lag behind time, whereas they’ve surpassed it. We think they’re behind us, when, in fact, they’re ahead. They’re running too quickly, so time has slowed down for them, making it appear as if they’re developing slowly. In autism, the brain perceives time running too slowly, and assumes it’s in alkalosis and needs to speed up. The gut, which is smarter than the brain, knows they’re in acidosis and wants to slow them down—but the brain won’t let it. Every time the gut makes ammonia, to put the brakes on metabolism, the brain revs it.

Wellness has nothing to do with “killing” or “detoxing.” It has to do with one thing only: synchronizing with time. As we better learn how to synchronize with time, we should be able to extend our lifespans dramatically.

We are light first, and matter second. And when we shed these mortal avatars, we shall be light again. We await the arrival of the ultimate quantum computer, asking: But how will it solve the hardware problem? We’ve already solved the hardware problem. The solution to the hardware problem is on display wherever we turn. Mathematics unreasonably explains the biological and physical worlds because mathematics is generating them.

The singularity isn’t coming. The singularity is here.
